As a Japanese, I never thought an Asian player could be this successful as a short stop. I saw Kazuo Matsui, the best Japanese short stop in the 1990s and 2000s, miserably fail, which was a shock to Japanese baseball fans at that time. I’m really glad that Kim has shown his ability and become a role model. I hope he’ll be even more successful and stay healthy from next season on.

そもそも内野でスタメン定着する時点でハードル高いところにメジャートップクラスの成績を出してきたキムハソンはちょっと想像できなかったレベルの活躍やな。
アジア人でもできるってところを示せたのは後進にとって大きいはず。日本人もそんな内野手が出てきて欲しい。

The new wave of Asian players are way better now. It took probably a decade of adjustments. With so much technology and internet these days, the players know what to work on being on the other side of the world.
It's so exciting to watch a someone play at this high level. Ha-Seong Kim is my favorite player to watch, even when playing defense!
I could watch this guy play defence all day. So solid and smooth. Just inspires confidence that if a play can be made, he will make it.

I think JHL has acknowledged as much in public statements. He understands there's no $100 million + contract for an unproven star from the KBO without HSK having paved the way at the MLB level and showing how good KBO players can be once they adjust.
I don't understand why the Pads would consider trading this guy. Great character, loved by fans and teammates and just won a Gold Glove playing three different positions.

하성킴 대단한게 war아쿠냐랑 한때지만 잠깐이나마 동률이였던 적 있었음 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
후반기 ops 오타니보다 높았던 적도 있었죠, 시즌 ops 8할에 타율도 2할 8푼까지 끌어올리고.. 그 2달은 정말 행복했는데 wbc 체력 이슈로 성적이 떨어져서 아쉽네
9월달에 페이스 떨어져서 결국 20-30도 물건너간게 너무 아쉬웠죠. 골글도 받을 정도로 충분히 좋은 시즌이었지만 20-30 달성 못한건 못내 아쉬워요.
도루에 수비에 리드오프홈런에 그랜드슬램까지 진짜 화려했네 ..

올시즌 홈런 20개 페이스였는데 후반에 체력 떨어지면서 타격이 부진해 20-30 달성 못한 거 아쉽다
내년엔 도루 좀만 줄이고 체력 안배해서 20-20 달성했으면 한다. 20-30 달성하면 더 좋겠지만
