Actual advice: learn your class, then learn others, play trio with people on your skilllevel that can improve, push harder together and stop be greedy. Worked for me :)
Too much nuisance honestly, there’s some tips to be told but honestly it’s gonna come down to practice and game knowledge. The tips given here are foolproof and will come in handy always.
That moment the bard showed up during your guide was both hilarious and ridiculously impressive! Just seeing your lack of panic as you kept momentum, fighting mobs all while dodging shots got me hooked! I was instantly like "I want to learn to do that!" As a long time Hunt Showdown player who's been hoping to find another extraction game to compliment my playing time, that one clip did more to sell me on this game than anything I've experienced inside the dungeon so far. Thanks for making these guides man, they're incredibly useful.
These videos are literally wht new players need... If you like myself understand the concept of the game but is brand new, these videos are the next step. Thanks brotha.
same some stuff I figured out intuitively but I knew I was missing something, and these videos gave me what I needed to be more confident in the dungeons
Thanks a million for this video and the previous video. I only bought the game a couple days ago, but these tips upped my survivability ten fold! I played a round this morning after watching your video and took no damage..... Well till I tried to run to an exit and died but that wasn't part of the plan haha.
I am a new player in DaD but I absolutly LOVE it and your guides help a LOT now I can fight mobs whitout getting killed every time! It's fantastic! The only thing that is difficult to read to me it's the map and methods to escape (Like yeah i can fight but I usually struggle with leaving ALIVE hahaha) so a guide on that would be marvellous, Thank You for everything you have done and will do
You clearly put a lot of time and work into your guides and it shows! Extremely clear, concise and to the point. Really well done! Would be great to watch a PvP video from you!
Am a returning player from the day 1 playtest, just downloaded the free version cause i'm a broke bum, watched your previous video on the skeleton tips, REALLY thankful cause my experience with the old playtest were that kiting and backpedaling was enough so i never thought to strafe against axemen or duck crouch against zweihanders, saved me lives i would have gone through without a clue. Also if you meet the centipede on the same area in this video, there is a very convenient crevice where you can pass but the centipede cannot and you can just endlessly hit the centipede and return to the crevice since the pathing is changed everytime you enter it. The crevice is right in front of the centipede so you can't miss it. Defeated it with just the starting arming sword, feels so good lol.
Thank you so much for the guides!!! This game is super overwhelming and knowing that mobs have a very limited range of attacks def makes it a lot easier. Also additionally thanks for saying "brothers and sisters" as a woman it's kinda rare to hear lmao (especially with these types of games) Warmed my heart :D
Another small additions to an overall good video. Goblin swordsman had 3 different attacks. Diagonal overhead slash with a pretty goood reach, basic overhead and a horizontal slash. You can see the differences between the 1st two here - 4:06 and 4:19 . It feels much different parrying diagonal and basic overhead.
Great guide as usual. I think you should also try to include how to gauge whether to approach or retreat another player/enemy and how to tell if you are winning/losing a fight. Perhaps a guide on movement in general would help such as keeping your distance, movement speed, chasing, evading, etc.
Yoooooooooo! As a new player, I find PvP the most difficult. Thanks to the French-translated subtitles of the video, I can understand it better! So, I am interested in the video about PvP.
I ran my first ice abyss place. Seeing an axe skeleton, which can already be tricky and catch you off guard, but the ice version who raises his axe overhead and charges you like a psychopath was a shocker.
bro you should do a series where you talk about a meta build or two of each class, maybe play 10-20 games with the build and give step by step pvp matchups, and take the builds you enjoy into high roller to continue
Your tutorials are fantastic my friend! Could you please make an up-to-date troll and cyclops tutorial?! All of the ones I watch are very outdated. Especially the troll, his aoe damage and hit range seems to be increased, but I could be wrong.
i've always loved your videos man, glad you're doing updated ones for the release on steam and epic do you think you'll eventually (after the pve dodging series is complete i suppose), get to making another masterclass guide to cleric? a lot of our new and old brothers and sisters feel a bit down about themselves what with the druids everywhere
Yes I intend on releasing more Cleric content soon after the guides. Especially once we know what Arena looks/plays like. The Druid mobility is insane, but our healing is still better during fights.
Thanks for these videos they help alot. Can you do a guide on stats. I really dont understand all the different stats and which are better than others. Especially what stats affect bows.
Hovering over the stats on your character's info page should give you some valuable info on what each of them do. For bows, action speed (which mainly comes from dex) increases your attack speed. Str gives you more dmg.
thanks for the guides. - how do i put back my weapon to move faster? - are the maps always the exact same or are there difference each run? they did put a campfire into the Squire Base Gear Equipment Options
I have a solo Cleric Guide that is somewhat relevant. I've made some solo cleric boss guides on every boss except Warlord. Although some are a little old, they should mostly still be relevant. I'm strongly considering new class guides too.
Troll and Cyclops bosses. I've watched half a dozen videos on how to do them and still can't do it for some reason. Idk if it's my nerves getting to me or what. Playing Rogue, Fighter, and Cleric classes mainly, with ranger thrown in there. All above level 50. Good gear and still can't beat their mechanics. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I don't even know if any more videos can even tell me what I need to do differently. I think it just needs to click eventually. I've played through and beat Elden Ring so I'm not sure what it is about this game I can't get in regards to the bosses. Everything else I'm fine. Just those bosses.
Heater Shield is easiest. Great coverage and good impact resist. Round Shield has good coverage too, but less impact resist. Buckler has smallest coverage and requires skill to be consistent, but has the highest impact resistance and lowest speed penalty. TLDR: Heater Shield
beginner pvp guide would be very helpful not on how to play my own class, but how to counter each class I know what my class does, but don't know what all the other classes do and how I should counter them also PvE guides with different weapons, dagger and two handers play so differently than one handed weapons and seem a lot harder at level 1 with no gear
I’ve been a console gamer until this last year my entire life and this is the first game I’ve really felt my lack of skill with mouse and keyboard. Thankfully I played a ton of Kingdom Come and Oblivion but I’ve barely landed a blow in PvP. Is it worth it playing random trios or is random solo better?
I know a couple people who play with controller, so you could maybe try that. Or play more and you'll improve with kb/mouse. If joining random trios it could be fun, just be aware you could be playing with any skill and any personality. If playing solo into trios, be aware teams have a massive advantage against you and you won't be beating them as a solo new player. If playing solos then you will have to do everything yourself, but you will get better faster imo. Also fights will be more or less fair. I like all game modes. Try em all and see what you like :)
You can block a lot of spells in this game to mitigate damage. Also like gingerbeard suggested, you can try to skirmish at range with crossbow, or try to use cover/corners/sprint to get in close
Anything you can jump on top of without breaking it when the mob swings is viable. If the room you are currently in doesn't have one, then an adjacent room probably does, so you can bring the mob with you to the cheese spot.

The first video I was like wow didn't realize you could dodge like that. Impressive videos thanks a lot!
the short cut of you smacking that the guy to death was funny.
Great vid, a trap vid might help players too. Also I learned recently you can even block swinging axe traps!

No more circle swarm, it's great! Look for the triple blue portals, static exits, or even rope exits. They now show on the map.

Do you have a cyclops or other boss guide?
I have a few boss guides but they are not up to modern standards. Still useable though

What about bosses? I still have no idea how to fight the Cyclops or Cave Troll
Making updated Boss Guides is definitely on my mind

Been playing since the alphas I just suck at the game lol
goblin caves bosses
man im just getting rekt by mages in pvp, i feel since i move so slow with fighter that i normally eat the spells very easily, such as fireball
I would say either ambush to close quarter or keep long range while using crossbow.
