Hi Sundhar, Companies gives opportunity if you have any experience in mechanical domain. And you should know design tools (NX, CATIA, SOLID WORKS,CREO etc.) if you want to join any design related jobs. If you have mechanical production (Quality) experience, tell them like "I involved in some cad works also from here". And if told like this you should crack Tool test while interview. Feel free to ask anything.

Catia is best when you compare with Solidworks. And Catia is better for Aerospace Design's, Solidworks is better for Plastic Design's.

Solid work is better for Basic parts. Not for Irregular parts like Surface models. Part design work is easy by using SW.

​@@CADDesigns u need to slow up ur speed while teaching. Students come and learn here because they don't know and if u teach like this it's hard to understand. It's more frustrating than understanding. I have to again and again set the speed of video then also it is just slowing ur voice speed. Work on this.
