- Listen to "Ku-on,” a demo song for our new singing voice database, Synthesizer V AI Sheena.
Sheena is a bilingual (Japanese and English) female voice featuring a mature and powerful tone mixed with a melancholic, distinct timbre. Her versatility is suited mainly for R&B, soul, blues, and emotive pop.

SHEENA IS A GOOD GIRL, I AM IN LOVE!!!!
She is a legend . Legitimately didn’t expect her . But she’s so good
I'm sat 🪑
WOAH? SHE'S BEAUTIFUL OMG
sheeshna
LETS GOOOOOO
Gospel ballads here we go!!!
What a wonderful singing voice!
She's cute when her voice is a little hoar.
This voicebank would also work well for symphonic metal
Why symphonic metal? It sounds so girly and friendly?
@PowerRedBull The way it's tuned in this song, yes, but tweak the tuning a bit, and you have a bright and slightly belty tone for if you want a vocal style similar to post-Tarja Nightwish or Within Temptation for example
@@ZekeNigma I've only been using synth V for half a year or so, with just solaria. How would you say her voice compares for the a bit heavier types of music?
@PowerRedBull It works quite well, honestly, depending on the vibe you're going for. I've seen her used in doom/black metal stuff before, and I'm currently recording a Soilwork/Scar Symmetry-esque melodic death metal album with SOLARIA atm, and her singing is contrasting well with my screaming and growling
この曲すごく好き
I love androgynous voices!
Great vocals! When will it be available?
My wedding song (*˘︶˘人)♡*。+
ドラマの主題歌にもなるような素敵な曲ですね!!!
do as Infinity の 伴都美子さんの声を思い出される声ですね誰か夜鷹の夢カバーを
How does her range compare to solaria? Does anyone know?
This kinda feels like a Winx Club song, I have no clue why but like that's the vibe it gives me.
holy crap i felt like synth v was lacking some emotion with all the realism but nah bro this chick awesome
Great voicebank, but actually I cannot find Sheena on your shop
You can buy it now.Nice choice.
Remind me the singer from H△G
Where can i buy it? I don't see it on store page
She's not out yet. We'll have to wait for further information from Dreamtonics
Or the singer from nowisee 🤔 (but I love this voice anyway)
Her voice is fantastic, but unfortunately it have a bit of "buzz", metallic noise which is noticeable also in some other sound banks - it's easier to hear that without music, on site's page with solo vocal samples. Nos sure why some voices like Solaria an Natalie doesn't suffer from this (or at least it's much less prominent)?
Sheena as in sheena Ringo? 😳😳😳
Ooh!!! I can't unhear it now!
Is their name [sh iy n aa] or シェーナ?
You can tell it's シイナ from Japanese context! Just as Yuma is ユウマ regardless of romanization cus ユマ and シェーナ aren't valid names
Ok, but we’re assuming that it should, in fact, be Japanese
Well it's a western name too and the pronunciation is the same, but there's also a well-known Japanese singer Sheena Ringo who stylizes her name this way, so it's not unheard of
solaria's sister?
Can a native English speaker tell if if this has an accent?
She does, but it's pleasant and understandable :)
I would say from just this demo that's it's noticeable, but it's extremely mild.
I bought Sheena yesterday. She definitely has an accent, and "w" and "r" sounds are a bit iffy (I had a real struggle getting her to cleanly sing the word "world"). It's not bad though, and I'm pretty sensitive to regional accents. Not a deal breaker for me in this case. Her voice sounds a bit flat in places - not pitch exactly, I think its more tonality. Very early days though, and this is my assessment after playing for just a couple of hours on "auto". This weekend I'll see what some of the possibilities really are. Overall she has a really good tone with some nice variety in her phrasing and in the range of her emotions. I think she'll be a very useful voice.
@@themidimachine Can you exlain what you mean with 'flat sounding' .What does that mean? robotic, artificial? Lacking in what?
@@themidimachine Also, how do you think she compares to other voices such as solaria or others?
@PowerRedBull looks like I'm not allowed to answer that. I started working on a comparison between four SV female voices. I would say in terms of intensity Sheena sits just below Solaria with a smoother tone overall but similar. Weina would be next with Natalie at the least intense by default. In terms of command of English, Solaria is at the top, Natalie a close second with Weina and Sheena both having noticeable accents that may or may not be relevant depending on context.
