I’ve actually already heard it… thought it was a cool record but nothing super special but I did promise myself that I would check out more of her stuff in the future so I’m not completely opposed to her music her latest release just wasn’t for me
Thank you so much for making a Spotify playlist for everything, I've added a lot of your albums to my "to listen-to" list. You have a great selection of albums that are very diverse, and it's really nice to see your passion for music! Also really going to check out the Israeli group that was mentioned, glad I could find them on your list on Spotify! Also really happy to see Mavi, Your Arms Are My Cocoon, and Samlrc on the list! Out of curiosity, have you heard 3AM (LA LA LA) by Confidence Man ? It was described to me as 90's EuroBeat and it's one of my favourites of the year that I saw wasn't on your list and I thought you might enjoy!
@@vincentskater this made my day man thank you so much for this comment and for adding these albums 🙏🏼 I haven’t even heard of them not gonna lie I’ve never been into EuroBeat all that much but I always love a good recommendation so I will DEFINITELY be checking that out!
Well generally when it’s a new album I listen through streaming but if I’ve heard a lot of praise about an album I’ve heard of sometimes I’ll buy a physical copy and play on my record player but for the most part first listens are straight from the streaming app
@@arieldavidlevy her most creative album and if she wasnt mainstream people would appreicate it way more but most music nerds deduct points because somethings mainstream.
@@J.PC.Designs it’s soooo good they did such a wonderful job! I’m so disappointed it didn’t get nominated for an Oscar for best soundtrack such a missed opportunity
Also I'd say 2024's AOTY for me HAS to be Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To. My god this album has everything going for it. Genuinely mindblowing how it can go from hard hitters like Suffocate and Blinding Faith to more emotional songs like Sit & Mourn. And the riff on Slaughterhouse 2 is just so good. I also really like the atmosphere created by the synth that transitions between songs. Just that one detail alone is so small yet makes such a big impact.
@@arieldavidlevy Idk I don't really believe in award shows like the oscars or the grammys because there's too much art released to be able to quantify which is the best, and they don't really pick good nominees either.
@@J.PC.Designs i actually listened to that album but idk I couldn’t get into it like how others did I will say though that the instrumentation and the overall sound of the record was insanely well crafted I just couldn’t get behind the voice but I will revisit one day… there’s always got to be one or two albums a year where it just doesn’t click for me and that sadly didn’t
@@J.PC.Designsyeah in this day and age award shows aren’t really relevant but still would’ve liked to see it at least nominated… recognition is still recognition
@@carloslizarragaramos6564 I’ve actually listened to “Grasa” I originally had it in my top 100 but towards the end of the year it just fell short! Nevertheless I still like the album… “MANHATTAN” & “LA PRESA” were my favourites off that one
@@gigachad548 good album but there’s a good chunk of the album that just feels like filler and ultimately I didn’t love it as much as other rock releases from 2024 Plus Trench is so much better if anything I feel that’s an album that isn’t talked about enough
@@Vspfear I listened to #RICHAXXHAITIAN Mach-Hommy I didn’t really mess with it and Westside Gunn is also someone I’ve never really liked I think I may sadly have anti-Griselda syndrome 😭😭
I mean the music on my list is pretty diverse imo music is more diverse than it ever was. I will agree with you that you do have to do some digging but even then it’s not like music is super limited and condensed to a specific genre 🤷
