That dystopian future with no Rock Music sounds like it would have been a much more interesting story for the game rather than the "rags to riches" narrative that most music games seem to have.
Do a second part of DYKG Guitar Hero. I wanna know more of Guitar Hero World Tour, Metallica, Smash/Greatest Hits, GH5, Band Hero, Van Halen, Warriors Of Rock
@@alexmazurek18 Warriors of Rock was one of the best in the series. It had 2112 by Rush as a boss battle, and that version included spoken segments narrated by members of Rush themselves telling the story

No kidding. Same thing happened with skylanders. After the third game, Activision wanted to make the games require you to buy more stuff to experience the game more, making it go from a simple collecting characters game to a game that requires you to have certain groups of skylanders to go through elemental gates rather than just having a skylander that's the same element, you needed a specific trap element to play as a villain, buy trophies to access more locked content, and some other stuff
The first and second games used MIDI files for the fretboard notes. This not only keeps the file size down, but also makes it easier to keep the notes in time with the music.

The .chart format isn't official, rather it is a way to keep file size down even further and make it versatile for many charting programs. Also, the chart can somewhat be seen in Notepad, because it doesn't hold any actual MIDI data. Although, it is easily converted due to only being five potential notes to process, along with some other notes for game effects, star power (In Rock Band, star power translates to an in-game guitar solo) and a few types of text events for song sections and in-game instructions. I really miss GuitarFreaks, the arcade got rid of it a long while back. That game was the reason I gave them any business, and I haven't been back since.
This video, oddly enough, almost made me start tearing up. I am a rather passionate musician -- I have always loved both the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises...but I never knew just how much of an influence it had and the hardships they went through to get to that point. Truly, these will forever be my top most favorite game series's of all time.
Aw man, that apocalyptic storyline sounds sweet, why the hell was it scrapped? Also, A+ getting Danny for this. Even though I played Guitar Hero when I was younger, he's the reason I clicked the video.
"Yea the songs are all covers because because the story is about a cover band" Yea totally has nothing to do with how much they would have to pay for the original songs suuure.
Accbar Sace They more than likely had to pay for the rights of the songs, which probably was just as much as using the original. I never really thought about this to be honest, I always thought it was cheaper too until I got into the music industry a bit.
I actually didn't know that the songs from GH were covers, I wasn't too much into rock at the time and I thought those were the originals. They are really good tho
Accbar Sace They'd have to pay for the compositional and lyrics rights however they wouldn't need to worry about performance or mechanical rights. That being said they'd still have to pay the musicians, sound engineer, equipment and fees to rent out the recording studio anyway. It's a risky move either way.
Accbar Sace Actually I always figured that redoing them as covers worked out better for a rhythm game because they needed access to the different channels and tracks, something that might be especially hard to access in older tracks. For example, how might one isolate the vocals and drum track for the training mode? Have you ever listened to the tracks when you practice at half speed? There's no way the clarity of the songs would be so good if they were simply editing pre-recorded tracks. It just made sense to me. And the covers for the most part were very closely done, I was always impressed with the attention to detail and accuracy.
Reason why is because the original Guitar Hero didn't have a calibrating system like future GH and Rock Band games would, so if you're playing on an HD TV, then you'll have difficulty playing as the guitar controller isn't in sync with the game.
I've been continuously playing the whole guitar hero series for so long now. I was afraid I'd look weird if I brought it to college with me since I just started it this year, but I decided to bring it anyway, and my friends love playing it. We always have a bunch of fun times playing songs from all across the series
I absolutely loved FreQuency from the first time I played it on a demo disc. Amplitude was amazing as well. I backed the Amplitude Kickstarter campaign and I can't wait to get my copy!
PinkZeppelin Ugh I know. Have you played yet? It's horrible. Bad song list (they've got Katy Perry and skrillex on there), and the guitar is hard to master. The buttons are so close together that you mistakenly press white instead of black and vice versa. 2/10
No joke, I'm one of those people. Playing Guitar hero and rock band has inspired me to actually play a guitar one day 2023 update: I forgot to mention I got a guitar and have been playing it. I mean not nonstop and shit but I play it when I just feel like "damn, I wanna play my guitar right now"
4:20 I love that sort of attantion to detail. Anyone could have just done that effect in aftereffects or whatever, but to recreate the authentic effect by purchesing the actual fan Black Sabbath used shows a great passions for what they are doing. Or... did.
Noah Terrell Same here i started playing late into its lifespan and i would have loved to see all the stuff i never got to, Sad that lego has no intention of bringing it back with lego worlds and dimensions.
COMPLETELY missed the opportunity to mention how the electronic game, NuJam Guitar, invented by Dan Klitsner, best known for his beloved Bop It series, ALMOST became an electronic gaming equivalent of Guitar Hero, all the way back in 2002, before the Guitar Hero series even existed. If you look up early prototype builds of NuJam, primarily the VERY FIRST prototype, it looked JUST like a Guitar Hero controller, and played just like it, but, again, in electronic game form. If someone at Did You Know Gaming were to reach out to Dan Klitsner, who is thankfully on most social media platforms, I’m sure he’d be happy to show the prototype, as he still has it in his office. But, yes, it is indeed true.
So Many Poops not exactly, there were changes to game play with each game, some good some bad. I honestly think Rockband 2 was the best in the series (I never got to play the first one because it was never in stores). Rockband 3 was terrible when it came to "innovation" they took "solo mode" out of the songs which was one of the best things about 2- there is nothing more satisfying than shredding a solo on hard and getting that bonus. the story mode in 3 was trash, all it consisted of was: "do this a certain amount of times" or "get this many stars" and the clothing and hair style options were a joke- I think there was less options in 3 than there was in 2. the number of songs was a joke too, not to mention that you have to PAY in order to import your songs from Rockband 1 and 2 into 3 and have to buy the game new in order to get the "free" songs. Not to mention the multiplayer aspect online was so poor it would take you 30 minutes just to find another person for your band or to join a band and if you had DLC songs that they didn't you can't play them, so you could spend $60-$70 on just songs and only get to play like maybe %15 of them because EVERY player needed to have the same song. (which to be fair 2 was like that as well) the only good thing about 3 was that you actually felt like the band you created mattered- as apposed to 2 where you just select gigs watch your band play in front of a crowd and that's it- in 3 your band would be in the main title menu and pretty much be in every menu you open and every loading screen showed your band being human (hanging out, signing autographs, being regular people) which I felt made you more connected with the band you designed. That and adding the keyboard was good.
+Shinku Quickman Yeah, I have no clue what they were thinking with that controller. They've had the same one for years and people liked it. Why change it to be more uncomfortable and awkward?
+Shinku Quickman Funny you should say that. It seems like months later, quite a few people actually like the guitar and the changes made in GH Live, while those same people deride Rock Band 4 as being stale and a general step backwards compared to even RB3.
Thank you Danny and DidYouKnowGaming! I'd love to see an in depth video about Lego games personally. They have a pretty long history that spans all kinds of IP's.
Bulls on Parade (in Guitar Hero III) was my favorite song to play in the series. I thought it was the most fun. That's only my opinion though. I'm sure a lot of you think otherwise.
gregor tudhope People go nuts over it because its a game that appeals to a multitude of audiences, not many games can say that and also have a never-ending supply of DLC and updates. Its like League of Legends where you don't have to buy or stock up on in-game currency to have access to all the new addition. in short; parents can give their kids a $30 game that is constantly being upgraded. It'd be like your favorite childhood game not having to worry about standing the test of time, because its not going to be abandoned. It only makes sense that strange people and obsessive players are drawn to it.
And the diehard fnaf fanboys need to bugger off, non crazy fans are fine but its the one that pretend they are the characters because they have sad fucking lives need to set themselves on fire
***** While I MUCH perfer beatmania, DJ Hero actually is more of its own beast in itself. Kinda unfair to compare the 2 games as these are pretty different when you get down to it
As a Fan of Guitar Hero, here are some other cool facts about the series Did you know that in the original Guitar Hero, The Hammer-On/Pull-Off System the Guitar Hero Series is known for was not perfected until the second game since in the original Guitar Hero you had to hold down the previous buttons (G-R-Y) to perform the hammer-on or pull-off? The HOPOs in GH1 DO work, but not as well as in further Guitar Hero Games Did you know that 3 bands have been in 6 different games in the Guitar Hero Series? Queen: GH1, GH Metallica, GH Smash Hits, GH5, GH Van Halen, GH Warriors Of Rock Foo Fighters: GH2, GH World Tour, GH Metallica, GH Smash Hits, GH Van Halen, GH Warriors Of Rock Deep Purple: GH1, GH2 (XBOX 360 Version), GH Smash Hits, GH5, GH Van Halen, GH Warriors Of Rock Did you know that the first song that it is possible to reach 1,000,000 points on a single instrument is Pull Me Under on Expert Drums in Guitar Hero World Tour? Did you know that there is a website where you can record your scores for Guitar Hero and Rock Band Games called ScoreHero? There are 58,997 registered users on the site. And scores are continuously posted each day! Did you know that in the original Guitar Hero that there were two hidden songs that could only be unlocked via Action Replay or GameShark? They were Trippolette by Andrew Buch (who worked with Harmonix on the game) and Graveyard Shift by an Unknown Artist (Though believed by some to be Windtunnel Syndrome) Did you know that the Harmonix Band Freezepop (who was in some of Harmonix's earlier games) is the only Harmonix Band to be included in a 3rd Guitar Hero Game? Their first song was Get Ready 2 Rokk in Guitar Hero 1 (which is one of the harder songs to 100%) The next was Less Talk More Rokk in Guitar Hero 2 The last one was "I Am Not Your Gameboy" on Guitar Hero: On Tour as the sole Bonus song in the game. (Guitar Hero: On Tour was also on The Nintendo DS, so the song title couldn't have been more right. Did you know that I Want Candy was originally going to be in Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, but was pulled and the supposed sole bonus song in the game: Because It's Midnite by Limozeen (Homestar Runner) was put in Tier 2? The solo is also one of the hardest just like the solo in the other Homestar Runner song in Guitar Hero 2 called Trogdor performed by Strong Bad. Did you know Burning Brides are the only non bonus-band in Guitar Hero 1 not to have a second song in a future guitar hero game?
just saying but Game grumps is my favourite youtube channel and Danny is one of THE absolute BEST PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! I could drone on for hours describing how great and kind and funny and awesome I think he is ^^ speaking of which I hope Ninjasexparty enters guitar hero (or rockband) as DLC. I mention rock band because they have had funny songs such as timmy and the lords of the underworld XD
5:41 Ashens covered Guitar Fever (the one center-bottom). He said it was crap, even taking into account the fact that he's not a big rhythm game fan, let alone a fan of Guitar Hero.
bassboost You could try simulation. Look for Lunatic Rave 2, or give Stepmania a shot. If you live near a Round 1 arcade, there are Beatmania IIDX machines at every location, along with a few other choice rhythm games.
bassboost Stepmania for PC. It is free and has lots of free downloadable songs available. In the Groove is also good for PC players, comes with a dance mat.
Osu mania is literally the worst thing to suggest. Do NOT play it. Stepmania (DDR Simulator) played the same way is a better simulation of Beatmania than Osu is. For a free and okay alternative, try out Beat Beat Revolution. Its a flash game that is styled exactly like Beatmania IIDX, and has PROPER timing, combo, and scoring system, appropriate for the game. As an aside, Osu mania uses the osu scoring system: Perfect, close, miss. Scoring is based off of combo. This is okay for original Osu, not for simulation of OTHER GAMES, with VASTLY DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND SCORING. For example: Player A hits all notes perfectly but misses one half way through. Player B hits all the notes but none perfect. Player B has the higher score. Does that make sense?
spcnym990 actually osumania scoring isn't based in combos (combo multipliers only affect standard osu, taiko and catch the beat modes), it's just timing accuracy (score is 0-1.000.000 based on 300g, 300, 200, 100, 50 and misses), and one can change the offset, skins and judgement line to make the gameplay experience a lot more comfortable, but i have to agree, right off the bat, the first time i played it, the timing was horrible, i could fix it tho. Staiain and EttieneXC from stepmania also play osumania
Because that's TOTALLY what I said. With something like Guitar Hero, the only real reason to play it is that gameplay. Changing it so drastically alienates the hard ore fans of the series. Plus, the way they changed it is kind of dumb.
Thank you, but with something like Guitar Hero, which I have put thousands of hours into, I can confidently say I won't enjoy this change. People like me wanted a new Guitar Hero so they could a new Guitar Hero. Not something that is essentially a different game.

As a guitarist in a band, i can confirm that Guitar Hero inspired me to play an actual instrument.
Edit: Band name is "Half8n" ;D
Luxorcist It got me into playing drums :3
Same here, although I probably would've learnt it anyway, it inspired me as a kid.
It made me want to be in a band but my guitar hero guitars and drums are all dusty in the corner.
Luxorcist My love for the game gave me a bigger interest in music. It's one of my favorites for that reason.
We don't care :)
Wow... Danny managed to be serious for 7 minutes in a row!
Finally! I've been waiting for Danny to be on!
My hands cant reach the buttons in time
Sad life

Is anyone here NOT because of Dan, but because of Guitar Hero?
Me
Just you.
Right here!
Only you
me
Anyone else pissed off at how badly whomever was playing was doing?!?!
Seemed they were doing fine to me.
Cody Hines 2:30
Brett Brown Nope, not bothered by it.
Reason why is because the original Guitar Hero didn't have a calibrating system like future GH and Rock Band games would, so if you're playing on an HD TV, then you'll have difficulty playing as the guitar controller isn't in sync with the game.
JaySay63 arin must be the one playing
Is anyone still playing GH3 like I am? :D
NexxZt I am
Pealz Heer Love the Lyrics of The Metal :D Although I must say TTFAF is the most fun song ^^
+Nolan15x for guitar hero you can use the controller
GH3 is timeless. I would say it's the best in the series
I've been continuously playing the whole guitar hero series for so long now. I was afraid I'd look weird if I brought it to college with me since I just started it this year, but I decided to bring it anyway, and my friends love playing it. We always have a bunch of fun times playing songs from all across the series
If I could go back in time to relive anything, it would be my childhood and the memories I made with guitar hero
WHAT IS THAT I HEAR IN THE BACKGROUND
IS THAT
IS THAT TROGDOR

YOU NOTICED IT TOO? :D

TROOOGDOOOOORRRRRRRR
I absolutely loved FreQuency from the first time I played it on a demo disc. Amplitude was amazing as well. I backed the Amplitude Kickstarter campaign and I can't wait to get my copy!
That moment when you knew what songs were being played by the notes before having the name mentioned or shown on screen
I AM IRON FAN
2:08 "No one would buy a rhythm game without a special piece of hardware attached to it"
...GITAROO MAN? HELLO?
parappa the rapper
gitaroo man is the shit man, still didn't beat Mojo King Bee in Maestro Mode
This is why game industry executives are idiots
And yet guitar hero is the best selling music franchise.
Congratulations, you played yourself.
smashbros379ful, who are you talking to and what point are you trying to make?
Yes! So glad to see Danny on one of these!
This is so weird. Hearing Danny all sophisticated-like.
Guitar Hero Rockapocalypse sounds SO BADASS! They should have done that over fucking Guitar Hero Live. Shit is a disgrace to the franchise
PinkZeppelin Ugh I know. Have you played yet? It's horrible. Bad song list (they've got Katy Perry and skrillex on there), and the guitar is hard to master. The buttons are so close together that you mistakenly press white instead of black and vice versa. 2/10
Also, GH Live interface is just awful. Previous Guitar Heroes had colorful, simple UI, but in Live it's boring(no colors at all) and hard to focus on.
I only bought GH Live to support the Wii U.
No joke, I'm one of those people. Playing Guitar hero and rock band has inspired me to actually play a guitar one day
2023 update: I forgot to mention I got a guitar and have been playing it. I mean not nonstop and shit but I play it when I just feel like "damn, I wanna play my guitar right now"
looks like its going to be minecraft next time...yay. (voted for legos)
Sir TheDude97000 Why did they even bother asking? Eh, the illusion of choice, i guess...
At least I won't have to raise the video quality.
Sir TheDude97000 I want a Lego games DYKG so bad it hurts.
Hurts more than stepping on one.
THAT FUCKING SOOTHING VOICE!
I LOVE YOU DANIEL!
It was towards the end that I realized that it was Danny.
I've played guitar freaks at my local round 1, and i gotta say, the design and song choices make me like that game more
BurningChimera No way man, Guitar Hero is a better game and I bet you have @ least 1 friend who plays on Expert ;)
u lil shit, i'll giv u that 1 m8
BurningChimera Odds are he's gonna buy Rock Band 4 instead when he gets a next gen, I know I personally don't like how Guitar Hero Live looks.
BurningChimera Lucky! I wish there was a Round 1 near where I'm from...
BurningChimera Guitar Freaks is much better than Guitar Hero, and it got ripped off by it too.
Guitar hero: the brand that both got popular and killed itself doing the exact same thing.
4:20 I love that sort of attantion to detail. Anyone could have just done that effect in aftereffects or whatever, but to recreate the authentic effect by purchesing the actual fan Black Sabbath used shows a great passions for what they are doing. Or... did.
DAN IS THE FUCKIN MAN
Danny was the only one worthy of a DYKG for Guitar Hero
rockapocalypse’s premise actually sounds kinda cool
Arin: "Wow, fuckin', really? :O"
I love lamb of god, that little trivia part about them was awesome!
The first guitar hero is the only guitar hero I haven’t played yet
Dyk lego games plz MUST include something about lego universe
thanhle nguyen You mean that failure of an online multiplayer lego game? I had that and it sucked.
Derp Lord It may have sucked, but I was seven when I played it and had really low standards. I still miss playing it.
Noah Terrell Same here i started playing late into its lifespan and i would have loved to see all the stuff i never got to, Sad that lego has no intention of bringing it back with lego worlds and dimensions.
Noah Terrell All that matters is that we had fun while it lasted.
It got shut down because people kept doing exactly what you expect from immature players given that kind of creative control.
You brought up Bemani, then why not a DYKG on Bemani?
McPluto YES! I love bemani games!
Yesssss
I just know Rock Band's gonna be the more fun reboot between both games. I really hope I eventually get to play both though.
djhero0071 It's gonna be the exact same thing again. Just go play Rock Band 1, 2, or 3 and you've pretty much experienced 4.
So Many Poops not exactly, there were changes to game play with each game, some good some bad. I honestly think Rockband 2 was the best in the series (I never got to play the first one because it was never in stores). Rockband 3 was terrible when it came to "innovation" they took "solo mode" out of the songs which was one of the best things about 2- there is nothing more satisfying than shredding a solo on hard and getting that bonus. the story mode in 3 was trash, all it consisted of was:
"do this a certain amount of times"
or
"get this many stars"
and the clothing and hair style options were a joke- I think there was less options in 3 than there was in 2. the number of songs was a joke too, not to mention that you have to PAY in order to import your songs from Rockband 1 and 2 into 3 and have to buy the game new in order to get the "free" songs. (which to be fair 2 was like that as well)
the only good thing about 3 was that you actually felt like the band you created mattered- as apposed to 2 where you just select gigs watch your band play in front of a crowd and that's it- in 3 your band would be in the main title menu and pretty much be in every menu you open and every loading screen showed your band being human (hanging out, signing autographs, being regular people) which I felt made you more connected with the band you designed. That and adding the keyboard was good.
+So Many Poops I'd rather the game wasn't changed much (RB4) than changed in ways no one actually likes and looks terrible (GHLive)
Danny Danny Danny Danny
Thank you Danny and DidYouKnowGaming!
I'd love to see an in depth video about Lego games personally. They have a pretty long history that spans all kinds of IP's.
5:41 Band Hero and DJ Hero aren't copy cats, they were made by the same company and were spin off titles to guitar hero.
He said spin-offs and rip-offs
Spin-offs and copy-cats*.
LEGO GAMES! There are enough minecraft videos out there
Danny mentioning my favorite classic rock band has got to be a wonderful feeling. BTW, Amplitude reminds me of Audiosurf. The Bluegirl
Bulls on Parade (in Guitar Hero III) was my favorite song to play in the series. I thought it was the most fun. That's only my opinion though. I'm sure a lot of you think otherwise.
Lance Jenson threes and sevens (also in guitar hero 3) is my personal favourite
Cathedral from GH Van Halen is one of my favorites. I have a lot, that's just like the first that came to mind lol
Danny i luuuuhhhh you
I've never heard Danny be serious for this long
PLEASE NO MINECRAFT FANBOYS
***** its ok but when people take it so seriously as to ONLY play it and no other games, it gets really annoying
gregor tudhope You'll have to leave the internet for that :P
gregor tudhope People go nuts over it because its a game that appeals to a multitude of audiences, not many games can say that and also have a never-ending supply of DLC and updates. It only makes sense that strange people and obsessive players are drawn to it.
gregor tudhope tell that to FNAF
And the diehard fnaf fanboys need to bugger off, non crazy fans are fine but its the one that pretend they are the characters because they have sad fucking lives need to set themselves on fire
DYKG Stands for:
Devilish
Yonks
Killing
Greed
Silvinator did you know
I dont even care about guitar hero, im just here cause Danny was in it.
can you do a part 2?
Not surprised this is indirectly influenced by DDR
i misread your comment and thought you said beatmania ripped off djhero
Instagamrr - Road to 20K! How is it influenced by the Deutsche Demokratische Republik, the German name of the GDR?
***** except...yknow. DJ Hero and Beat mania have very little in common.
***** While I MUCH perfer beatmania, DJ Hero actually is more of its own beast in itself. Kinda unfair to compare the 2 games as these are pretty different when you get down to it
That misirlou cover is FIRE
As a Fan of Guitar Hero, here are some other cool facts about the series
Did you know that in the original Guitar Hero,
The Hammer-On/Pull-Off System the Guitar Hero Series is known for was not perfected until the second game since in the original Guitar Hero you had to hold down the previous buttons (G-R-Y) to perform the hammer-on or pull-off?
The HOPOs in GH1 DO work, but not as well as in further Guitar Hero Games
Did you know that 3 bands have been in 6 different games in the Guitar Hero Series?
Queen: GH1, GH Metallica, GH Smash Hits, GH5, GH Van Halen, GH Warriors Of Rock
Foo Fighters: GH2, GH World Tour, GH Metallica, GH Smash Hits, GH Van Halen, GH Warriors Of Rock
Deep Purple: GH1, GH2 (XBOX 360 Version), GH Smash Hits, GH5, GH Van Halen, GH Warriors Of Rock
Did you know that the first song that it is possible to reach 1,000,000 points on a single instrument is Pull Me Under on Expert Drums in Guitar Hero World Tour?
Did you know that there is a website where you can record your scores for Guitar Hero and Rock Band Games called ScoreHero? There are 58,997 registered users on the site. And scores are continuously posted each day!
Did you know that in the original Guitar Hero that there were two hidden songs that could only be unlocked via Action Replay or GameShark?
They were Trippolette by Andrew Buch (who worked with Harmonix on the game)
and Graveyard Shift by an Unknown Artist (Though believed by some to be Windtunnel Syndrome)
Did you know that the Harmonix Band Freezepop (who was in some of Harmonix's earlier games) is the only Harmonix Band to be included in a 3rd Guitar Hero Game?
Their first song was Get Ready 2 Rokk in Guitar Hero 1 (which is one of the harder songs to 100%)
The next was Less Talk More Rokk in Guitar Hero 2
The last one was "I Am Not Your Gameboy" on Guitar Hero: On Tour as the sole Bonus song in the game.
Did you know Burning Brides are the only non bonus-band in Guitar Hero 1 not to have a second song in a future guitar hero game?
i hope they will relase dj hero 3 i want it so badly
Came for Danny and also watched this video because Danny was in it
just saying but Game grumps is my favourite youtube channel and Danny is one of THE absolute BEST PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! I could drone on for hours describing how great and kind and funny and awesome I think he is ^^
speaking of which I hope Ninjasexparty enters guitar hero (or rockband) as DLC. I mention rock band because they have had funny songs such as timmy and the lords of the underworld XD
WOOOOOOO DANNYYYYYYY
5:41
Ashens covered Guitar Fever (the one center-bottom). He said it was crap, even taking into account the fact that he's not a big rhythm game fan, let alone a fan of Guitar Hero.
I think this is the longest Danny has ever gone without making a sex joke.
Lego games but not world please the licensed ones would be awesome
true
Yes!!!! I've been waiting for a Guitar Hero episode since forever!!!! I can die happy now.
Wouldn't it be awesome if you guys did SSX?
Maybe some of that BIG AIR could help cool off some of this summer heat. :-D
That Other Gal Then you guys could do Need for Speed, Gran Turismo, ICO/Shadow of the Colossuss and Beyond Good and Evil while we're at it.
:-))))
Fuck I miss beatmania so much.
Anyone have any good alternatives? The last I felt the same vibes was from DJMax on the psp..
bassboost You could try simulation.
Osu!mania
I love Guitar Hero, it's one of my favourite games and it helped me get into some of my favourite bands
They should have kept the core gameplay intact and used that scrapped storyline for the new GH instead of this GH Live bullshit.
Keeps vidya games the saaame, I'm not comfortable with change.
Because that's TOTALLY what I said. With something like Guitar Hero, the only real reason to play it is that gameplay. Changing it so drastically alienates the hard ore fans of the series. Plus, the way they changed it is kind of dumb.
Easy there cheesecake, wait for the game to to come out and don't worry so much, life is good and youre lookin fine today if I don't say so myself.
Thank you, but with something like Guitar Hero, which I have put thousands of hours into, I can confidently say I won't enjoy this change. People like me wanted a new Guitar Hero so they could a new Guitar Hero. Not something that is essentially a different game.
Shrevident Listen to this guy, he knows what he's talking about.
