He basically said his VP is going to be a younger woman of colour so I don't think they are expecting for it to be Warren and we don't even know if Warren would accept that. Maybe if he's in a situation where he thinks it will make the difference between winning or not he might consider it but I think the plan has been since 2016 to have Nina as the VP. Bernie tends to hire people he thinks he can trust and I think he trusts Nina more than anyone else in politics. When you see them on stage together you can really see it.

Bernie is proposing guaranteed jobs to all Americans and increasing minimum wage across the nation. It's a good idea but will everybody accept this... no becuase we're in a time where robotics/technology are taking over the everyday jobs of retail workers and factory workers. I believe what Andrew Yang is proposing would be a better option for every American now, but also this could backfire as we don't know the future for this country. We need to give new ideas and new minds a try as opposed to these old white politicians taking over plus we need to test the waters more with new candidates who are more up to date as far as technology goes today.

But I realize that it would be weird if I agreed with any politician on all issues. This is a Yang/Bernie race IMO, for me anyway. All the other candidates are full of shit. They are the only 2 that are brutally honest and honesty is all we can ask for.
@@philcarpenter He's said in a few of his speeches that he's for it, but "gold plated" private plans would still exist. The goal would be to have such a good Medicare option, private would become obsolete. I will say that anyone thinking that the healthcare system can transition over night to M4A is kidding themselves. I have family in healthcare and the electronic records are STILL giving doctors a hard time. Also, the other inspiration countries for our new M4A system, all seem to have private coverage in addition to what is offered for the public coverage.

Elizabeth Warren’s medical plan doesn’t cover mental health, (it’s listed as affordable not free aka poor ppl will likely be assed out) only Bernie’s offers coverage here. Maintaining mental health and getting treatment from qualified experts is invaluable especially today. Pls share w/ ppl leaning Warren for whatever reason

When we are asking specific questions they clump us with other groups to throw us off.

I think Bernie understands that focusing on lifting up just one marginalised group only breeds reactionary hate and gives it fuel to spread, so making your policy agenda about helping everyone and alleviating inequality issues in every field is a lot more future-proofed and resistant to reactionary violence and opposition than for example focusing specifically on reparations for slavery. But if you look at what Bernie has done on a personal level you do see the Dr. King marches, the organising of Pride parades in Burlington in the 80s, the standing with Palestinians in the face of Israeli occupation/apartheid etc. The man fights for everyone, even when their interests do not align with his own whatsoever. I think that's what shows him to be beneficial to the black community in America, he's always focusing on fighting to make everyone's life better regardless of how politically expedient it is at that time instead of just casting some bait to reel strategically important marginalised voters in without addressing the structural causes of their struggles and marginalisation.

HR40 why do they have to study for our reparations but not Jews, native Americans, etc?
