Fantastic music room amazing machines all of them i also liked the stone made walls and the wooden ceilling such a warm felling it gives like the pure analog sound :-) Greetings from Greece and i hope the best for Italy take care and stay safe :-)
Great video of your room and system, I hope you and your family are doing well, I am a retired US physician living in Marbella Spain, I understand the stress as we're right behind Italy in Covid 19. Just wanted to mention that I have had the Primaluna prologue 2 integrated amplifier since 2011, i currently run them with EL 34 tubes it's SO musical especially with the midrange, warmer than the KT 88 but slightly less power. Keep safe and thanks for all the great videos. Regards Raymond
You have such a lovely energy about you, I thought I would have flicked through this video just to see your room but I ended up happily watching the whole thing and wishing it was even longer! Amazing range of kit, really interesting.
i saluti da Los Angeles hanno apprezzato il tour della tua camera, in particolare la parte della stanza. Molto bello. Goditi il tuo vlog, sinceramente John Marziliano
Hi Guy it's me once again....now I understand; you are from Italy....I apologize, you do a great job at English....I don't even know Italian, sorry for the pronunciation critiques. Your room is Great...you couldn't get much better acoustic qualities in a room, than what you have. It is totally asymmetrical, is made up of many varying materials and many have reflective and absorptive qualities, giving low reflectivity and warmth. You have some nice vintage pieces; I have to wonder how many were passed down from your parents, as they are almost all from the mid to late 70's? (Except the DAC and the speakers) Great stuff in its day. Most can't be replaced today. I do have a comment on a couple of your pieces and offer my advice (I am 69 years old and sold Hi End audio through out the 70's and used to be the National Home HiFi product manager for Electro-Voice Inc...ask your older friends and they KNOW who Electro-Voice is/was!) anyway, I have grown up through the various phases of Audiophilia and survived. Please STOP passing yourself off as some expert, because YOU ARE NOT. You are just full of the lies and half truths and hyperbole from those SELLING hi end hifi and advertisers. You "drank the cool aid" as we used to say! I am an audiophile and a true engineer and marketing person. I KNOW, and to anyone that is not a NOVICE, they KNOW too. This only advances and spreads the problem, now world wide...it is a disservice to our audiophile community. Music is an ART, the science hasn't advanced since the seventies; it isn't magic or rocket science, but those that make a living off of it sure want you to think it is!!!! You are ONLY IMPRESSING other NOVICES!!! Now, on to my advice: you expressed dissatisfaction with your speakers (which are very fine speakers that you have added some tweeter to and a sub), they should sound very good without the added tweeter and sub; for their price, they should do it ALL, but they don't, which is why I say they are good, but certainly not great. First, you are using a Dynavector 20x2 moving coil cartridge (I use one also, have for 20+ years, plus some other fine cartridges for varying reasons and attributes.) It really doesn't get much better than that cartridge, not really. You can spend more money, but it doesn't get much better and That cartridge is only a $1,000! BUT, it comes in either a low output (.0.3Mv output) and a high output (2.8MV output which is in the range of most MM cartridges) version, and they are the same price. As I saw on your phono preamp, you have it on the MC setting, which is for LOW output moving coils....the 20x2 high output is for people that didn't want to pay more for a head amplifier, so they made a HIGH output cartridge. Most other big MC Manufactures also do the same. If you do have the high output cartridge version and you are putting that into a MC setting on a phono preamp YOU ARE OVERLODING your phono preamp and then sending an overloaded signal to your integrated amplifier!!! Try flipping the switch on your phono preamp to MM and then play around with the Capacitance and load settings on your Pre-preamp, to taste...their are no set RULES, just suggestions on Load and capacitance....your taste and combination of cables etcetera all play in here and that's why they are just suggestions...use your taste on load and capacitance. Try it, I think you will find out that Things get Better once you understand your equipment. Also, you said you were displeased with your ATC speakers they are very good speakers, but about the to four times overpriced, I hope that you didn't fork out the money for them! But, they are very good...well to start, you are only driving them with a 70 wat amplifier, tubes or not, it is only 70 watts for a speaker that is built for a range of 100-1,500 watts!!! You're just tickling it!!!! I wouldn't go out and buy a 1,500 watt amp, but go out and buy a GOOD 300 - 400 watt amp. You will pay less for a 300-400 watt quality amp than you did for the Prima Luna 75 watt amp, and will also have money for a good quality Preamp for less than you paid for that TUBE Prima Luna...more hype overpriced equipment! I think you will find out impressive things from that change and get your turntable set up right. I would actually buy a pre and power amp from the same manufacturer; you also mentioned MOSFETs...I also use MOSFET amps...ADCOM, Parasound and Rotel make great amplifiers in this range and they use MOSFETs, great amps and smooth, like tubes, but not as expensive, finicky and don't need constant "tweaking" to sound good...there is a reason that the industry went from tubes to Transistors...not all transistors are alike, Got it!!! Make sure that what ever you get has MOSFETs in the outputs and used JFETs as pre-drivers. That's all for tonight...I will offer you this...Because you have the PASSION; if you ever want to know the truth and don't want to pass it by someone that only wants to SELL you something, pass it by me, I'll give you the knowledgeable truth...I can be reached at: Chuck.m83@yahoo.com This stands for anyone reading this and wants honest Hard Earned, knowledgeable advice Peace all!
Another excelent video. Thank you for sharing with us again your system (with some new entries). Primaluna has got some excelent amplifiers, even though I prefer solid state over tubes (I do have an upgraded Dinavox VR70 integrated amp that sounds incredible in a second system). Keep safe!
Salve, ANA/DIA/LOG !
That room looks awesome. Perhaps not acoustically "perfect" (no room is) but who cares in a cosy inspirational music room like that. But it looks like the acoustics could still be pretty decent though, it looks like the sound can scatter pretty well everywhere and that sloped wooden roof seems like it could work very well. Stay healthy!
Cheers from Romania! I've been watching your channel for some time now, what a great job you do! 10x 4 sharing your audio equipment! About that, what there's left to say? Nothing but RESPECT & CONGRATS!!!! Nice to find out that you are ok, - thinking of the f....virus that's bugging us now-, I'm sure that U take the opportunity to listen to some great music and recording also, but please, take the time to do more videos this time of the "sitting home situation" for us, your followers! Maybe about how you record stuff? Any way, thanks again for all your videos!!! 👍
@@anadialog the same here! With two minor differences.... 1. I don't have such a nice audio gear as you., 2. I'm entertaining two beautiful twins daughter's.. 😂😂😂
Damn man...You got a studer!, a kudos pioneer plasma!, two nakamichi... and a dat!?...wow!Almost forgot about those... That robot you got from japan is from laputa castle in the sky anime. Seen it if you haven't, you are going to love it XD.
7:30 Nice KAB TD-1000 tonearm damper on your Technics! 😎 13:57 I also have the SPL Phonos! After two years I'm still very happy with it! I have changed the mains power input of the Phonos to a shielded version with an EMI filter built in; its noisefloor dropped with about 2dB! The part is: TE Connectivity PS0SXDHXB It's an easy mod to do, you only have to unplug the old connector from the transformer and plug in the shielded one. The hole in the chassis needs to be filed down for about 1mm, because the metal shielding on the module made it a tiny bit bigger. Once mounted, remove the fuse from the old one and put it in the new one, select your voltage (230V) and... all done! 👍
Thanks man! Yup, I told you I got it. Again, I did not see that many benefits but it can't harm. Maybe in critical situation is helping and I do not even realize it. Thanks for the suggestion for the Phonos. I also changed the fuse, which clearly delivered a much better sound.
@@anadialog Too bad, I think the tonearm damper mostly improves performance on warped records and the resonance frequency of higher compliance cartridges, like the Ortofon 2M series. The type of headshell you have is made to supress resonance as well, so that might also reduce the effect of the damper. You should do a resonance test to know for sure. I don't really believe in fuses, but I've heard people trying beeswax fuses with audible results, according to them. There's no internal shielding, like a wall or mesh between the power supply PCB and the PCB that runs the signal, so I'm going to weld a mesh between the two PCBs and connect it to ground for even further noise reduction! I can solder through hole components very neatly, but I still have to learn welding though, before attempting that modification 😅 If you're interested in a preview of the EMI filter mod, I've made a post on it: forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/phono-amp-upgrade.858370/page-18#post-21993530
The room is just fantastic. Friendly, plenty of wood and roof-tilted. It looks so warm... (and in Tuscany, nothing less!). Fantastic gear, also. I love and envy all and each of your open reel decks. So, I hate you!
Hope I could have some day afford to buy even one of two of your or equally good equipment, I would most appreciate to have Oppo multiformat player or some Nakamichi deck. I know it's the channel about audio reproduction, but could you tell us the model of your Pioneer TV? Greetings from Poland :)
Hi Piotr! It took more than 20 years to build my system. Selling and buying several components and saving up. For more expensive things like the Studer I asked the Bank for a loan. Took years to pay it back! My Piooner is Plasma Kuro LX5090.
Great room Guido and amazing music collection...I am jealous! :-) Tuscany is beautiful, you live in such a lovely part of the world...do you live anywhere near Sting in Tuscany, by any chance?!
Different people, labs and countries...a nightmare. The true downside of vintage audio. I never needed help for turntables though so for those I can't help, sorry about that. Chek dedicated forums I am sure you will find help.
@@anadialog i live in Naples and have never found a shop here that works on vintage gear. I heard that in the north of italy they can be found. I dont read italian unfortunately. I am willing to travel when the virus allows. Anyone you can recommend?
Beautiful room in a beautiful home. My ceiling is very similar. The Telefunken reel to reel is just awesome. Love the Nak Dragon deck as well as your Technics SL1200. I think my next move will most likely be that exact PrimaLuna integrated. Looking forward to the review of that and the DAC. The Studer has gotta be just phenomenal. So cool you’ve got a DAT player / recorder. Fantastic overall system! Thanks so much for taking us through a detailed tour! Any ideas of what other types of speakers you might like to audition? Stay safe and be well, my friend! 🎶👍🔊🙂
@@anadialog ah my friend take care so many people passing away i do hope u an ur family are safe....in uk same thing happening ....good to have a hobby while we on lock down!
Thanks for tech tour ver 2.0. Love the vids and as a child of the 80's analog informed my taste in music. On a non-music topic, I was hoping for some info about at an item that sits over the right side of your head (your right viewers left) in your Pink Floyd comparison vid. It looked to be made of wood and had what appears to be a goat and some rustic folks carved into it. The item just caught my eye and I would be very thankful for some additional info.
Beautiful equipment! I wish I knew as much about audio as you do. I'm a novice and find it all very confusing. I have an OPPO BDP83. Would you know if I would get better audio if I added an external dac to this? Or is the OPPO dac already a high quality one? Seems I saw somewhere on UA-cam someone had an OPPO 83 hooked up to a Cambridge DacMagic.
Oh I see that you got the superb RME ADI-2 Pro. Now all you need is the Kii Audio Three speakers :) Expensive yeah, but can be great for you since you don't have room treatment and have hard surfaces.
Could you tell us the brand name of the shelf you have your reel to reel on. You called it high tech audiophile shelf. Thank you for your videos sir always enjoy them.
Hi thanks for the updated tour. Your system and media is really awesome. I would love to hear your opinion on how to take good care of our ears so we can enjoy music into old age because so much can go wrong with that. Als would be interesting to hear what you think of electrostatic headphones. Greetings from Holland.
Hi there, that is an interesting topic. I am not an ear expert, I think that a doctor should speak for that besides the obvious, never abuse your ears with high volumes, especially ear/headphones. I must admit that I never had electrostatic headphones, mainly because it needs a dedicated amp, which is not easy to handle especially when you have a pre-amp or integrated amp that does not have an output. Nevertheless, in the new weeks I will be testing something interesting and strictly connected...stay tuned!
A little heavy on cassette reproduction & recording but what an outstanding setup! That Primaluna amp looks so sweet, I'm sure it also sounds as sweet if not better. Congratulations on your highly curated HiFi setup! Now let me pick your brain: if you would have to purchase today among the currently available in the market, what would be a digital CD/SACD/Blu-ray multiplayer of similar (or better) quality as your upgraded but discontinued Oppo? Many thanks and stay healthy!
I love that Studer. It's too expensive at the moment (4-5 k USD on Ebay), much more than it used to cost 10 years ago, due to increasing demand for R2R machines. My recently acquired Otari sounds probably as good (tech gave me a chart showing the mind blowing 20hz-39khz response with the new ATR tape) but its winding mechanism is unrefined and crude compared to the Studer.
@@anadialog mx5050 BII-2, a professional 2 track machine owned by nearly every FM station in the US until the mid 90s, along with the Ampex and Studer. This thing is built better than the Abraham A1 tank and is utterly reliable. And that sound, when recorded from DSD tracks using a modern ATR tspe and my Topping D90 DAC, is something I have never heard before! Interestingly, the recorded songs sound even better than the source! Can't imagine how incredible the $500 2 track R2R Miles Davis tape from the Tape Project would be.
Hi. Nice room. Fun to see the Nakamichi cassette players. Haven't seen that brand around for decades. Please do a review with your experiences with the Townshend super tweeter. I see you have mounted the tweeter on top of your speakers. Do you get cancellation effects between the tweeter in your speaker and the Townshend?
Hi there, I actually spoke about them in one of my first videos, not a real review though: ua-cam.com/video/lGeh-PLySGE/v-deo.html They told me to allign the SuperTweeters with those of my speakers. They must be perfectly aligned to avoid timing issues. Behind you can regulate the intensity according to your ear. Never had any cancelling problems. They are just amazing!
Thanks for the tour and glad you’re staying safe so far. Very respectable master tape collection! I’m curious what you’re using for making your labels / spine labels? Also very impressed with the Nakamichi collection, I have also have a Dragon for PB and a 680ZX for record (auto azimuth adjust for record). My experience is that for SOME tapes, the dragon isn’t capable of PB auto azimuth adjust, and something like the CR7A/E will allow you to “fine tune” manually to dial those tapes in. If you got your Revox 215 overhauled by giovambattista currado, I’m sure that’s a fine sounding deck too. He’s a magician with all things Studer / Revox :) Now where’s the Tandberg 3014A?!?! 😜 Again, thanks for the tour and glad that you’re safe.
Just printing with my Mac the labels and then using book binding tape to fix the label on the spine. Works nicely. Tandberg? Hunting but I don't have any more space, I actually have other components in another room but not as interesting.
Cool would you mind sending a template if you have one? I like the way you incorporated your logo into the spine, id like to do something similar with a different graphic... if so I’m at dougstrw@yahoo.com... thanks!
Hi Guido. Thanks for sharing: i am looking for shelves for vinyl and my hi fi set and I noticed that you have one that houses your vinyl and master tape copies which looks like an Ikea model . What model is it? I am looking for something similar which can support 80 kilos of equipment weight on top and about 170 kilos of weight in vinyl on the shelves. Thanks and looking forward to more videos.
@@anadialog thanks for the info. Do you think they can take 80k of weight of audio equipment on top plus the weight of all my vinyl? sorry for all the questions. i want to support funiture makers but they are charging alot these days here in Portugal and i need an alternative
You should order them directly from their site, it's in English and you live in the EU...easy! But expensive! www.systemsandmagic.com/index_file/prodotti_en.htm
Also I was surprised to see the ATC with a super tweeter and subwoofer attached. Please tell me about it’s shortcomings as the are highly regarded in recording studio’s?
My pair is one of the few they made passive. If you check the specs it is clear that specific frequencies are not covered but this is a common problem for most loudspeakers. Very high-end speakers usually do not have these issues.
Hello! In the first Room Tour, you had the AVI Laboratory Series Integrated Amplifier, which I had the chance to listen to in a system of someone I know. This is one of the best-integrated amplifiers I have ever listened to no matter the cost. Unfortunately, AVI is no more. Probably PrimaLuna is a bit on the warm side. The AVI integrated was also a bit on a warm side, actually, its sound was very well judged, and even if I hate to use the word neutral because none of the audio electronics are neutral, allow me to say that the sound of it was neutral, indeed. All the best!
WOW! Really enjoyed your "Hi-Fi System Room Tour 2.0" presentation! I'm glad to know that you're doing okay. I've been to Trieste once, it is a beautiful place, as I remember it! I loved all of the little cafe's , and all of the people there were extremely friendly! Also went to Naples one time, but found it to be much more of a city atmosphere, not nearly as "laid back" as Trieste was. Thank You, and really enjoyed the tour! Greetings from Delaware,U.S.A. (Della where???)
Great room tour. Some great music formats you have there ( am quite envious) not to mention the reel to reel machines. By the way, did you ever do a list of the albums/ cd's you bought in Japan? Keep up the good work please.
What switcher are you using for those cassette decks and the reel-to-reel decks? Please do a video putting the Revox 215 up against the mighty Dragon. You are truly an analog guy.
Hi, Allway's a huge debate which Casste deck is the best, the Dragon or the Revox. I do own A Revox B215 and the Studer A721 and a friend off mine the Dragon. He has more trouble with his deck. Replacing belts and several other things. Something that's not common with the Revox or the Studer because, there are no belts or anything off that. Everything is directdrive like all tape machines I.E. the A810 or all other Tape decks. Allso the Studer and Revox are easy to service if there's need to. A drop off oil is in most cases everything they need. So my friend is allso now searching for a Revox. Kinda strange cuz he love the Dragon allthough it's broken again. Kind regards and keep save
That room looks like what a corruptted officer used to have. Of course, Most of his collection is gibberish. By the way, I now have a Marantz PMD430, overall is outstanding, when nearly out of juice during recording session, she runs down.I only use general Type-D cell, also not using phone-out in order to keep recording session a little bit longer. I also record in type one, Without filter. Aftering trying thre recording function with some tracks found from youtube somehow, overall looks like playing digital files, just warmer.
Vladimir Vikultsev . Wonderful journey . Everything is properly.I wounder , how do you strugle with the dust (as inside and out side) ? In my opinion , it is the main enemy of any equipment . Keep your self and your family .
I also answered on the other comment. Its digital. For not I ma sticking with DAT. Apart from the superior specs, there is also a special reason why I prefer it over otehr similar formats. Soon a dedicated video.
I know, that is the problem with this and several other moder namps. As I do, everytime I need to unplug a source and plug it directly in the recorder...a pain in the @$%!
ANA[DIA]LOG I’m. Not sure when it happened, but in the last 10 years or so it’s seems most integrateds and many preamps have “lost” a fixed tape out... it’s beyond annoying swapping cables, but it does make the best recordings. I actually saw your video on maple tree switch boxes and decided to have my own built.
No bluetooth Reciever that can stream AptX HD or L-Dac codec lol 😆 Nice componetes ! I enjoy your videos , Would love to see you review the iFi blue ZEN BT reciever nice built in dac/power supply and digital outputs if you wanna use your own DaC i ran mine to the ifi itube 2 buffer/Pre made me ? My crazyness for cds/HDCD/SACD ! Bluetooth has came a long ways !
It has! As I presented in a recent video ( ua-cam.com/video/cmbGjkuvikY/v-deo.html ) now we also have a wireless high-resolution standard and logo. I am not a big wireless/bluetooth fan but who knows...maybe in the future!
Im still trying to find a cd player with an AM/FM reciever with XLR output for my future set up im planning out right now lol my buddy recommended me run 5 in 1 out and a 1 in 5 out switchers in tandem for all of my needs cuz the likelihood of me finding a pre that does what I need is slim and not to mention will just color the sound even more basically I wanna get a dac a turntable a cd player and tuner in and a SS and tube speaker and headphone amps each for when i get bored and want a new sound and then get an electrostat energizer this is like waaaay in the future but I love to plan out lol
Could you make an audio comparison between Bluray and VHS? Would make an interesting case. Also, I assume you are listening through an analog pathway when listening/watching VHS; should make a difference when wanting full sonic quality out of it. :)
Hello, I love your reel decks.. for home audiophile use which one is better 1/2 track or 1/4 track revox b77 or pr99.. Does 3³/⁴ ips recordings with 1/2 track equivalent to recordings with 7.5 ips on 1/4 track? Just concerned about tape use. Both decks are recapped and frequency response are 20hz to 20 khz .. Thanks
Revox B77 is an excellent model I had a 2 track version MKII. If in good shape as you claim it is an excellent choice. I think you are talking 1/4' 2 or 4 track. 4 track is mainly for prerecorded tapes. 2 track is best for recording and listening to master tape copies.
@@anadialog thank you.. yes that's in very good condition.. restored by a well known technician based in Canada and USA. B77 and pr99 both are brought back to company specs.. thanks for your help..
It's constantly changing. If you check my last videos you can understand which amp, Speakers, preamp etc I have...if you have a specific question, go ahead!
Hi, 2 or 3 inputs in the amplifier and 6 devices wanting to be connected. Risk of loosing audio signal quality in the in-between multiple connection devices. Is there a loose less quality solution? Grazie Mille!

Keep safe!
Solo un parola...wow!!! Tanti saluti da Slovakia!
Can't wait for the Primaluna review!
Superb trip!
Nice room nice collection you have 👍😎 cool
Its so weird and surreal seeing unseen parts of a room we're all familiar with (from your videos).
Maybe sometimes different shots/angles would be nice just to admire different background :)
@@grzeshiek maybe that could be a good idea...let's see...thanks!
Yes, I bet. I am used to it but I can understand your point.
Thank you for a tour:) I see that you are diving a little into vintage digital domain with a DAT :) Wish you very best!
I actually had the DAT for quite a while, I just never spoke about it...soon will!

That room is AMAZING!
I wish! Instead I am working from home and I have to entertain my doughter...NOT SIMPLE! But we are OK and that is the most important thing now.
Of course I've seen it! I got it at the Ghibli Museum! Love Miyazaki!
7:30 Nice KAB TD-1000 tonearm damper on your Technics! 😎
13:57 I also have the SPL Phonos! After two years I'm still very happy with it!
I have changed the mains power input of the Phonos to a shielded version with an EMI filter built in; its noisefloor dropped with about 2dB!
The part is: TE Connectivity PS0SXDHXB
It's an easy mod to do, you only have to unplug the old connector from the transformer and plug in the shielded one.
I can solder through hole components very neatly, but I still have to learn welding though, before attempting that modification 😅
If you're interested in a preview of the EMI filter mod, I've made a post on it: forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/phono-amp-upgrade.858370/page-18#post-21993530
Some lovely stuff nice 👍
Love the Laputa robot at the end from the Mitaka Ghibli Museum.
Ti ringrazio. Sono inamorato dalla Studer! Abbraccione
The room is just fantastic. Friendly, plenty of wood and roof-tilted. It looks so warm... (and in Tuscany, nothing less!).
Fantastic gear, also. I love and envy all and each of your open reel decks. So, I hate you!
😂
Happy to see that you use the Adi-2 pro ! I had a lot of RME products and this one is one of my favorites
Indeed!
Ma che bel posto hai!!! Complimenti!!! A presto amico mio!

@@anadialog Legendary Kuro :)

Great room Guido and amazing music collection...I am jealous! :-) Tuscany is beautiful, you live in such a lovely part of the world...do you live anywhere near Sting in Tuscany, by any chance?!
Yes, he is just 40 min from here!
Very nice house, room and tour. Nice vintage gear too. Who services your vintage gear? I have a few Pioneer turntables I need to bring back to life?
Different people, labs and countries...a nightmare. The true downside of vintage audio. I never needed help for turntables though so for those I can't help, sorry about that. Chek dedicated forums I am sure you will find help.
@@anadialog i live in Naples and have never found a shop here that works on vintage gear. I heard that in the north of italy they can be found. I dont read italian unfortunately. I am willing to travel when the virus allows. Anyone you can recommend?
Super cool!
Fantastic!!!
Only one word... WOW!!!!!
Great collection of tape decks. Only you are missing the Tandberg 3014. Greetings
True! ;-)

I love that Reo-Kut. I like to spin 78s.
Here is my dedicated video if interested:

Beautiful equipment! I wish I knew as much about audio as you do. I'm a novice and find it all very confusing. I have an OPPO BDP83. Would you know if I would get better audio if I added an external dac to this? Or is the OPPO dac already a high quality one? Seems I saw somewhere on UA-cam someone had an OPPO 83 hooked up to a Cambridge DacMagic.
Top youtuber!!!! The best! You live in Italy??? Good job!
Thanks! Firenze!
No Pathos? They are in your backyard…. 😉. Thanks for the tour.
Oh I see that you got the superb RME ADI-2 Pro. Now all you need is the Kii Audio Three speakers :)
Expensive yeah, but can be great for you since you don't have room treatment and have hard surfaces.
Could you tell us the brand name of the shelf you have your reel to reel on. You called it high tech audiophile shelf. Thank you for your videos sir always enjoy them.
Sure, it's the PRO-JECT WALLMOUNT IT 5 walnut turntable shelf www.project-audio.com/en/product/wallmount-it/

Cool! Love Otari, which model? That is an amazing frequency response! Almost double of that of a CD!
Hi there, I actually spoke about them in one of my first videos, not a real review though: ua-cam.com/video/lGeh-PLySGE/v-deo.html
They told me to allign the SuperTweeters with those of my speakers. They must be perfectly aligned to avoid timing issues. Behind you can regulate the intensity according to your ear. Never had any cancelling problems. They are just amazing!
Cable management with all that gear is almost impossible. My cables always drive me nutz!
True...
He’s a magician with all things Studer / Revox :)
Now where’s the Tandberg 3014A?!?! 😜
Again, thanks for the tour and glad that you’re safe.
Just printing with my Mac the labels and then using book binding tape to fix the label on the spine. Works nicely. Tandberg? Hunting but I don't have any more space, I actually have other components in another room but not as interesting.
Cool would you mind sending a template if you have one? I like the way you incorporated your logo into the spine, id like to do something similar with a different graphic... if so I’m at dougstrw@yahoo.com... thanks!
I love that Revox cassette player. I have the B225 CD player from the same error, unfortunately the draw motor died
Hi Guido. Thanks for sharing:
i am looking for shelves for vinyl and my hi fi set and I noticed that you have one that houses your vinyl and master tape copies which looks like an Ikea model . What model is it? I am looking for something similar which can support 80 kilos of equipment weight on top and about 170 kilos of weight in vinyl on the shelves. Thanks and looking forward to more videos.
Yes, good old Kallax (that is the name here in Italy). Very functional but quite ugly IMO.
@@anadialog thanks for the info. Do you think they can take 80k of weight of audio equipment on top plus the weight of all my vinyl?
sorry for all the questions. i want to support funiture makers but they are charging alot these days here in Portugal and i need an alternative
I love your Black Noise mains filters. I'm searching for them but they're hard to find in The Netherlands.
You should order them directly from their site, it's in English and you live in the EU...easy! But expensive! www.systemsandmagic.com/index_file/prodotti_en.htm
BTW, those were the topic of my first (embarrassing) video: ua-cam.com/video/elU1cEMLjYE/v-deo.html
Great room, guess you enjoy spending time there during the pandemic
True! I still have the baby and it's difficult to part from it. Thanks for you reflections!
Thanks Thomas. Cool! I hope you will come back soon and see teh rest of Italy.
Cos, abiti in Italia? Comunque mi piacerebbe sul serio provare il tuo impianto
Great room tour. Some great music formats you have there ( am quite envious) not to mention the reel to reel machines. By the way, did you ever do a list of the albums/ cd's you bought in Japan? Keep up the good work please.

wow, those nakamichi decks are legends ! I have myself the Sony TC-K700ES !
Fantastic! No MiniDisc equipment? Greetings from Switzerland.
Not a great Minidiscs fan. It is digital compressed music afterall. But you never know...
Everything is directdrive like all tape machines
I.E. the A810 or all other Tape decks. Allso the Studer and Revox are easy to service if there's need to. A drop off oil is in most cases everything they need.
So my friend is allso now searching for a Revox. Kinda strange cuz he love the Dragon allthough it's broken again. Kind regards and keep save
I agree, the Revox does appear to be a tank! Its impressive.
Oh my! You touched a nerve there...dust is simply unbearable. Its filled with dust here and I have no defense!
What city and country?

Great video. I thought maybe you might have got a dcc deck given dcc’s analog roots and a large prerecorded library.
I also answered on the other comment. Its digital. For not I ma sticking with DAT. Apart from the superior specs, there is also a special reason why I prefer it over otehr similar formats. Soon a dedicated video.
Hi
A have a Primaluna prologen Two amp. How do a plug in my cassette deck ? It has no tape loop?
Christer
I know, that is the problem with this and several other moder namps. As I do, everytime I need to unplug a source and plug it directly in the recorder...a pain in the @$%!
ANA[DIA]LOG I’m. Not sure when it happened, but in the last 10 years or so it’s seems most integrateds and many preamps have “lost” a fixed tape out... it’s beyond annoying swapping cables, but it does make the best recordings. I actually saw your video on maple tree switch boxes and decided to have my own built.
Good idea! That is the best solution, so you get prime materials at a fraction of the price!

Hi, 2 or 3 inputs in the amplifier and 6 devices wanting to be connected. Risk of loosing audio signal quality in the in-between multiple connection devices. Is there a loose less quality solution? Grazie Mille!
I am afraid not, unless you buy a new preamp filled with inputs!
