Watching the video now, but wanted to say thanks for this budget friendly video for those of us who want great skin but have little funds to work with. Thanks!
Thank you a THOUSAND times over for sharing all this knowledge with us. I went to a dermatologist when my skin was perfect and young &new. That dermatologist made a atatement about my freckles being age spots and it has changed my entire view and self esteem about my skin, and especially now that i have actual age spots. Your maturity shows me not all skin experts are the same. Thank you!
I went through the exact same thing recently. On top of it, the derm said in order for him to make me look beautiful he would need to do several different lasers and it would be expensive! It just crushed the little self esteem I had left! I’m so sorry that you had a similar experience 🥰
Great tip adding the Tretinoin with the body cream. Tretinoin does not require a prescription in Spain and is very inexpensive, funnily enough Amalactin costs the bomb! Thanks for the fun video. I’m waiting on your travel set and eye cream. Totally took advantage of your sale! 😍
I love this channel. No commercials, no sponsorships and in depth skin science. I've been into skincare for a few years now so I've seen every beginner video that's been made. I'm interested in getting into the science, -the why and how ingredients work. I think I've landed in the right place. ❤
Just found your channel two days ago and I've been binging. Learning so much behind the science of dermatology. It was not a topic of interest but I'm actually looking more into it. Thanks for the education.
Hey girl, thanks for the tips on vitamin c again! I'm using one by Roc and have some I bought a couple weeks ago by L'Oreal and then I guess I'll stop using vitamin c. I swear by that CeraVe resurfacing retinol with licorice root. That stuff makes my skin brighter with just one use.
Thank you for all that you share to educate us. I’ve learned so much about taking care of my skin and your skincare products have made an amazing difference in just the 90 days I’ve been using them.
I really enjoyed your vitamin c product I bought it and used it all. It was definitely a splurge for me but it transformed my skin. I stopped using it because of price and noticed my skin not looking as good. I would definitely recommend. I will be repurchasing it soon.
One recommendation I never hear dermatologists with content here on YT is that if you have insurance you should try to go to a dermatologist, the cost of the appointment and the retinoid, which probably will be covered or if not it will probably be around 70usd, will last you a long time, maybe 8-10 months? I think it is worth suggesting.
Thanks Dr Stefani! We can always depend on you for giving options and alternatives for everyone! It’s nice to know where to prioritize and spend our dollars! Thanks again for all your great content! 😊❤
Such a lot of valuable information as always! I have very delicate skin and do not trust everything. I loved seeing pharmacy options in case needed. Your daughter is such a cutie. 😊 Awesome video! Sending love! 💕💕💕💕
another amazing video! Not only am I interested in beauty and skin care, but I also love to learn so this channel is so inspiring! I find myself taking notes, rewatching videos, and sending them to friends! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Thank you for your suggestions. I have found your channel few days ago through a friend of mine and I have been watching many of your videos since then. I love your honesty❤
I just came across your channel and how in the world did I not know about you sooner!! I’ve been binging your videos! Thank you for taking the time and giving drugstore options! It’s been so helpful! I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday! 🎄💚❤️🥰
Vitamin C is also essential for collagen production, so if you can fit in, do! Topical is more effective for skin than oral, but why not both? There are drugstore Vitamin C products that are efficacious .. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR and the data. Cerave has a stable L- Ascorbic Acid serum at 10%, and Vanicream has a 5% THD for sensitive skin, which is a fat soluble & stable form of Vitamin C backed by some data. Of course we can use more data, but not all is lost if youre looking for Vitamin C on a budget, or with sensitive skin! There's a lot of data for THD Ascorbate.. I know that there is date for a couple of more as well. They're more stable and more easily tolerated. Just do your research, make sure the information you're getting is backed by clinical data, and is UPDATED information by someone reputable. Good luck on your skincare journey, beautiful people ✨️🌙
Thanks for this! I'd love to believe her on that point about medical grade vit C but it's kind of a conflict of interest since she's selling her own Vit C haha
Thank you so much Dr. Stefani Kappel for sharing your insights, wisdom, and advice here for us newbies who are on a budget. You are saving our face, youth, and body skin care!! I appreciate you so much.. I'll be saving and preparing so that I can afford your high quality skincare line in the future. Blessings and Hugs to you! 💝
Hi Dr. Stefani, I’m so glad I came across your channel, your information and knowledge is so helpful. I’m definitely interested in anti aging skin care.
Thank you for making a video that simpler and more affordable. I’m a pharmacist and even I had a hard time following some of your in office procedures.
Hi Dr. Kappel! Thank you for making this episode with drugstore options and the note on vitamin C. Are you willing to discuss the skin issues EDS patients encounter such are "thin" skin/problems with wound healing and which procedures you recommend in general? We tend to have problems with sagging not as much with wrinkling and I have a bunch of cherry angiomas, I am not sure if that's due to the defective collagen.
Loved your information--(as per usual!). I have kind of a weird question. Do you use perfume? If so, do you make sure to not spray the perfume on your skin? Do you just spray it on your clothes? Does it matter if it gets on your skin?🌺🌺🌺
Thank you Stefani! Love all the videos and shorts. Such a good channel:) I know u know this but it never gets old hearing YOU are gorgeous, smart, and super informative!!!♡
Thank you for all your honest content you are a gem! I would love to see a video on perimenopause and how that will affect our skin, & what we can and cannot prepare for. Also what we can do for prevention if anything.
Love your NMF hydrator tried it in mini and just bought full size with eye cream during your Black Friday sale. slowly trying out your products. I am so glad that you brought mini size into your lineup (they are the same size as some full size products in other medgade lines). Made it easier to say for this price I can try before I commit to a larger priced purchase. My oily dehydrated acne prone skin loves this product. It just soaks in and has never pilled with any sunscreen I have used both chemical or mineral Even used it after my last laser treatment over Thanksgiving.
Love your content. Thank you so much. I've watched you for a few years and have enjoyed watching the evolution of your face and skin. You actually look more sculpted since the last video (especially the jaw and cheekbones), perhaps a different face shape (triangle now, less round than before). Gorgeous either way. What have you tried to make this change? Microcurrent, perhaps?
Wow learned something here .. those Biore Strips! I had no idea it causes broken capillaries.. and now I can see them under my nose 😢. Thank you for all your information in these videos, love the vlog style so much! ❤
Hi, I’m enjoying and learning from your skin care knowledge. Could you recommend skin care products for teenagers on a budget, and are active outdoors. Thank you
♥️Always So Much Valuable n Practical Information, it’s like going for a One on One Consult with your Wonderful Videos! Would you Consider talking more in depth about Delivery Systems with certain Ingredients n it’s importance🌹Thank you!✨
Hi, I recently discovered you, and I absolutely love your content. I immediately subscribed to your channel. I am in Charleston, South Carolina and recently went to a cosmetic dermatologist and she suggested I do a Tixel treatment. I don't think I've heard you mentioned Tixel yet, what are your thoughts on this treatment?
Hello gorgeous! I'm going to purchase the sunscreen and skin cream. If you could recommend a budget friendly skin exfoliation brand which would it be? Thank you for sharing these tips! 😊
Thank you so much! This is so helpful!! I love your videos, and LOVE your products. I was wondering however if you would also still recommend the SkinBetter Alto defense vitamin c? If you do would you like the intensive more than the original?
This was fantastic! Ty sooo much! I remember the 1st drug store vid u did! Glad there were no issues this time around with u getting booted out. Lol! 🤣😉
You have mentioned alastin. What is it. Who should use it and where you find it. Also the masks in the pouch . Are overnight masks like let’s say Laniage are better ? Which one is better? USA drugstore or Amazon Korean Scincare. Thank you. You look beautiful and inspiring.
Another great video! Thanks for commenting on the vitamin C! Now I know why my cerave one isn’t really doing anything… not the point of your video, but do you feel threadlifts are contraindicated in autoimmune patients? Or is it purely theoretical? Thanks for going to all this work to make great content!
I want to thank you dr.Stefani for such an informative content. I cant believe you look so beautiful, young and healthy at 46!! I think people trust you and would be amazing if we can somehow support you if you create your own cosmetic line. Im a 31 y.o. man and im so glad i found doctorly and your channel. So much information for free. Thats a real golden age of information. Stay hard! Oops it is not here😮 Stay young! This is more suitable😅
Thank you for all the tips!! Have been following your tips since I found you, during covid. And never looked back lol and my skin is Bomb ! Your word that I learnt from you lol ❤❤❤❤ ❤respect you so much ❤
Is tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate effective? What products from your line would be suitable for problem skin meaning both rosacea and acne prone but looking for anti aging elements?
I personally love THD ascorbate, have been using the Truth Treatments for years and it makes a significant difference in my skin with overall tone. Skincare is very personalized but I just wanted to give my opinion 😊
Thank you for the great video. Could you please address at-home Microcurrent devices? I’m hearing these may cause fat loss. It’s very confusing to understand if there is true risk. Thank you!!❤
Here is a secret for younger, wrinkle-free skin. When I was 14 years old, my Mom had a friend from Ghana, Africa her skin was like glass, not just her face everywhere. Her secret is using butter mixed with salt daily, leaving it on your whole body for 10 minutes, then rinsing it off. I started doing it, and the difference is night and day. It's cheap, and I've tried all the creams, but nothing comes close to it. I don't have a wrinkle.
Hi Dr, great video. I love eltamd sport (water proof formulation), but will try to look for a zinc 10% for medium tan skin tone since the zinc tends to make the formulas a bit chalky/leave white cast. Great information.
Yay! I just love your videos! So you did get thread lifts in your face? Is it too late for someone already in their 40s to do that? Noticing a loss of volume in my cheeks and under eyes. Would thread lifts help with that? I wish I could come see you. You’d help me look beautiful and feel confident in my skin. But I’m in IL😢 unless you know anyone good here you can suggest?❤
You mentioned that you use retinol in your full morning routine and I know you use it in your evening routine. Do you use retinol twice a day? I am looking forward to trying your retinol after having such a difficult time with other retinol products. Thank you for always taking such good care of us!
Wanted to ask about your opinion of Frownies? I have sensitive skin . Also, how are your products for this type of skin? I have an allergy to Balsam of Peru, which showed up on patch testing done at a dermatologist's office. It was not a strong reaction, however.
Love your videos. I wish I would be so lucky to win any of your products. They look like top quality products. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. ❤
question about medical grade vit c brands. i know you mention the air tight container and not a dropper. what are your thoughts about skinceuitcals vit c? with data and studies showing efficacy? its in a dropper and want to be sure its ok or if i medical grade in an air tight would be better? thanks 💕
Will you please continue making drug store skin care recommendations? This has been SO helpful ❤
Watching the video now, but wanted to say thanks for this budget friendly video for those of us who want great skin but have little funds to work with. Thanks!
Preach, girl!! With some of these medical grade skincare routines, we could have a range rover payment every month instead 😂😭
How has this women’s content not blown up?? Why am I just now finding her??
I know right , I discovered it a week ago shares with my friend and then she shared it with her sister , I love doctor Stephane ❤
I love this channel. No commercials, no sponsorships and in depth skin science. I've been into skincare for a few years now so I've seen every beginner video that's been made. I'm interested in getting into the science, -the why and how ingredients work. I think I've landed in the right place. ❤
You are my non-biased go-to for skincare education. Thank you for your generous sharing!! Can't afford bougie products but maybe one day...
Just found your channel two days ago and I've been binging. Learning so much behind the science of dermatology. It was not a topic of interest but I'm actually looking more into it. Thanks for the education.

I love your videos. Glad I found you. Your knowledge is impeccable.
One of my fave videos. My routine is a combo of drugstore and medical grade (hydrator) and tret :) i love her “nerdy” explanations 😂
Thank you so much Dr. Stefani Kappel for sharing your insights, wisdom, and advice here for us newbies who are on a budget. You are saving our face, youth, and body skin care!! I've never seen Elta MD in the drugstore

What kind of butter?
If i did this my skin whould fall off my face from the irritation and the inflamation after😀
THANK YOU for the tip!!
No thanks
O wow! How old are you now? What kind of butter????
Shea butter? Or like butter 🧈?
I love her content ❤

You mentioned that you use retinol in your full morning routine and I know you use it in your evening routine. Do you use retinol twice a day? I am looking forward to trying your retinol after having such a difficult time with other retinol products. Thank you for always taking such good care of us!
Sometimes, I use it twice a day, and I do it because I need more exfoliate and I’m over a certain age where natural cellular turnover dropped.
Thank you!
What about the collagen powders are they a must have in your diet?
Thank you @Dr Stefani Kappel for educating us this was very useful. Are you going to have your products shipped also in Italy? Would love to try them
Can you talk peels. I do a Jessners and TCA use great products and now ready for lasers. Learning so much from you ❤
Wanted to ask about your opinion of Frownies? I have sensitive skin . Also, how are your products for this type of skin? I have an allergy to Balsam of Peru, which showed up on patch testing done at a dermatologist's office. It was not a strong reaction, however.
Love your videos. I wish I would be so lucky to win any of your products. They look like top quality products. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. ❤
Which retinol do you put on during the day?
What about lathering on the organic caster oil to plump the crows feet. What are your thoughts on all the c oil hype
Thanks to you I will change my vitamin C serum. ❤
What product is good for scalp eczema? Is eye cream formulated with retinol ok to use on the under eyes? Love this video! Thank you Stefani!
question about medical grade vit c brands. i know you mention the air tight container and not a dropper. what are your thoughts about skinceuitcals vit c? with data and studies showing efficacy? its in a dropper and want to be sure its ok or if i medical grade in an air tight would be better? thanks 💕
What is your opinion on Timeless Vit C product? Good , Bad , so so??
