Thank you a THOUSAND times over for sharing all this knowledge with us. I went to a dermatologist when my skin was perfect and young &new. That dermatologist made a atatement about my freckles being age spots and it has changed my entire view and self esteem about my skin, and especially now that i have actual age spots. Your maturity shows me not all skin experts are the same. Thank you!

I went through the exact same thing recently. On top of it, the derm said in order for him to make me look beautiful he would need to do several different lasers and it would be expensive! It just crushed the little self esteem I had left! I’m so sorry that you had a similar experience 🥰

Great tip adding the Tretinoin with the body cream. Tretinoin does not require a prescription in Spain and is very inexpensive, funnily enough Amalactin costs the bomb! Thanks for the fun video.
I’m waiting on your travel set and eye cream. Totally took advantage of your sale! 😍

I love this channel. No commercials, no sponsorships and in depth skin science. I've been into skincare for a few years now so I've seen every beginner video that's been made. I'm interested in getting into the science, -the why and how ingredients work. I think I've landed in the right place. ❤

Hey girl, thanks for the tips on vitamin c again!
I'm using one by Roc and have some I bought a couple weeks ago by L'Oreal and then I guess I'll stop using vitamin c.
I swear by that CeraVe resurfacing retinol with licorice root. That stuff makes my skin brighter with just one use.

One recommendation I never hear dermatologists with content here on YT is that if you have insurance you should try to go to a dermatologist, the cost of the appointment and the retinoid, which probably will be covered or if not it will probably be around 70usd, will last you a long time, maybe 8-10 months? I think it is worth suggesting.

Vitamin C is also essential for collagen production, so if you can fit in, do! Topical is more effective for skin than oral, but why not both? There are drugstore Vitamin C products that are efficacious .. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR and the data. Cerave has a stable L- Ascorbic Acid serum at 10%, and Vanicream has a 5% THD for sensitive skin, which is a fat soluble & stable form of Vitamin C backed by some data. Of course we can use more data, but not all is lost if youre looking for Vitamin C on a budget, or with sensitive skin!
There's a lot of data for THD Ascorbate.. I know that there is date for a couple of more as well. They're more stable and more easily tolerated. Just do your research, make sure the information you're getting is backed by clinical data, and is UPDATED information by someone reputable.
Good luck on your skincare journey, beautiful people ✨️🌙

Hi Dr. Kappel! Thank you for making this episode with drugstore options and the note on vitamin C. Are you willing to discuss the skin issues EDS patients encounter such are "thin" skin/problems with wound healing and which procedures you recommend in general? We tend to have problems with sagging not as much with wrinkling and I have a bunch of cherry angiomas, I am not sure if that's due to the defective collagen.

Love your NMF hydrator tried it in mini and just bought full size with eye cream during your Black Friday sale. slowly trying out your products. I am so glad that you brought mini size into your lineup (they are the same size as some full size products in other medgade lines). Made it easier to say for this price I can try before I commit to a larger priced purchase. My oily dehydrated acne prone skin loves this product. It just soaks in and has never pilled with any sunscreen I have used both chemical or mineral Even used it after my last laser treatment over Thanksgiving.

Love your content. Thank you so much. I've watched you for a few years and have enjoyed watching the evolution of your face and skin. You actually look more sculpted since the last video (especially the jaw and cheekbones), perhaps a different face shape (triangle now, less round than before). Gorgeous either way. What have you tried to make this change? Microcurrent, perhaps?

Here is a secret for younger, wrinkle-free skin. When I was 14 years old, my Mom had a friend from Ghana, Africa her skin was like glass, not just her face everywhere. Her secret is using butter mixed with salt daily, leaving it on your whole body for 10 minutes, then rinsing it off. I started doing it, and the difference is night and day. It's cheap, and I've tried all the creams, but nothing comes close to it. I don't have a wrinkle.
