- Listen to "Kissing Someone Next,” a demo song for our new singing voice database, Synthesizer V AI Wei Shu.
Wei Shu is a Cantonese male voice with a soft, whispery, and slightly nasal voice quality, ideal for the low to middle range. In the middle to high range, the voice has a powerful sound, while still maintaining softness. Wei Shu is well-suited not only for ballads, but also for high-tempo electro-pop tunes.

OMG CANTO MAN FINALLY HERE AFTER 6 MONTHS
Oh, nice, finally we get a native Cantonese voicebank. Although I'm not planning to get him at this moment, it's quite exciting that he exists (or is about to sometime soon). At least on UA-cam, even with the release of cross-lingual Cantonese synthesis a few months ago, there are almost no Cantonese Synth V songs; with a dedicated voicebank maybe there'll be a few more.
Of the 4 new vocals, 3 are on my buying list. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME DREAMTONICS, GOOD GOD!!! 😂😂😂
his tone is amazing, i know what i'm spending all my money on next
Lyrics here, "-" means language switch:
Chinese Mandarin
Chinese Cantonese

He’s AMAZING
NATIVE CANTONESE LETS GOOOO
SLAY KING
TTHIS IS SO GOOD?!?!?!
his Name reading mandarin not Cantonese
If you read his name in Cantonese mei syu
Nice song and nice demo!
Would he also get into the Pro Editor bundle? I would like to buy him with the Pro Editor.
Is it designed that 竟 in this demo sound like "ging3" instead of "ging2"?
"感" in "情感已教我害怕" seems sounds more similar to "梗". Would this related to the short time for this character (kanji) to pronounce?
why don't you make KPOP ver ?
Cantonese is a slow dying language among the youth in china and it's important to preserve it, in order that they can understand it. In addition, the team of dreamtonics is currently based in China.
I believe they’re gonna do this soon because vocaloid UNI is considering moving to SV.
@eternalsc5470 vocaloid UNI is only considering an AI vocal, no engines have been announced yet and they're still thinking. Also bc VOX factory still exists and it's in beta, thats another contender
@@QieQieQuiche Cantonese is NOT a dying language. It's the second most spoken Chinese dialect/language. There's 60M speakers, majority of Hong Kong speaks Cantonese, and a lot of immigrants to the West speaks Cantonese and there are cities in Canada and United States are largely Cantonese based. I myself speak Cantonese. There's a whole subgenre that is canto-pop.
Wanna talk about dying? Chinese opera. Cheng Xiao is preservation of that.
@@cybergalacticnova oh oomfie I meant among the new generation. It's true that a vast majority of people speak it, but it's been reported that there's been a dwindle among younger generations.
