Now the message that resonates with me is that we think finding someone to love is the answer to our loneliness but if we can’t be alone with ourselves and accept ourselves we will still feel lonely even if we find love because we can’t really love without loving ourselves.

This probably isn't the message of the song but I really resonate with the line " I keep mistaking loneliness for love" because I'm aromantic and for the longest time I thought I fell in love easily. I would always attach myself to people and yearn for someone to understand me, I was lonely and just wanted people that were close to me and I thought that longing for closeness was love. I have since got a few very close friends and realized my identity and I'm pretty happy right now!
