Me and my Son work together. During slow work days he walks around listens to these creepypastas. We was listening to one the other day strangers on a Subway. I asked who is this. He is the musician that always puts out hits, the ballplayer who always scores, the cook whose food is always amazing. Never fails!
Most creepypasta stories in general are garbage with a few gems here and there. But his narrating/composing is so damn good. This is the only channel I can even watch, he spoiled me.
There are a few I don’t care about, and a few I don’t like. But the care he puts into each reading is what I‘m here for, and I made a playlist of my absolute favorites.
Ronnie, your taste in picking stories is generally great. I like well over 90 % of them, and the rest I‘m mostly ok with. Show me any other channel that tickles my fancy with a success rate of over 95 %. It’s gonna be hard. You’re one of my favorite channels, and each piece is well worth the wait. =D
This story had so much potential to be much longer, such an interesting concept.

Definitely one of my all time faves. First heard it from Creepy Pasta Jr. like 10 years years ago. I would say this is top 5 of all time. There's no one else more equipped to revisit this for the next generation! Gristers would be another good one to revisit.

Such a classic and one of my favourites. Had to listen to it again with Dark Somnium's audio quality. Top notch. 👍 It's such a shame the author remains anonymous till this day. Would have loved to read what other stories are floating around in their mind.

Getting a super happy ad at 15:38 when he says “what the hell?” Threw me off so hard
I’ve often had dreams of going to other worlds. Some are very vivid, some not so much but I’ll never forget the dream I had where I went to a world that had purple leaves on their trees, the ground was an aquamarine. The sky was kind of a mix of lavender with some yellow from their sun. They had homes that looked similar to the ones we have. I was approached by a girl and while I can’t remember her to the T, she had a grayish blue complexion, purple braided hair, white eyes and was very friendly. She looked me up and down and said “You’re not from here, how did you get here?” I didn’t respond. “You shouldn’t stay, they will miss you.” She said with a smile as she held up her hand all I remember after that was everything going white and waking up. I never forgot that dream and I don’t think I ever will for the rest of my days.
u need to have recording your dream every time could maybe record something that's not a dream

I was working the other day and one of the fellows I was working with was listening to this very creepypasta. I asked who is this. I was told by my son its The Dark Somniun. I found him on UA-cam. So to say I'm a Subscriber lol. Looking forward to hearing more from this man

There is something a little scary about subways at noon on Monday. Stories that take you to the end of the line are bound to be creepy. This story had a nice build and the protagonist was likable. Nice narration as always. ✌

I heard this story before, but I really like it. I wish there was a continuation of this story because I’m dying to see this world being fleshed out, seeing the many places they go.

If anyone is interested, another very talented horror story narrator wrote a fan sequel to this story. His name on UA-cam is Tenbond. It's called "The Strangers 2"
It is interesting hearing this story narrated by Dark Somnium. Both narrators give this story an extremely different tone and make the protagonist feel way different.

Lately my favorite thing to do is put on one of your narrations during my 20-ish minute drive to the grocery store (I live out in the middle of nowhere and my work schedule means I have to hit up a store that stays open late as opposed to the local small town places that close before I get off). Driving through the dark on a remote country road that runs through fields and scrub brush and past abandoned old houses is so much better with a scary story on the radio. ❤

Idk if this is intentional but OP us written off as such an annoying entitled brat. You followed a complete stranger to so many places not knowing what awaits you potentially just being extremely creepy. The stranger tells him he won't be able to leave and OP proceeds to get angry at him. You fuxked around and found out you have no one but yourself to blame.
He goes onto these other worlds being the stranger while still maintaining that everyone around him is just disgusting not thinking for a second that they're just as terrified of you as you are of them but he still thinks he gets to walk around and destroy these worlds because he messed up and ended up in one of them and he acts as if this is the noble thing to do.
That being said, great narration as always.

Did this guy actually just say, "I lived in New York, contact my mum through the phone books, when she has a super generic name." My guy, you lived in the biggest city in the world, give a borough or something? "I lived in Manhattan/Brooklyn" would be far more useful.

Just as @Kingspook did to another all-time, top-notch tale, “Mrs. Willison's Homemade Jam”, before he wiped much of his stellar channel!! Having, The Dark Somnium, who's tied at the top spot for me as my fav narrator, with a couple others, narrate these two phenomenal tales, is an ABSOLUTELY IRRESISTIBLE invitation to indulge in this EPIC TREAT of a story, yet again!! I never tire if it! I've listened to this one be done by so many talented narrators, but this is an extra special treat this time!!! I've been saving his telling of, “Mrs. Willison's Homemade Jam”, but I might give in tonight, as I have a missing kitten, and haven't had a good day.... In a long time... The Dark Somnium has been a balm for my anxiety, and insomnia for ages, and I'm lucky to hear so many epic stories here! Both originals, and classics are a sure bet, EVERY single time, on this stellar channel!!!
