New to the channel? I do Let's Play videos -- these are like walkthrough guides of gameplay with continuous English commentary trying to explain my decisions and what strategy I use. If you're looking for hacks or cheats, you're in the wrong place!
That fog of war blot just south of Constantinople is shaped suspiciously like a thingy!
I can't unseen it. :(
The question is, will it swing to slap china's head?
Classic Blackadder ref…. 🤣
I was hoping I wasn't the only one seeing it!!
I was thinking the same thing at the end of last episode. Watched Superbad to recently I think!
"I didn't realize we would be fighting over religion." - quill18 accidentally summarizes human history
I screwed up the scheduling on this, hence the delay between posts. Sorry about that!
Glad to see you doing a Civilization 6 play through but I am wondering if you are going to go back to the multi player Baldur's Gate 3 with Kiss For Luck... 😉
Good thing we have all those salt mines for our salty tears.
Quill can't believe you think Preserves are only good for housing. Preserve are not only culture bomb(gain unclaimed tiles only) but they act a little like vampire castles and increase surrounding yields(I think you need to build the Preserve's different improvements to get certain benefits)
Need fresh water in the mountains? Aqueduct! Gives industrial zone adjacency too
quill and potato really did something here, starting 2 religious playthroughs at the same time, so much religion content
What type of victory condition? Domination!! Please read all your civ, leader, UU and UB descriptions and you'll see how religion and domination go hand in hand with Byzantium
Don't sleep on the free cav from the hippodrome. Enjoying the series!
24:15 dat shadowed area of the Balkan Mountains.
Oh shit, Quill is REALLY far behind this game. He's only got 4 Culture on turn 121. My dude's got to step it up a notch before China wipes him out after their friendship expires in a war of colonial expansion.
Good luck, man!
EDIT: You should probably a city due east of Edessa in the mountains, there. You should be able to reach the river with a 3-tile-away holy site, and an aqueduct will give you full water access, in addition to a major adjacency bonus on an industrial zone. Position that thing right, and you could hit all of your cities (except for the two in the far east). It'd also help with loyalty pressure on Edessa, and will serve as a valuable defensive block, given the rough terrain surrounding it.
0:27 Had to point it out.
Try to win a domination victory it is quite hard as Byzantium causes you to win a religious victory when you get close
Oh deer! Look at all those deer.
Are those mods that display other civilizations’ production below their pictures, as well as the benefits of policies? Or is it in settings? Thanks.
The expanded leader ribbon that shows their military strength and research/faith/culture gain was originally a mod but is in the base game for a while now in the game options settings. The thing that shows the benefits of policy cards is a mod but I'm not sure what it's called.
0:01 spuddies?
again i say, the balkan mountains are shaping the lake in intresting forms..... " it`s a penis"--> gif insterted
Great video! Rename your capital to Krakow since it is on the same spot.
I don’t think you can rename capitals, only other cities
@@Supergforce777 You can rename any city you own.
Ooh nice :-)
TAGMA RUSH
With Byzantium you can´t really fail with forming a religion, 3 great people point from holy site for them if I rem right. And with them you cant loose when having a religion. :)
Algorithmic Engagement!
did anyone notice the shape of the lake on this map? highly inappropriate ;)
I hate when you turn off the yields view… :(
what farm religion?
Used to be one for farms on resources. Sun God. Pretty sure it's been gone for ages though.
Oh man you could have easily have hit heroic age + build up faith + not help China's religion if you actually used exodus of the evangelists like you planned on :(
