I think the idea of “good rap” and “bad rap” is dead. People like songs they like whether they’ve got criteria to be considered good or not. Music shouldn’t be seen as an equation that’s gotta be solved in order to be enjoyable anymore. Times changing and I’m all for it honestly. (From once was hip hop purist)

I think the beat selection is the only thing very similar but there are times where you can hear a similarity to Carti. Yeat then takes it to another level. An expansion of Carti I would say.

His vocal inflections and the way you can really tell he's having fun on these songs really brings joy . Plus , his music just give you energy .
