The biggest problem with REDFALL was not, and I repeat, was not the 30FPS. It is the horrible AI. Since they updated the game to 60FPS you honestly won't notice any differences. They completely forgot to update the damn AI which is insane.
The amount of bugs, bad game design choices, and oversights are also factors. I encountered a bug yesterday that caused my game to crash. I also hate how 5 of the achievements are locked behind online, and one of them is not very fun to do solo.
My issues with Redfall are:
No matchmaking
The loot is boring
No reason to explore
I enjoyed playing the game with friends when it first released, but it got boring very fast and i couldn't find anyone to play with.
it was certainly one of those "okay I beat it time to uninstall" games

Well thanks! Channel isnt what is was in my siege days but we're trying to branch out and do more discussion topics to find where I wanna go. I like the videos I have in the pipeline but its hard to find the time.

The game needs a matchmaking system or lobby system, then I would probably play it again.
I honestly feel like I’m the only one that had a blast on this game lol just downloaded it from gamepass about 3 weeks ago and I enjoyed every bit of it I personally don’t need a sequel especially if they aren’t willing to get their shit together but OVERALL I had a good time and will definitely be a game I might re visit some day and play all over again I’m glad I liked it and I hope others can maybe give it another shot and if you still don’t like it that’s okay !!!!! 👌
I had an alright time when I first played it, but its nothing special. Just a turn your brain off kind of game but I wish it was better
I played it and loved it
its certainly not the absolute worst thing in the world. But i for sure couldnt play it for longer than it took to beat. just not enough content and the combat wasnt all that great. glad you liked it though@@dawuanaustin8045
I feel like redfall needs more of everything I'll list a few I think redfall is going to be one of those games you will come back to it in like 2 years and notice the game is mostly fixed sadly
More buildings and caves to explore to possibly find cool stuff
Rework on Ai
A lot more interesting random encounters
I think adding more random interesting side missions to the game
i think adding a new map would be cool if it's actuality put time and effort in
I tried playing it on Game Pass after watching a video stating it was in a better state. As someone who occasionally goes back to Generation Zero, I was hopefully to play Red Fall instead but couldn't get hooked. GZ can equally be a snoozefest but has its AA charm, has more grounded combat and has synthwave.
I haven't played in a couple years, but from what I remember was that even in the quiet moments, GenZ had fantastic atmosphere. You'd be poking around an empty farmhouse, and hear a machine whooping off in the distance, with no way to know whether that was a tank on the other side of a tree line, or if it was walking down the street outside. The endgame grind wasn't the best, but even at its weakest it nailed the tone it was going for.
The game is in a better state for sure. But still lacks meaningful fun. It was a grind but not in the good way. just isnt worth playing and i feel like they would need to completely overhaul it to make it good
My issue is that it was kinda made to be played with other players therefor making it an online game that u can play solo but it has no way to pause the game you lag even if you play solo and some ppl don’t have the best WiFi I feel like they tried to copy boarder lands but the fact you can’t even pause the game is a huge no no and they need to make it a none required WiFi game but if you want you can play with other players
Thanks for this. I was really excited for Redfall before I played it, and I still feel like it is the embodiment of a potentially great game ruined by a terrible development cycle. Sad to hear it hasn't improved significantly since launch.
"If you had a sliver of fun." Yeah, I can't remember if I did. There were fragments of what could have been a better game mixed around the edges, but Redfall was so bland. Ironically, if they'd chucked the weapon levels entirely, and just let you keep the weapons you liked, it would have made it feel a lot better. As it was, you could occasionally find a gun that was fun to use, but in 15 minutes, it'd be superseded by some random trash you didn't want to use, because the one you enjoyed no longer packed enough punch.
Exactly how it is. I understand the point of weapon rarities and levels but it just didnt feel like it was as good as it could be. But i dont mind this system in say, borderlands.
I'm liking it a lot and I'm enjoying it. But I will be honest and say that there is definitely something lacking in this game that leaves the players wanting more

Videos I make aren't really conducive to needing a facecam. should the need arise the camera is still on top of my monitor but as of right now there's no need for content making purposes. Maybe when I stream on twitch ill turn it on but who knows.

I went back to it recently after playing for a few hours at launch. Personally I feel like it’s a boring janky game not to mention how weak the final boss battle is . I’m glad I played it on game pass deffo wasn’t worth buying
I would have felt so burned if I paid money for this game. Game pass really do be worth it

@@curtkillya939 yeah its a maybe $20 game. Even that is a stretch. I played with buddies for an hour and then they never played agan so I was solo
