I was 9 years old, my dad was going to Switzerland on business, and before he left, he gave me and my brother a PS1 and NHL 98. Best day of my life.

I am a longtime Islanders fan and Jesus Christ; you got me so badly with the nostalgia here. These were the Islanders I idolized as a teenager. Ziggy Palffy, probably the greatest Islander of the mid-90's. Robert "Rocket" Reichel. Eric "Fish" Fichaud. Bryan Berard. Rich Pilon, who I actually met once. I was looking at those rosters and I was loving it. I absolutely loved the '98 version of the game.

it was the 97-98 holidays were i received a PS! with nhl 98 AND FF7...to this day its the BEST christmas gift ive EVER received or ever will....since im all alone in the world now...oh well it is what it is
