I bought same model in 2018 but in blue bezel for around $1600 in India. It's an excellent watch, very tough and compliment getter.
I hope you're still wearing your Oris. Your little dog is so damn cute. I bought the 39.5 version with the black sunburst dial and latex strap for about $1100 from Joma shop. It loses about 3 seconds per day out of the box which impressed me. I love the modern style and I'm still loving it after wearing it for a month.
I have the 2017 in blue. A great watch with plenty of presence and a great bracelet. I love it.
I have never bought a luxury watch, but I still ponder over it for weeks, before deciding if I should buy it or not. And ya, countless reviews. Good purchase 👍🏻. Wish their 2 stores here in Toronto closed. Lol

I have a 43mm quartz Sinobi homage of the Aquis which was just €15-16. Horrible quality of course and too light on the wrist, but it did teach me that I really want the Oris when I'm financially ready to just on a deal such as this one.
Today I'll wear my homage in honor of your purchase. I hope to join the Oris club some day :-)

Wow, that was a great price!! I have been wanting the Aquis in blue or black for a while. My local shop in Halifax N.S. has the new version with a sticker price of $2,700 CDN. They told me after talking for a while they would do $2,150, so you are super lucky to get that deal. Awesome pick up and video!
Was happy to pick one up a bit over a year ago. Worked at a jewelry store and we got everything at cost!! Did my research and ended up getting the 43.5mm sunburst blue dial and couldn't be happier. My first watch and let me tell you this thing is a tank! Costed me 1200 CAD, was only 21 at the time but well worth it. Second gen so there are a couple of changes, mainly the thinned down lugs and links and the edgier hands. favorite part about this watch: no numbers on the dials and a very clean looking watch. Im not a huge supporter of impulse buying watches, but the Aquis is a great piece. Ive seen it a bunch in pics and just got to see it in person. It's an amazing piece for $2000, and for half that its a steal. Amazing watch

Congrats on the Oris! I just bought the newer green dial, green bezel date model yesterday!! I was afraid of the fact, that i can only use certain bracelet or strap. But once i put ot on my wrist, i never looked back! Super comfortable, never need to change the bracelet! Also wears a lot smaller than 43.5 would make you think.. I LOVE IT! Se hi to Bond!

Oris watches are great, real quality, well made, amazing history and diverse versions. Fantastic value for that level, makes you question more expensive watches.
I bought the same watch with the rubber band from Touch of Modern. I paid around 800 US. Rubber band smells like vanilla, great watch enjoy!

I got it at an AD when I was Alberta, less tax! I love the watch. Amazing quality. I voted in the poll. Haha, glad you picked it up! Wow, congratulations Oleg ... that is one gorgeous Oris! Apart from the colours, I also love the bracelet on your new diver. You have much reason to feel happy. The Oris 65 has been on my wish list for a while now, but just too much for my budget at this time.
You are correct ... there is something exciting in buying a watch from a retailer again. I recently bought my Hamilton Day Date Pilot (a-la Interstellar) on 30% discount at a store here in Vancouver and, like you, really enjoyed doing that after shopping online for the past couple of years. Do you mind sharing the name of the store? My son is a student at U of T (obviously on a tight budget) and he loves watches too! He often tells me how he walks through Eaton Centre to check out all the watch boutiques :)

Hey Oleg! new to your channel, really like the content. Congrats on the Oris even though it’s now 1yr later. Looking at scoring a black bay 58 and an aquis myself in the next 12-18 months. Just wanted to point out something that looked off to me. I think all the 4 screws on the ‘crown side’ of the watch head are supposed to me winged screws while the opposite side is supposed to have 2 flat screws. It looks different in your video at 1:54 and 6:52. Maybe this is true for 2018 and newer models while yours is 2017. I don’t know. Like I said I’m looking to get an aquis and came across a few videos about spotting fake aquis’s as part of my research. Not saying yours is fake since it’s from an AD it’s not likely. Maybe the watch had a rubber strap and the AD put the stock bracelet on and accidentally used the wrong screws. Not a huge deal but it caught my attention so I thought I’d let you know. I follow Adrian of Bark & Jack and he sort of mentions a similar experience with a reputable AD in a recent video while buying a rolex sub. Anyways cheers and keep up the good work...props from a fellow Canadian.

I was going to buy the 43.5mm Green Aquis, but now i see they only have the Calibre400 5 days power reserve and 10 year warrantee for the 41mm green aquis and not for the 43mm...
SHOULD I WAIT??? Will Oris ever release a green Aquis at 43mm with calibre400 movement?

The Oris is a very good buy... Many people spend all their money on crap beer, that is full of high fructose corn syrup that is not even fermented...
The Invicta is still the coolest watch of your collection... It will be hard for you to beat your Invicta, but you're making an honest effort.

30 years ago, I was walking through a mall in Winnipeg, walked into Mappins (they're gone now) and 30 minutes later walked out with a GMT Master 16700, 25% off list, 1750.00 cdn. Try doing that now.

Sold it about 10 years ago, for just about double what I paid for it, wish I hadn't, but I wore that watch every day for 20 years, and aside from the expensive service cost, it was a great, reliable watch. As you know they're worth 6 times that now.... oh well. My Rolex days are over, and I'm ok with it. I have a dozen various micro brand divers and seikos....I'll be ok😩
