@@BenMcKee Still haven't gotten a "round-to-it". Between kit orders and custom designs we just haven't had the time to get the windvane drawn up in plan form. It's at the top of the list though. Graham has just finished repairs to his roof from the last hurricane so i'll try to get him on it.
Don't hurry on my account. I use sheet to tiller when I need the boat to drive itself. It's just a cool project and I love it when those come to fruition.

Would this design work on a 33' full keel sailboat?

this is a great one!
Usually the flap on the windvane articulates a foil that pivots to provide force to steer your main rudder. Not this one
There are two ways to achieve this. One is not wrong or better.
