Why there is a contour surface inside the big round thru holes 10:14, where you try to combine the opening cut and the hole feature remove the recess ?

That is just showing you that you did something inside that hole. But that is actually just one hole with specific diameter. You can go to "view" box and change "geometry views" (cylinder icon) and change between second and third profile view.

Put the hole in AFTER creating the lug. Nothing so amateurish as putting one hole over another due to sloppy model creation.
