- Thank you for such a wonderful 2023! It has been my honor and pleasure to take you along for another year of farming with me. I truly learn something new every single day around here. So much would not be possible without you all and my incredible partners and sponsors. Grant and Gage deserve the world: they are always up for filming and make my life so much more fun. I cannot wait to see what 2024 holds! I'd love to hear about your goals, resolutions, things you're looking forward to, etc. I also want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the kind words, messages, cards, tributes, and prayers for my late grandfather. I heard the wind stopped one day in Nebraska and everyone fell over.
As someone who has gravel driveways, I recommend that the top layer of the driveway be what is called A/B limestone around here. Some call it 'crusher run'. It's basically a mix of the smaller rocks you got plus fine dust/dirt size. This fills in the gaps between the rocks and keeps them from imitating marbles as well as keeping them in place better. Of course, it's probably too late now, but you might consider trying it the next time you get rock.
