Not only is the Falls River Division is a fantastic layout, but John Parker is one of the best guys you will ever meet in our hobby! I’m honored to call him my friend for over 15 years!
Fantastic share thanks for doing the video lots of great scenery and ideas for sure. Glad you got to enjoy running some trains as well. Look like a lot of fun there. Have a great day and weekend 😎🚂🫵TSM
I was there on a non running day , so I had a great chat with John. The "Mushroom" benchwork style really gives you a sense of space, but you need the room for it. John has really captured distances, by cleaver use of Scenery dividers and something I will use more of on my new layout! You're right , John is a true gentleman , as are his fellow model railroaders in Dever. Look forward to you progress Cheers Gregg.
You’re right Gregg but what surprised me most was that there was still lots that can translate down to a much more modest layout too. All the best from the UK, Ian
Some truly amazing modelling has gone into that layout. And as you said lots of ideas we can incorporate into our own layouts. (Allbeit on a much smaller scale)
I am impressed with the level of details in this large layout, and there are several ideas that will give me a lot to think about, and I also love John's very subtle sense of humor that he inserted into a few areas with figurines.

You’re very lucky - I’m glad I had the opportunity to meet John and operate a train on his wonderful layout!
Excellent ideas and good direction then :D
Oh yes, lots of food for thought!

It’s certainly very impressive in all respects!
I feel like he has one of those model railroads we all hope to have some day :-)
Truly! But loads of lessons that can still apply to the layouts we have right now, thankfully!
Hi how are you doing today
