Wow! Dr. Hugh Ross leaves me stunned. I believe the Lord has a lot in store for him. And I can see that this great man is going to bring a lot of unbelievers to Faith. Set especially atheist physicists. I believe through his Ministry and teaching, a lot of people will come to Christ. Even Believers will be more faithful to Christ. Hallelujah! Amen. To God be the glory!
I have only recently heard of Hugh Ross, and I am so thankful for him 🙏 ❤ I too used to think that the 6 day creation made the earth look older than it is, l love what he said about that. God does not lie or deceive, and nature and God's word are not going to contradict each other!!! My faith has grown so much listening to him, and I am so much more excited about having faith in such an amazing awesome Creater. Thank you so much Grace Church for having him. Thank you Dr. Ross, God bless you and your family, and your ministry! I hope you will come and speak here in Hawaii!
For thousands of years humanity interpreted the 6 days of creation in the obvious and clear sense of 6 literal days. It's a good think Hugh Ross came along to remind us it actually means billions of years based on man-made secular scientific ideas.
@@jkadoodle you obviously have a bias that stems from what you've been taught. Hugh Ross has used exegesis of the word day, and other Scriptures to support his claim. And you don't know that men in ancient times held to a literal six 24 hour day of creation. Men also used to think that the world was flat. If a literal 24hr. 6 day creation account was such an important truth to our early church fathers they would have included it in the various catechisms, or doctrinal statements. And if you want to hold to a literal 6 days, then go ahead, it's not a matter of salvation. Hugh Ross is born again, and he shares the gospel throughout the world. God has used Hugh Ross in the science community. And many scientists have come to faith in Christ through his ministry!

I never really liked Anthology in college mainly because my knowledge was so lacking in comparison to what I've learned in the last few years by listening to Hugh Ross who explained the incredible inconsistencies an incomplete theories of a College professor. If I could time travel I'd study the rest Hugh Ross has gleaned for us and sit in that College classroom again with a smile on my face...For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 1 John 3:11
It gives me such joy to have a better understanding of days as God sees it. It's also very good to remember always that the Bibles books were written in other languages that aren't always easy to interpret or done correctly. Thank you, Hugh.
“Science investigates; religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge, which is power; religion gives man wisdom, which is control. Science deals mainly with facts; religion deals mainly with values. The two are not rivals.” ― Martin Luther King, Jr
I have head phones, but it would be nice to turn it up because I would like to play it on my phone to more then just me but my friend's and some of my family to hear. As if I send them the video, they may not watch it. Like my kids for instance, who are in there 20s and think they have for ever to believe or learn about god. So yes it would be nice if it was louder. Thank you and God bless
Hugh Ross changes the Bible according to Hugh Ross opinions Example he changes Genesis . God says death came by Adam’s sin Hugh Ross say no death happened for millions of years. . Hugh words instead of God’s word . Another Example He reject Noah’s flood as worldwide The church loves the lies instead of Biblical truth . God said he placed a rainbow in the sky to show humans he would not flood the world again . Rainbow is seen worldwide folks . Do you follow God’s Biblical truth or science word? Peter also describes the universality of the flood in 2 Peter 3:6-7, where he states, “By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.” In these verses Peter compares the “universal” coming judgment to the flood of Noah’s time and states that the world that existed then was flooded with water. Further, many biblical writers accepted the historicity of the worldwide flood (Isaiah 54:9; 1 Peter 3:20; 2 Peter 2:5; Hebrews 11:7). Lastly, the Lord Jesus Christ believed in the universal flood and took it as the type of the coming destruction of the world when He returns (Matthew 24:37-39; Luke 17:26-27). biblical passages regarding the flood make it clear that it was global. Genesis 7:11 states that “all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.” Genesis 1:6-7 and 2:6 tell us that the pre-flood environment was much different from that which we experience today. Based on these and other biblical descriptions, it is reasonably speculated that at one time the earth was covered by some kind of water canopy. This canopy could have been a vapor canopy, or it might have consisted of rings, somewhat like Saturn’s ice rings. This, in combination with a layer of water underground, released upon the land (Genesis 2:6) would have resulted in a global flood. The clearest verses that show the extent of the flood are Genesis 7:19-23. Regarding the waters, “They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet. Every living thing that moved on the earth perished-birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.” In the above passage, we not only find the word “all” being used repeatedly, but we also find “all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered,” “the waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet,“ and “every living thing that moved on the earth perished.” These descriptions clearly describe a universal flood covering the whole earth. Also, if the flood was localized, why did God instruct Noah to build an ark instead of merely telling Noah to move and causing the animals to migrate? And why did He instruct Noah to build an ark large enough to house all of the different kinds of land animals found on the earth? If the flood was not global, there would have been no need for an ark.
The Truth Will Set You Free flat earth nonsense and Mason religion is a lie as well . Go take airplane and see the Earth is a sphere . Flat Earth cult lolol
WHAT? Hugh Ross was in St. Louis in November???? Ack, I missed it!!! But I am SO glad to hear it. Please, bring him back again too. I will have to be diligent about checking his schedule I guess? Oh my!! Sorry, but I am so excited he was here, even though I am so sorry I missed it.
The old gentleman asked a good question @46:00 about the angels that came down to earth and mated with Earth women. I often wondered just how human are these angels that left their estate to mate with human women, was it right down to their DNA? Did they have a blood type, Why did God give them that ability? I know that the angels that visited Abraham ate food with him, did they digest the food like we do?
Ok, the question about miracles... and Dr. Ross responding with examples of fake healings in the US but authentic experiences abroad in the mission field where there are demonic barriers... There is a reason why God doesn’t hand out miracles and explicit actions authored by Him-at least not overtly. Simply, the more we see, the more is required of us. For example, if God does something overt in my life, and I know that God was responsible, yet I continue to walk in the flesh, I bring judgement on myself. It now becomes an open door for evil to torment me. Thus far, God seem very calculated on this being that it has an inverse relationship. More God overtly does it, more we are required to walk in holiness. If I walk in the flesh and God overtly answers my prayers for something, it would not be a good thing.
Here it is : Romans 1:20" For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Psalm 19 1-4: The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. Job 12:7-10 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you.
50mins Genesis 2:6 How do the sons of God procreate with the daughters of men when 1- they come from the spiritual realm into the physical realm and 2- the sons of God ( angels? ) according to Scripture, do not procreate. Unless they are fallen angels with the ability to cross over the spiritual/physical realm. Any thoughts would be appreciated
As much as I hate to admit this is why I love AI and who knows maybe Al won't be the devil if we teach it better I'm hoping and praying that's what this is doing right now
They were created brand new , no liver spots no chipped teeth, great cholesterol levels , blood pressure was just right , BRAND NEW, we don’t know exactly how they looked. since they were never children who aged as they grew up . When Adam became alive then he started aging , Judy my opinion though
Adults, but not aged. Prefect teeth, not sun spot and a like. Day is not the same as 24 hours, not in the past and not today. The earth is not 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day has not ended. Thus day 7 is a long time span, thus day 1 to 6 must be a long time span. Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is: Sunrise to sunset Sunset to next sunset Time period of unspecified length. Creationism does not equal young Earth. There are many Old Earth creationists.
It’s not a time problem it’s a distance problem. People want a supernatural GOD to fit in their science view. The Bible says GOD stretched out the heavens many times, he created the stars ⭐️ as lights to shine upon the 🌍 Earth. However he did it guess what he did it, even if it was instantly then he stretched out space then just except it.

Dr Ross - so you believe we have a soul/spirit that lives on after our physical death…even though Jesus tells us in the Bible more than 60 times what the state of the dead is…and then gives us the true story of Lazarus to validate that teaching. The Bible tells us, “The dead know nothing” and when Jesus returns He first will raise “the righteous dead.” I believe you’re seriously mistaken. Upon death, we go to the grave and await Jesus’ return. That’s 100% biblical.
You have the timing wrong, Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses," 1 Corinthians 15:20, 20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. The are not active now this the point. Luke 23:42-43 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. 43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” They are with Jesus. You are to look at all the Bible before calling one seriously mistaken.

@@djsarg7451 I'm not faulting you for believing in an old Earth. I believe we can disagree on peripheral points like this. Dr. John MacArthur has an excellent exegetical explanation in support of a young a Earth. When it comes to the Earth being billions of years old I just don't think the scriptures are there and I do not believe that the science is there neither. I feel like it is an attempt to throw the evolutionist a bone. If you believe in theistic evolution then I would disagree with you. But I don't think that's the case.
Teenagers will hear the first 5 seconds and the rest is just blah blah blah. I’ve had 7 teens (4 of them right now). All a parent can do is to layer their children with the Word (think about draping a blanket over your teen/covering your teen with the blood of Jesus) a verse at a time. That’s what my mom did with me. I was angry with her. But one day it clicked. For me, it clicked.
The earth is only 6,000+ yrs old. Why do you think there is ZERO world history prior to Adam, who according to biblical lineage, was created in 4,157 bc.

*Evolution Vs CreationISM* One would think from the 20 million google hits that this debate involves fiercely opposing explanations for the same significant events. But this dichotomy is utterly false for the following reasons: *1.* Evolution is merely a theory about how pre-existing lifeforms change while the latter is broadly defined as a belief that a supernatural reality brought into existence all time, space and matter by an act of freewill. 2 A more apt title might be Evolution Vs Religion or Evolution Vs Bible. 3 Even more specifically, If the cynics are honest, what it’s really about is *Darwinism Vs Genesis.* And in particular their clever ploy to attack fundamentalism’s young earth and 6 day creation literal narratives. 4. The latter however, may well be allegorical since we are still in the 7thday of Creation according to Genesis 2:2, Psalm and 105 Hebrews 4. *5.* The Bible is not one book, but a library of 66 books written in most literary genre. What it isn’t, is a book on 20th century science. 6.As Galileo said _“the Bible teaches us how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go.”_ *7.* to argue for the scientific validity of Darwinian theory by strawmaning a non-scientific religious passage is about as laughable and dishonest as it gets. It is a complete non sequitur which suggests there is far more at stake than an insignificant _”a bunch of selfish genes living in a world of pitiless indifference.”_ *8.* According to one honest, well decorated, atheist and evolutionary biologist, “no matter how counter intuitive or patently absurd its constructs (his science)….materialism is absolute for we cannot allow a divine foot in the door” RC Lewontin _Billions and billions of Demons_ For many evolutionists like Lewontin, allowing for intelligence or design are abhorrent! But these are EXACTLY what we observe! *9.* The only thing that opposing views have in common, is they are both depend on faith-based assumptions. *10* Despite the title, Darwinian theory says nothing about creation events or origins. It is merely a blind, bottom up, mindless, unguided process that assumes simple molecules given an impossible brief, produced a very intelligent, conscious being like us, by--- “common descent” and NOT heaven forbid, Common Design. 11. An absolute beginning for all time. Space and matter is actually a religiously neutral statement but has atheist cosmologists fantasizing about how natural forces produced all of nature in the finite past. *12.* Both Science and religious Gen 1:1 have to account for the miracle of Creation ex nihilo. *13.* Despite the knockdown claim that “evolution is a fact”, there is much debate e.g. in the “Evolutionism” series of videos to indicate it is anything but. *14* Only within theism do we have the necessary intellectual framework to explain existence from non existence and thus why we have a finite, awe-inspiring, rationally intelligible, abstract law-abiding, life-supporting universe . *15.* The real problem is I suggest, not an intellectual one but a moral one. As CS Lewis observed, _“an atheist cant find God for the same reason a thief cant find a policeman.”_ *16* No matter what your starting worldview is. the above points to a miraculous beginning making us all creationists
I'm sorry, but this gentleman seems to always choose contemporary man's so-called "science" over the Bible at most points of apparent conflict. As an example, in the 36th minute of the video, he mentions dating the age that man has been on Earth by reference to (female-inherited) mitochondrial DNA and (male-inherited) Y chromosome information. He says (science) used to think these were reasonable methods to date the age of man, but that within the last ten years, science has abandoned those means as not very helpful or accurate. Take an in-depth look at the latest work by Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson. He has been able to use the Y chromosome studies to show that at the rate of Y chromosome mutations, the Bible's approximately 6,000 years of history matches up perfectly well, without the unbelievers' claim to need extra 10s or 100s of thousands of years. If Jeanson's case is true, it destroys non-Biblical "science" dating "methods" for the age of man. OF COURSE, anything in science pointing toward confirmation of aspects of the Bible WILL BE rejected by man (without love of the truth and of God). It is more than disheartening to hear Dr. Ross throw in yet again with "science" over the truth of the Word of God and true scientific investigation. Disheartening for those lapping up these non-Biblical ideas in churches across the country as though this were the spoken or written oracles of God.
Agreed, today was the first time he has popped up on my feed and I was tracking with him for awhile, then he seemed to derail several times. Then did it some more. I am in complete disagreement with him on several issues. I think he is trying to force fit his pre believer training into the Biblical narrative. I believe if God wanted us to read thousands and millions of years, he would have said so.
@@MrStevo635 God did say so! The Heavens declare the Glory of God through the Book of Nature. You just don't want to hear it for some reason. The Bible does not tell us the age of the Earth anywhere at all. You have allowed someone to teach you ill-educated Folklore Theology. Does the Sun revolve around the Earth as was taught by the Church until 1825 because that is what the Bible stated according to the period specific experts claimed? Does it? Of course not. Since in fact the Bible did not change, why was that nonsense abandoned? The Book of Nature (science) changed. Are we to wait another 1800 years for this YEC stuff to cease? You said it yourself, "If Jeanson's case is true". Well, It is NOT! Mic drop. Done. It's rejected because it is scientific nonsense, not because of some "conspiracy"! Did you research and answer your own "if" question? Did you read his book? Have you read any legitimate arguments from qualified Christion experts that refute his claims? - No. How about secular scientist rebuttal’s? - No. Well I have and as usual with the YEC camp, nonsense spoken by an extremely intelligent and educated man is still, nonsense! Yet, you comment here as if his work is all a matter of fact, why? Why do you bear false witness against Dr. Ross? Do you even know who Dr. Ross is or what he has accomplished over the last 50 years? Have you met him? Have you shared a meal with him? Yet you judge him based on what? A single live time constrained presentation given at a wonderful Church? Have you read any of his 20+ books? @@MutsPub you wrote a whole lot to say a bunch of nothing, for me, when God says a day, he simply means.....wait for it....a day. Believe what you want. In 50 years (if you are a believer in Jesus) we will both know who was right and we can discuss it in heaven.
@@MrStevo635 According to you, Quote, “ when God says a day, he simply means.....wait for it....a day.” Seriously? So you are saying that you do not need the context to determine the meaning of the word for “day” in Genesis 1? Yes sir a “day” is certainly a “day”! - Brilliant! "Believe what you want." is ridiculous. The use of the word “day” doesn't have to be.....wait for it..... a 24 hour period of time, even in English, now does it! Just like the Hebrew word for “day” (yom), used in the Genesis Creation account, does not have to mean a 24 hour period either. In fact, we are given four literal definitions of the word “yom” in the first two chapters of Genesis. That is of course unless you need “yom” to mean 24 hours in order to adhere to an agenda driven bias! 1) It can mean part of the daylight hours. My project took the better part of the day to finish. 2) It can mean all the daylight hours. I got up at Sunrise and worked all “day” because I needed the light. 3) It can mean 24 hours. The adhesive needed 24 hours to cure, so I let it sit all “day”. 4) It can mean a long but finite period of time. Back in the “day” the Egyptian Pharaohs reigned over a large Empire. Instead of “Believe what you want”. How about you give an accurate accounting of the text. How do you suggest we get people to John 3:16 when you can't get them past Genesis 1? Is that the great commission? To every man an answer, right?
Better for Joe to pilgrim himself out and make a private visit to spend time with Dr. Ross rather than having to put the mask of God ON while live on podcast.
No it is not: Biblical Hebrew a small vocabulary than English. In biblical Hebrew, there is no word for universe. Instead, the Hebrew phrase that is translated “the heavens and the earth” is used to refer to the universe-the entirety of physical reality. The phrase is used thirteen times in the Old Testament, always referring to all matter, energy, space, and time the universe. We now know that event was 13.787 ±0.020 billion years. This has been checked, proven and measured with many tools and they all agree. It is not just space that came to be 13.787 billion years ago, but time also. The universe is finite and expanding. Just as the Bible stated thousands of years ago. To deny the existence of a Creator is an error. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 “But test everything; hold fast what is good.” Faith is not blind Faith is reasonable Faith is “preponderance of evidence” Faith does not demand 100% proof, because we live our live every day with out 100 % proof of many things.
Hugh Ross changes the Bible according to Hugh Ross opinions . First Hugh changes Genesis to say death happened for millions of years . Bible says death came into the world when Adam’s sinned . Example Hugh rejects Noah’s flood as worldwide The church loves the lies instead of Biblical truth .
Old Earth Creation Guy cannot have any death before Adam . The deeply contrary to biblical Ross believes . Sadly Tucker chases false things Things Dr Hugh Ross believes that are utterly contrary to Biblical truth 1)Noah’s Flood was a local event. 2)Sin has only a regionally limited effect on the world. 3)Man-like creatures that behaved much like us-and painted on cave walls-existed before Adam and Eve, but didn’t have a spirit and thus had no salvation. 4)The record of nature is just as perfect as the Word of God the Bible . Avoid the wickedly false like Hugh Ross
Old Earth Creation Guy You are not a person who trust the Bible as the arbitrator of truth . You chase philosophies of men. .. Science is not absolute nor is nature . Science is ever having to change it theories. And nature is in a constant state of change . So fools cram science into the Bible and in this change what God said to what Hugh Ross and other said . You are not satisfied with what God said . Let the Bible speak and shut up with men’s philosophies. They are of the folly of fools . For hell is the end to those who do as Hugh does and think they are God and can speak what God never said . They have a foundation is of sinking sand . Science is their God and seems to be yours as well . Professing to be wise they became fools .
Old Earth Creation Guy the issue of animals population matters not . The biblical truth is what matters . Again Hugh Ross changes the Bible and that is absolutely blasphemy. Science sadly has polluted his mind and yours . He still is pushing much of the lies of evolutionary science . The age of Earth they demand to be old so they can keep up the Charade of millions and millions of years . DNA degrades at 10,000 years yet in recent times DNA has been found in Dinosaur fossil. Proof they cannot be millions of years old . Ancient people made perfect images of dinosaurs . Cannot make a image of a dinosaur unless they seen them . The Bible Job speaks of a dinosaur. Hugh Claims it just a hippopotamus. He omits the verse “has a tail like a cedar “ .. Ken Ham and Kent Hovind speak biblical truth and unlike Hugh Ross they do not twist scripture . Hugh Ross calls God a failure . God it seems gad to try over and over to get creation right . They utter stupidity of Hugh of cave man without souls . Lololol Hello there were no cave man . Only humans that lived in caves because it is a ready made shelter . Hugh just makes stuff up .
Old Earth Creation Guy what? The fool of the video is Hugh Ross . Sadly you are another who loves those who twist scripture into a lie . Interpretation is also another term to twist Biblical truth . It really is saying the Bible cannot be absolute . Sadly the plain scripture offend you and Ross . Again there was no death before Adam sinned . Therefore there was not any span of millions of years of animals dying . No cave man without souls . Hey dude please where does Hugh get that junk from? He makes it up . The world God flooded completely scripture plainly says . Hugh say Antarctica had no life lololol so God did not need to flood it lolol Dude is in a cult .. The Earth environment was different before the flood . Scripture no rain had fallen in the Earth . Oh and Recent news Antarctica was once warm.
Old Earth Creation Guy Hello sadly you do not know biblical truth . First the garden of Eden was a separate place from here . God made Adam and Eve leave . Garden of Eden still exist God said angels are placed at it’s entrance . There is not here . Seeking Biblical truth and stop seeking men philosophies.
I saw that too. But he does have alot invested in Hughes books and DVDs , maybe cassettes too. I don't think I will be ordering any..... BTW, I have never been able to read a newspaper by morning Venus light.
I admire Dr. Ross's intellect, however I'am a young earth believer. What shall we say then when God will create the new heaven and new earth? Will it take millions or billions of years? I don't think it will. God speaks great events in "time", e.g. 7-year tribulation, 1000-year Millennial reign of Christ, etc. Revelation 21 :: NIV. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. In this vision, John saw the new heaven and new earth fully formed. God is not bounded by time, therefore He can do things that are not time dependent, though have the appearance of time. God can speak things that are not as though they were. Romans 4:17 - (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Selah! Dr. Wilson
@@iscoalcaron16 Simply, an extraordinary long time to create the current earth and universe, will it take God an extraordinary long time to create the new heaven, and new earth? Rev. 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. During the end time the bible clearly speak of events happening in quantifiable years, i.e., 7 year tribulation, 1000 year millennial reign, and binding the devil. It is my belief the new heaven and new earth will be more spectacular than the current creation, and will likely take less time (less than six literal days) since man is already created. God created Adam and eve with the appearance of age. He also created the universe with the appearance of age. Dr. Ross's presentations are an excellent expose' of astro-physics. Yet God created and governs the laws of the universe, and is not bounded by long periods of time. However he caused the appearance of the physics and physical dynamics as the anatomy of the universe. The current world will be annihilated instantly, and then the new heaven and earth will be created in hardly any time at all. The physics are true, and the word of God is true. It is a matter of believing in the evolution of the universe, or the miraculous creation of the universe. Old earth creationist must defend their literature, which benefits us all in understanding the universe itself, but does not defend this marvelous and miraculous event. Exodus (20:9-11) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.” ----------------- "When God the Father, in the power of God the spirit through, by, and for Christ as God the Son, remakes the heavens and the earth, the One who didn’t need six days to make the first universe, the Supreme Being who had a theological purpose in using the original six days, will no longer have any ‘need’ to use “six days” to make the future heavens and earth. Never forget He had the power to make the first one in the blink of an eye, but his 6 day plan was in anticipation of every option in the future of Creation, the coming of sin, fallen man’s need for a sinless saviour and His own resurrection from the dead. All such needs will be gone in the new heavens and the new earth. In fact it will be fair to say the destruction of this planet by God’s judgment of using fire upon men also recorded in the book of Revelation, will take longer than the remaking of the new heavens and new earth by the same Jesus who turned water into wine by the power of his Word. So challenge time! Are you looking forward to a place where there will no longer be any shedding of tears? All sin, suffering and sorrow will have gone, for the former things will have passed away and everything will be new (Revelation 21- 22). The curse will be no more and the last enemy, death, will be defeated. Your only other option is eternity in the hell prepared for the devil and his angels who rebelled against the Almighty Creator to make the 6 days of Genesis into millions of years, and encourage us to spiritualize away the new heaven and earth. I met Dr Ross in the 1970’s when he taught a brilliant class at our church. He does take considerable bruises for his old earth views. It’s good that you and so many young earth believers can see past this disagreement and appreciate the depth of his ministry. He is doing amazing work and reaches an entire sector the church rarely speaks to, and does this brilliantly.
@@Bmwguy2011 Jonathan, thank you for your reply. Dr. Ross is a remarkable person. However, he may be in error when interpreting the bible. His knowledge of how physics work is unquestionable. But he may not be giving God full credit for the miraculous work he has done in 7 literal days, and may need to give an account for this. I pray it is not a situation where a lot is resting on his published books and reputation. Changing ones viewpoint discredits all the books and literature they have written.
@@baruch4401 In several of his other videos he goes to great detail explaining the first six “days” of creation. He references the original Hebrew word of “Yom” having 3-4 different meanings. The English translations do not account for this. Perhaps this will shed more light on his position. Additionally, time was needed for many requirements of supporting life since the universe was created. ‘Fine tuning’ as he refers to it.

Set especially atheist physicists. I believe through his Ministry and teaching, a lot of people will come to Christ. Even Believers will be more faithful to Christ. Hallelujah! Amen.

1) It could also have been demon possessed men mated with the women.
2) DNA, blood type, "that ability", digestion. - These are Not possible to know.
It’s kind of strange how Ross is the only person to read Genesis and come to the conclusion that the days didn’t mean ordinary days.
Often I’ve heard you mention The Book of Nature. Pardon my ignorance but what is it? I’d like to read it. Thank you
The book of nature is not a book, its the natural world (universe) that can be observed, studied etc.
Here it is :
Romans 1:20" For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky.
This explains incrediblehorse human relationships and if horses are abused they don't rain easily or well

Fallen angels
They would have to leave their former estate as angels then take on the form of a man.
As much as I hate to admit this is why I love AI and who knows maybe Al won't be the devil if we teach it better I'm hoping and praying that's what this is doing right now
If God never creates with the appearance of age, how do you explain Adam and Eve being created as adults?
Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is:
Sunrise to sunset
Sunset to next sunset
Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ).
We use the word day the same today: In my grandfather’s day cars did not go very fast.
Deuteronomy 33:15 and Habakkuk 3:6 "ancient mountains".
Gen. 2:4 “in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens”
The events of day 6 can n ot have happened in 24 hours.
Have you entered into the 7th as Hebrews 4:9-10 asks you to?
Creationism does not equal young Earth. There are many Old Earth creationists.
cant hear

You have the timing wrong, Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,"
1 Corinthians 15:20, 20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
The are not active now this the point.
Luke 23:42-43
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. 43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
They are with Jesus.
You are to look at all the Bible before calling one seriously mistaken.
How old did Adam look? How old was he on his first day? Did he look like a baby?
No, he was made a man.
@@SamytheGreek exactly!
You assume that because he was tall that would be a sign of his age. Neither Adam nor Eve were born from a womb.
Adult, but not aged.

Biblical lineage, which one? There is more than one and there are gaps !

Creationism does not equal young Earth. There are many Old Earth creationists.
*Evolution Vs CreationISM*
One would think from the 20 million google hits that this debate involves fiercely opposing explanations for the same significant events. But this dichotomy is utterly false for the following reasons:
*1.* Evolution is merely a theory about how pre-existing lifeforms change while the latter is broadly defined as a belief that a supernatural reality brought into existence all time, space and matter by an act of freewill.
6.As Galileo said _“the Bible teaches us how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go.”_
*7.* to argue for the scientific validity of Darwinian theory by strawmaning a non-scientific religious passage is about as laughable and dishonest as it gets. It is a complete non sequitur which suggests there is far more at stake than an insignificant _”a bunch of selfish genes living in a world of pitiless
indifference.”_
*8.* According to one honest, well decorated, atheist and evolutionary biologist, “no matter how
counter intuitive or patently absurd its constructs (his science)….materialism is absolute for we cannot allow a divine foot in the door” RC Lewontin _Billions and billions of Demons_ For many evolutionists like Lewontin, allowing for intelligence or design are abhorrent! But these are EXACTLY what we observe!
*9.* The only thing that opposing views have in common, is they are both depend on faith-based assumptions.
*10* Despite the title, Darwinian theory says nothing about creation events or origins. It is merely a blind,
bottom up, mindless, unguided process that assumes simple molecules given an impossible brief, produced a very intelligent, conscious being like us, by--- “common descent” and NOT heaven
forbid, Common Design.
11. An absolute beginning for all time. Space and matter is actually a religiously
neutral statement but has atheist cosmologists fantasizing about how natural
forces produced all of nature in the finite past. *12.* Both Science and religious Gen 1:1 have to account for the miracle of Creation ex nihilo.
*13.* Despite the knockdown claim that “evolution is a fact”, there is much debate e.g. in the
“Evolutionism” series of videos to indicate it is anything but.
*14* Only within theism do we have the necessary intellectual framework to explain existence from non existence and thus why we have a finite, awe-inspiring,
rationally intelligible, abstract law-abiding, life-supporting universe
. *15.* The real problem is I suggest, not an intellectual one but a moral one. As CS Lewis observed, _“an atheist cant find God for the same reason a thief cant find a policeman.”_
*16* No matter what your starting worldview is. the above points to a miraculous beginning making us all creationists

Faith is pretending to know what you really don't know. Sort of lying.
No it is not:
Biblical Hebrew a small vocabulary than English.
1 Thessalonians 5:21
“But test everything; hold fast what is good.”
Faith is not blind
Faith is reasonable
Faith is “preponderance of evidence”
Faith does not demand 100% proof, because we live our live every day with out 100 % proof of many things.
Hugh Ross changes the Bible according to Hugh Ross opinions . First Hugh changes Genesis to say death happened for millions of years . Bible says death came into the world when Adam’s sinned .
Example Hugh rejects Noah’s flood as worldwide
The church loves the lies instead of Biblical truth .
Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.”
In the above passage, we not only find the word “all” being used repeatedly, but we also find “all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered,” “the waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet,“ and “every living thing that moved on the earth perished.” These descriptions clearly describe a universal flood covering the whole earth.
Old Earth Creation Guy cannot have any death before Adam . The deeply contrary to biblical Ross believes .
Sadly Tucker chases false things
Things Dr Hugh Ross believes that are utterly contrary to Biblical truth
1)Noah’s Flood was a local event.
Lololol
Hello there were no cave man .
Seeking Biblical truth and stop seeking men philosophies.
it's funny watching this pastor drink the koolaid
What do you mean?
Selah!
Dr. Wilson
May I politely ask what your point is in summary?
@@iscoalcaron16 Simply, an extraordinary long time to create the current earth and universe, will it take God an extraordinary long time to create the new heaven, and new earth?
Rev. 21:1
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
“For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.”
-----------------
"When God the Father, in the power of God the spirit through, by, and for Christ as God the Son, remakes the heavens and the earth, the One who didn’t need six days to make the first universe, the Supreme Being who had a theological purpose in using the original six days, will no longer have any ‘need’ to use “six days” to make the future heavens and earth.

‘Fine tuning’ as he refers to it.
he get dissapointed from science and enter to religion
Why?
Biblical Hebrew a small vocabulary than English.
