Horror stories are notoriously populated by people that make horrible decisions. The audience is populated by people claiming they wouldn't make those same mistakes. In this story, I try to make people ask themselves "Am I completely sure I wouldn't?" Nobody knows what they'd do to make their dreams come true until they're put to the test. If you think you're sure though, don't say it too loudly. The Crossroads are calling. P.S. The pronunciation is meant to be veh-DAHL-yah, so it sounds more eastern European and less like the onion.

Brought to a breaking point, in hope your life turns for the better, desperation can lead you down paths you never thought to tread.
This was so beautifully written and narrated. It’s so rare to find a channel that chooses their stories with such care *and* puts so much effort into the voice acting
This story was an emotional rollercoaster the doctor wasn’t a bad man truthfully, it was just a series of unfortunate events that forced his hands. Truly though my heart hurt at just how sad the ending was. Poor thing was brought to life Solely to be with this man. They were quite literally linked her first breathe was taken as he took his last and now she’s alive with no purpose alone and lost in a world she knows nothing of. This is just a tragedy from beginning to end… and I won’t be sleeping well tonight thx 😢

Right? He wanted to find a match and was pulled into something he didn’t understand and couldn’t get out. He was trying to keep himself from dying while also trying to get a soulmate. Plus, even though he had his issues, he clearly had good intentions. He wanted to help people and make people happy. Also, can we please talk about the fact that he was literally being sexually harassed? His assistant was horrible, and I hate that she technically won in the end.

Interesting having the main character not be yourself, while you still voice the meta character of the narrator. Not a bad choice. It gives the impression that you and your channel are omniscient and can understand all of the stories that you tell.

Great story! I liked how Charles and Vidalia were the same in that they both originally wanted to do and be something very different to how they ended up. I wonder if that's why she seemed to have some compassion towards him at the end?

DS, this was so beautifully narrated. I loved it but it left me feeling sad and angry. The doctor died before even seeing his angel come to life while that awful skank gets to live and spin a narrative that is a complete lie. On top of that the poor angel comes to life only to not even get to meet the person who brought life into her and she didn't even get a name. Its just so unfair. My compliments to the author. I was enthralled beginning to end.

This was so beautiful, sad and immersive. I can really relate to the doctor, heartbroken and hardened by bad experiences, looking for love and given his everything to get it. And to achieve it just before he died was... Brutal but fitting. Amazingly written and voice-acted. It definitely became one of my favorite stories. I love this story on reflection. The artist herself could be a representation on his inner conflict. Of the vision of true beauty that one knows will never manifest in the material world is haunting and relatable.

I actually feel sorry for the guy in this one. It's a story of everyone sucks here. Seems like the main character would've been unhappy no matter what he chose. I love how mystical this story felt. It was archetypal and timeless. Plus, from one adhd person to another, these stories help me get through so many mundane tasks. You've ruined me for so many other narrators. You really are good at picking those stories that go the extra mile. I love how you choose ones that cross genres. Are there any other narrators that pick similar a stories that aren't straight up horror or lists of rules? Also would love to get your book recommendations. I imagine you've some good ones as someone who seems to like stories with more meat on them.

You must've been a radio drama director or something in your past life (if indeed those exist). The amount of work you put into each production with the beautiful music, sound effects, narration and voice casting just takes it so much beyond just narrating.

This was so beautiful, sad and immersive. I can really relate to the doctor, heartbroken and hardened by bad experiences, looking for love and given his everything to get it. And to achieve it just before he died was... Brutal but fitting.

holy fuck, man i have been watching your stuff for a long time and i'm not going to pretend like this isn't the story that has touched me the most, almost on tears rn, can relate in some ways to the doc, also first story i managed to fully imagine in my head fluently, you did amazing mate, props to the writer aswell, what a masterpiece.

I love this story on reflection. The artist herself could be a representation on his inner conflict. Of the vision of true beauty that one knows will never manifest in the material world is haunting and relatable.
Alex has such a great writing style, similarly to 'the last man of faith' it wasnt as creepy as other stories may be, but it made up for that by being a damn good listen.
Also massive kudos to you Ronnie, glad to see you're approaching 700k!!! You deserve each and every one of those subscribers because your channel is really something special in terms of narrations with consistent high quality audio and sound design, as well as numerous other narrators to play different characters!

I actually feel sorry for the guy in this one. It's a story of everyone sucks here. Seems like the main character would've been unhappy no matter what he chose.
I love how mystical this story felt. It was archetypal and timeless.
Plus, from one adhd person to another, these stories help me get through so many mundane tasks. You've ruined me for so many other narrators. You really are good at picking those stories that go the extra mile. I love how you choose ones that cross genres. Are there any other narrators that pick similar a stories that aren't straight up horror or lists of rules? Also would love to get your book recommendations. I imagine you've some good ones as someone who seems to like stories with more meat on them.
