- ** It's combine cleanup time! Let's tear this thing into little pieces and have some fun while doing it! 😁🤣
** This was a Fendt Ideal 9 combine that burnt to the ground last fall (2020) in my opinion and also the fire inspectors opinion, was caused by the right hand gear box failure.
** You can watch the whole combine burn down on my video last fall, thankfully no one was hurt 🙂

Not going to lie, that operator has the patience of a saint. I'd have already yelled at you about 1000 times for walking up on my blind sides.
And then tell him to STFU
@@gordbaker896 I think he loves the sound of his own voice gave me a headache LOL
I can see the argument but I’m sure the operator knows that mike has an understanding of being around large equipment
@@martindavis8757 Apparently you don't realize the danger and distraction either.
It was okay when I turned down the volume.

It's amazing how even these new combines, when stripped down to the core with all the fancy styling and guarding gone, still look largely the same as all combines for the last 70 years.
"used combine parts. Heat-treated. Could use a little paint. Call for more info."
Yeah... I have a lot of parts from burned tractors and I am constantly selling them.. only once had a problem.
Ha ha..uh uh
..mike I hope you has insurance on it....it didn't do too much damage to the field I hope
Someone get this man a powerbank
This is a test image how how well built this combine is...
Well accept the right hand gearbox.
The real test image is them working in the field, which has been shown on the channel and is awful
@@memesandmusic they are working great WHEN they are working
*testament not test image
Except*
That video was like watching someone eating an elephant. At first it looks impossible, but just take one bite at a time, and eventually it is all GONE!
Next time you need to pull out a stuck Ideal 9, just hook onto the auger!
Haha made my day 😄
You should be careful grinding you might set it on fire....
The SOUND of that truck uhhh
I am surprised this video don’t have a half 1 million views this was incredible to watch and it shows how strong and how well these machines are put together
Until you get them in the field, those fendts broke down a lot last year
@@memesandmusic bud your words mean nothing with meme in your name
at one point john gives you that look like “Please stop walking around my machine yelling in a high pitch voice and pointing every 10 seconds” I know that look I use to give it to my wife and kids when they would visit me at work......
The engine used to be a "Running MAN" now its a "DEAD MAN" 😂😂😂
Nice pun ;)
No more mantenance required
In between , ... it was a Burning Man... 🤔
Unfortunately; very sad :-((((
About MAN: one of MAN's three original companies was Maschinenfabrik Augsburg, where Rudolf Diesel developed the Diesel engine from 1893 to 1897.
Later, tractors were also built under the name "Ackerdiesel" ("Acre Diesel") from 1921 to 1962.
@@Rei_Ner If I understood my German language lessons in University, „Ackerdiesel“ would be more like „Field-Diesel“, because an acre is a North American area dimension. But yes, MAN is very interesting!
It’s surprising how strong the combine is and how difficult it was to disassemble it.
If they could only make the rotor shear pins hold that tough
Well, with the proper cutter for digger it would have been so much easier.
Needed a shear been better than just the thumb
I actually thought the opposite, how easy it was to disassemble a machine this heavy and this strong built
Also, wenn it's burnt down and the plastic panels are gone, it's just a metal brick and looks very familiar to older harvesters. The technology stayed mostly the same, only the size changed
When cutting the axles was mentioned I was expecting a torch. Much faster and more adaptable to odd shapes and spaces than the abrasive saw, especially for demolition.
Should imagine it would be safer too - no spinning abrasive disc kickback to worry about, or indeed the disc exploding in your face ! Gas torch would give better accessibility and much less weight to try and control - that cutter must weigh a fair bit.
Always relaxing watching a skilled operator run a piece of machinery like that lol
John knows how to put the F.U. in FUN 😂
Someone is going to need a BIG MAGNET in hopes of avoiding future flat tires.
I used to think i was indecisive but now I'm not sure. Love the sign in the truck.
Surprisingly, that is a solid advertisement for AGCO
i guess the news of how sturdy they are build will spread like wild fire 😉😁
hey Mike you could make a table out of the engine like who can say i got an table made out a 15.2 liter engine
That would have been awesome! If he didn't already take it
@@mikemitchell2554 mike i bet you already started planting and a 9rx broke down
Hint: your profile pic 😂😂
@@darkamezcua3628 may have been the morning checkup
@@memesandmusic true cause he already changed it 😂😂
@@darkamezcua3628 for some reason the pfp for the video is the ideal 9 with the excavator and the channel page pfp is the 9rx
Lol...mike sure is happy
In Australia we call what Frank did in the truck, Circle Work 🙂
Mike bingo
- we love wat we do
- he is an awesome Guy
-mike i have a question
-i love having fun
-i catch you guys on the flipside
- we know what we are doing
- we are just as bunch of kids
🤣🤣🤣
Adios amigos
Figured you would
Mike's the best commentator..
I love this channel but this is the first operator that has ever been on here!!
Stuff always breaks when you don't want it to, but when you do want to break stuff it seems to hold on for dear life
That is a scrappers' dream right there!
Ha! Love it! He needs a shear attachment. I spent half a day stripping an old round baler and loading it on a trailer. Operator at scrap yard just picked it up and threw it 25 across his pile like nothing.
Nothing but pure force and demolition.
It is kinda interesting to see how other people make their food come to the table.
Thanks Mike for making this vlog, one of the cooler in your collection.
Honestly kinda amazes me how that little (I know it's actually kinda big) engine can power everything that huge combine does!
Mike this might be the best moments of that combine 🤣😂😜 u really enjoying yourself
Looks like you could put triples on the other ideals without hurting the axles
You could put five and they'd be fine
They already broke an axle once
I was surprised that he did not bring a torch with him to take the combine apart. I watched four guys take a Cat D8 tractor apart in about two hours with a couple of oxy-acetylene torches.
This reminds me of a T-REX tearing a carcass to shreds. Fascinating!
this is the video I liked the most on this channel
I like Mike Mitchell’s vids there fun he makes them relly entertaining and informative
Great video Mike , something different for all to see .Cutting up scrap is a art few will ever see .Take care .👍👍😊😊✌
I don't who was having more fun... The operator, or Mike giving us a play by play 🤣
It would be interesting how he puts the combine and the Digger on the trail
I employed a guy like John one time ( he could tear up anything)!!!!!!!!!!!
Agco defiantly builds a strong machine.
I would’ve left it there, it’s kind of like a museum piece that you take your kids to see decades after
For insurance and environmental reasons, can’t do that
I like the new content! Its not every day you see what happens after an equipment fire.
Yep.... could've watched another hour of this... Lol. Entertaining vid Mike quite the mess to clean up and I hope you don't have to go through that again thanks for sharing!
Love the Plaque on your dashboard!
Wow that was fun to watch!! It's always neat to learn about a niche job such as burnt combine recycling.
This was oddly satisfying to watch.
I like the way he says "Hey John"
Kind of reminds me of Godzilla eating a school bus.
Mike either put that engine in the old Massey or stand it beside the old Massey
So grandpa could at least have reminder of his grandchild
Genesis Attachments and LaBounty make a set of hydraulic "scissors" that replace the bucket and thumb on the excavator. They would make quick work of cutting that into pieces.
Someone get the man some shears for that machine.
Buy yourself a travel charger. I have one that will fully recharge my phone 3 times if I am away from an outlet.
I got one that uses power tool batteries lol
got me twisting and turning as he tears it apart you made it an experience great visual
That was pretty cool to watch him tear that combine down. Some of that parts came off a lot harder than what i would have guessed.
Mike is 100% trying to get 60ft fronts for all the Ideals now that he knows how hard it is to make the augers fall off 😂
😂 LOL, Mike calling this like a PRIZE FIGHT ding 🛎 ding 🛎
That EFI Stihl isn't bogging at all, damn!
If you let it bog down, you would overheat the blade and it would be useless
@@jkeid315 absolutely!
You didnt have an idea how he was going to break it down ? Your learning a lot today . Your the Bollocks Man . A Great Dinlow too be proud of that Man
I don't know why, but I really liked this video! Thanks Mike
That was tougher to take apart than I thought it would be! You take care.
I can't believe it stayed together like that after being that hot wow
Mike I got a question: Why do you have millions of dollars of equipment and no portable phone charger?
Haha 🤷🏼♂️
@@mikemitchell2554 Or at least a cable!!! Must have bought the Economy package on that pickup!!! I think he must be saving up for one of those "million reason" jobs!!!
I can believe not having a phone charger in the car, they tend to break.
But why he doesn't have a power bank he canj plug in and use at the same time as he is filming is more surprising.
If you haven’t noticed Mike is usually ill prepared in any situation. He wouldn’t last to long in the bush.
Priorities, would be my guess😏
Love the videos Mike but damn you need to get either a dedicated camera or a power bank for your phone so you can record for longer!
I know 🤣
exactly. not the first video, where the battery died on him.
39 minutes not long enough bud?
What a mess! That looks like a lot of future flat tires.
Hi Mike, I can see you were itching to have a go!!! I also was spellbound it looked like a combine then Not. Awesome 👍
Love the sound of the truck! Nice video Mike!
Good quality technical disassembly of a Fend combine.
This is the most entertaining video I’ve seen in a long time for some reason
T Rex feasting on its own kind!
Welcome to Jurassic Farm!
An external “Battery Pak” could be beneficial to allow for longer videos
acgually make a small battery pack about the size of a roll of quarters for just that purpose
That was awesome, even better than the fire.
ok, first, mike we all love you , and know you like danger but please maybe a high vis jacket around swinging hunks of metal?, also someone please sponsor mike with battery banks
ooof that sound of the jakes
"I actually don't know his game plan..."
Brute force, EXTREMELY brute force, Sir! :)
The green sign on your dash gave me a laugh. It says Mike Mitchell all over it
Interesting to see the different moving parts of the combine...
There's youtubes that show part by part breakdown with the thing in operation. Here's one ua-cam.com/video/mRtz9Dlrvq4/v-deo.html
That is one crispy combine
Amazing video and cool truck sound :-) Greatings from the Netherlands!
It's a pretty dang helpless feeling when a machine starts burning and there's no water or plow around for nearby
Oh Mike! I cant believe that guy let you get that close to it all.
Typical mike: "notice how he has those steel bars across his windows, just in case something comes flying out." He is walking closer to the scrap while he says it.
😂🤣😂🤣
All new from ground up. Thanks
Excavator operators take being one with a machine to a whole new level
John has the best job EVER!!!
Damn, waited 39 minutes to watch him rip off those wheels and then nothing! LOL
Great video, that was surprisingly fun to watch.
Great video Mike 👍 Entertaining as always 😊
That's what I call entertainment
Been doing that of-load for years .....first time i see another rater do that ....👍
its always amazing how true operators can dance with there mach
awesome video mike thanks for showing us
Why am I thinking of Godzilla and King Kong?
🦖🦍
lol 😂
Mike that was a great video. You should think about making it an annual event. 🤣🤣🤣
Excavator wasn't chained down? Just sitting in a thin metal box? Brilliant.
That’s a cool dash sign 😂😂😂 thats me too
Looking like yal need the right tool for the job !! Good video
Would have been fun to see him put everything in that truck along with his machine!!
Hi Mike, thanks for this Awesome Video 🤠👍
Thank you for the video
