Mr Edwards always makes more sense than most of the so called royal commentors we have inflicted on us these day. His book of photos of the royal family, is brilliant. It occured to me, that Mr Edwards should be the recipient of one of the honours, instead of some of the questionable people who do recieve them.

Back in 1974 my Father was stationed in Singapore and we went with him, the then Prince Charles came over to join HMS Jupiter. I met some of his security men and they told me what a great man he was how he enjoyed going out on the town with the junior ratings and that he treated everyone with kindness, they had greatcrespect for the man he was. I was 16 years old and have never forgotten how much they admired him.

What do you mean none of us have heard these things about the KING. I am a year younger than the King, a staunch MONARCHIST born and bred in the EASTEND of London. Every BRITISH person of my age knows EVERYTHING about our Monarchy, our late QUEEN ELIZABETH II and all the Royal families, unfortunately it is people of the younger generations who know nothing of our history and or the Royals. So don't include us in your ignorance, try reading a few history books you will learn much more than you think especially about our KING.

Thank you, dear Sir. That was beautiful beyond words. I have been a vehement fan of the Royal Family forever. We all loved Princess Di, but I must say it was never right from the start. He has loved Camilla since they were kids. That sort of love never diminishes. I will never forget the advice she gave to Princess Kate about how to you deal with it all. I believe her response was "You live for him, always." And humbly and graciously she does exactly that. A truer love than theirs is so very rare. I watched their visit to Africa, and their hosting S. Korea with awe. He truly is so funny and there is nothing more endearing than laughter. I had never seen your pictures of Nepal with him, and they truly are magnificent. So many of us knew nothing more stable than the Queen and when she passed, we all wondered or rather thought no one could fill her shoes. Indeed, he has better than anyone imagined. I feel his compassion and love for his people is more modern and in step with the needs of his people as King. Prince William is certainly following in his father's footsteps with passion and decency. Him and Kate will be as strong as His Majesty and Queen Camilla. May God bless them all with healing, strength and wisdom to carry on. God bless.

The King is intelligent, gentle, compassionate, kindly, courageous, loyal, quiet, and way ahead of most of the world when it comes to the future. Many people appear to count this as weakness or cowardice, and shame on them for it.
I am 77 and have watched King Charles III since he was BORN! We all make big mistakes in life, and what matters is that we overcome our faults, and move forward, loving others, and in Charles' case it is being a good example to the people. I admire that he cares about the earth, plants gardens, has animals, travels and cares about the earth. I don't like his relationship with the WEF, but the fact that he sits on the Throne of Israel, means that God is interested in the Royal Family and has a promise to fulfill to King David about that Throne.

As much as Charles was not a favorite of mine for years, he is actually my favorite royal now too. There was so much i misjudged and/or wrongly assumed about him. I think he's an incredible man and I am so heartbroken about his cancer diagnosis. I get why people didn't used to like him. There was huge media bias against him and he made mistakes and did some stuff I still don't agree with, however, as I've learned about him personally, the gritty details of that mistake ridden past (including learning Diana's own faults that were largely unknown to me), and as I looked at his lifelong devotion to service, my mind shifted and grew so fond of him to the point where I don't know if I'll ever like any royal as much as I like him now. That mind shift took a while and I had to have an open mind and see him as human (and Diana as human as opposed to a flawless saint). I doubt I'll ever change anyone's mind on him and that's okay, but I also doubt my mind will ever change on him now either. He's embraced his strengths beautifully and tried very hard to make the best of his weaknesses and flaws. I don't think anyone could expect more from someone, especially since you can't fix the past. I agree with you, @krystayates1650, there was huge media bias against King Charles 111, like most people, I always adored Princess Diana, but bless her heart she even said he was a wonderful Father to their boys and that it was 50 - 50 blame regards their marriage break up so she was very fair. I know several couples who got on better After their divorces and became best friends as all this stress and strain had gone - she was happier with Dodi although tragically they had the fatal accident and I understand Charles turned to his ex-girlfriend Camilla after he realised his marriage was sadly over and then he realised Camilla had been the One after all.
As an older Brit I’ve always appreciated King Charles and its always upset me that the media were biased against him. It’s time his good work and decent behaviour is acknowledged

A beautiful interview. My mum was an ardent Prince Charles fan (back in the day) and when I was young, she always pointed him out to me, showed me what he was doing and all the good he did - quietly. I'm so very grateful to my mum for that because I don't think people realise just how amazing King Charles is and how lucky we are to have him. I have always heard good things about The Prince’s Trust. I also love his attitudes about our being stewards of the Earth and his stress on the idea of kindness towards others.
The King is going through a lot of de-stress at present. The more I hear about the King the more I’m getting to be fond of him. To hear Arthur tell stories we never knew says so much about King Charles the man doing things for people quietly and without fan fare. And then you hear of him confronting Arthur and you think perhaps there’s more of Prince Phillip in him than we thought and also the sense of humour. I think Camilla has a lot to do with bringing out the best in Charles. And that can only be to the benefit of the country. I’m watching his fight with cancer closely but that’s because my own niece is also under going treatment and I know how tiring and debilitating it can be my hopes for my niece and King Charles is they come out the other side stronger fitter having beaten cancer to live a happy life. And I also wish Fergie a successful and speedy recovery with her fight against cancer.

He has worked tirelessly for decades for the good of mankind, and not enough people know this. What do you mean none of us have heard these things about the KING. I am a year younger than the King, a staunch MONARCHIST born and bred in the EASTEND of London. Every BRITISH person of my age knows EVERYTHING about our Monarchy, our late QUEEN ELIZABETH II and all the Royal families, unfortunately it is people of the younger generations who know nothing of our history and or the Royals. So don't include us in your ignorance, try reading a few history books you will learn much more than you think especially about our KING.

Thank you, dear Sir. That was beautiful beyond words. I have been a vehement fan of the Royal Family forever. We all loved Princess Di, but I must say it was never right from the start. He has loved Camilla since they were kids. That sort of love never diminishes. I will never forget the advice she gave to Princess Kate about how to you deal with it all. I believe her response was "You live for him, always." And humbly and graciously she does exactly that. A truer love than theirs is so very rare. I watched their visit to Africa, and their hosting S. Korea with awe. He truly is so funny and there is nothing more endearing than laughter. I had never seen your pictures of Nepal with him, and they truly are magnificent. So many of us knew nothing more stable than the Queen and when she passed, we all wondered or rather thought no one could fill her shoes. Indeed, he has better than anyone imagined. I feel his compassion and love for his people is more modern and in step with the needs of his people as King. Prince William is certainly following in his father's footsteps with passion and decency. Him and Kate will be as strong as His Majesty and Queen Camilla. May God bless them all with healing, strength and wisdom to carry on. God bless.

The King is intelligent, gentle, compassionate, kindly, courageous, loyal, quiet, and way ahead of most of the world when it comes to the future. Many people appear to count this as weakness or cowardice, and shame on them for it.

I am 77 and have watched King Charles III since he was BORN! We all make big mistakes in life, and what matters is that we overcome our faults, and move forward, loving others, and in Charles' case it is being a good example to the people. I admire that he cares about the earth, plants gardens, has animals, travels and cares about the earth. I don't like his relationship with the WEF, but the fact that he sits on the Throne of Israel, means that God is interested in the Royal Family and has a promise to fulfill to King David about that Throne.
KING CHARLES is truly amazing. History will record his Reign with honour. He has been so underrated. He was amazing as the Prince of Wales, as well as King Charles III. He does so much good, without fanfare. I am so grateful that he finally could have Queen Camilla by his side. Long Live The King and Queen ❤ from Australia.
As much as Charles was not a favorite of mine for years, he is actually my favorite royal now too. There was so much i misjudged and/or wrongly assumed about him. I think he's an incredible man and I am so heartbroken about his cancer diagnosis.
I get why people didn't used to like him. There was huge media bias against him and he made mistakes and did some stuff I still don't agree with, however, as I've learned about him personally, the gritty details of that mistake ridden past (including learning Diana's own faults that were largely unknown to me), and as I looked at his lifelong devotion to service, my mind shifted and grew so fond of him to the point where I don't know if I'll ever like any royal as much as I like him now.
That mind shift took a while and I had to have an open mind and see him as human (and Diana as human as opposed to a flawless saint).
I doubt I'll ever change anyone's mind on him and that's okay, but I also doubt my mind will ever change on him now either. He's embraced his strengths beautifully and tried very hard to make the best of his weaknesses and flaws. I don't think anyone could expect more from someone, especially since you can't fix the past.

I agree with you, @krystayates1650, there was huge media bias against King Charles 111, like most people, I always adored Princess Diana, but bless her heart she even said he was a wonderful Father to their boys and that it was 50 - 50 blame regards their marriage break up so she was very fair. I know several couples who got on better After their divorces and became best friends as all this stress and strain had gone - she was happier with Dodi although tragically they had the fatal accident and I understand Charles turned to his ex-girlfriend Camilla after he realised his marriage was sadly over and then he realised Camilla had been the One after all.
As an older Brit I’ve always appreciated King Charles and its always upset me that the media were biased against him. It’s time his good work and decent behaviour is acknowledged

A beautiful interview. My mum was an ardent Prince Charles fan (back in the day) and when I was young, she always pointed him out to me, showed me what he was doing and all the good he did - quietly. I'm so very grateful to my mum for that because I don't think people realise just how amazing King Charles is and how lucky we are to have him. He's well read, he's incredibly intelligent and has incredible taste. We will miss this dreadfully because it doesn't seem like upcoming generations value the same things. God save the King. x

The more I hear about the King the more I’m getting to be fond of him. To hear Arthur tell stories we never knew says so much about King Charles the man doing things for people quietly and without fan fare. And then you hear of him confronting Arthur and you think perhaps there’s more of Prince Phillip in him than we thought and also the sense of humour. I think Camilla has a lot to do with bringing out the best in Charles. And that can only be to the benefit of the country. I’m watching his fight with cancer closely but that’s because my own niece is also under going treatment and I know how tiring and debilitating it can be my hopes for my niece and King Charles is they come out the other side stronger fitter having beaten cancer to live a happy life. And I also wish Fergie a successful and speedy recovery with her fight against cancer.
