Hope this opens the governments eyes and something realistically is done to change health care for the better. He has a pretty good attorney it seems, also Tom Dickey appears to have been hired and not appointed. I’m sure Luigi’s family is well connected.
Very well stated. It is a sad fact that in the U.S., healthcare costs more than in any other country, yet has the worst outcomes for patients than any other industrialized nation. What I don't get, in his case, is why he settled for that horrible spinal fusion surgery, (which is the only thing insurance will normally pay for with spinal injuries), when his family could easily have afforded the best surgeon/surgery available. They own several luxury resorts, two golf courses, and several nursing homes in Maryland.

Bob, we’ve (aka legal experts) have seen many manifesto/ confessions that aren’t legit, correct? I mean obvi could contain lies. Ugh. More death doesn’t help death. 😢
@ hey so I commented earlier about what happened to me and I just found out that Luigi actually had the same thing happen in his spine, but his is in his back. I have a plate in my neck and three donor bones. I was almost completely paralyzed by the time that I had surgery and I did have United healthcare. They did try to go back and deny my claim afterwards, but I’m pretty sure that they paid it because I haven’t gotten a bill from the hospital and that was three years ago. Fingers crossed the surgery was 100s of thousands of dollars. I just read a thing that he had the same thing in his back. And it is very depressing. I’m older than he is, but basically my life was kind of over after that and have to continue to have health issues since. I mean, I am getting better, but I also need another surgery in my neck. Which I refuse to have because it would leave me unable to ever move my head or neck again. So I’m pretty sure he had just a nervous freaking breakdown and yeah, it sucks because when you’re this young and struggle this hard physically it just seems so unfair but at the same time as someone who’s completely gone through this. I would never ever conceive doing something like he did. It’s kind of crazy how many people my age I’ve found that actually have this. This is just the first male I don’t know if it’s connected to the Covid shot or not. But. I took the vaccine to protect my family and my country to the best of my ability at the time with the given information. Anyway, maybe this will help.
Ps. I am the Lisa that sat next to you a couple times at the Delphi trial The girl with the boot on so I tore my Achilles tendon in Miami because after traveling sometimes my right leg still drags It’s still torn by the way and I’m still in a boot lol but the good news is. I felt so impassioned by the grave injustice that I needed to see for myself and try to go help in anyway that I could, that I got out of my house and went to the Richard Allen trial and helped when I could wait in line for people and realized that I can still do a lot more than I physically think I am able to do at times. It’s unfortunate that if this was behind his breakdown, he didn’t find a better way to deal with the shit end of the stick when it comes to physical and financial severe loss. It took me almost two years to just be able to put my earrings in by myself. But I’m crocheting again this year. And I hope to be painting again on the regular.
Thanks as always. Sorry if I don't even understand how else the young man's name would be pronounced? I taught a Masters class in 2011 about "ObamaCare " and wrote some 200 pages on the American health care system, including fieldwork where I interviewed people across the country. Compared to European countries aside from the UK, which has a nationalized system similar to Canada, European countries have a combination of public and private health care, meaning public research hospitals and private clinics, and mostly private health practitioners. France, for instance, has the American Hospital in Paris, which is a private tax-free foundation. Overall, insurance doesn't exceed $150/ month. I was appalled to get testimony from middle-class people across the USA telling me their insurance policy before deductibles would cost at least $700/month. Even when I was no longer living in the USA, I kept getting emails for years reminding me to sign up to this health care plan - maybe for my son, who was in prep school on his father's plan...
In Norway we have some private clinics, but noone needs health insurance here. Its all free, baked in the tax. Its not perfect but it works fine, and for the people using it is hell of a lot cheaper than the horrible system in the us.
@mereteaasland6663 Yes, overall, in Europe , and I'm including Switzerland, Norway, Monaco, and all Schengen zone countries, there's universal health care, so nobody is denied treatment. Nobody dies on the street from lack of treatment. I'd like to say our welfare state is being taken advantage of, as seen in the recent collapse of the French government, since the planned budget included extra benefits - total free health care without ever having paid into the system- for illegals and higher out of pocket medical payments for citizens. The idea is unsustainable, and Europe needs to face up to the reality of demographics. Just my opinion.

LBH, “interesting but toxic” describes our society right now. And capitalism for that matter. I don’t know if people will be as divided clearly as you think. I actually agree with everything he said in the document except that the murder was justified. I don’t think murder is ok. That said, I think he accomplished his goal both of dealing a hit to the insurance giant (morale wise - obviously not financial which is what really matters) and of making his statement loud and nationwide. I don’t know. I’m torn. As a salaried engineer with no kids there are still times even now where I struggle with how much I spend on healthcare yearly, it’s absolutely impossible for those without significant income to get basic care. That’s just a fact in this country, we value rich lives more than poor ones. And it plays out every hour in every city and it’s heartbreaking. But was murder justified? No. The CEO was a product of, and exploited the system he was raised in to rise to the top. He probably, like most corporate leadership, exuded many cluster B traits which are widely rewarded in gains industries. He was a symbol and he died for it. It could have been any other human, as long as they had been popular enough, exploited enough customers, and risen high enough. It’s a very sick situation in a very sick country. I just wish LEO spent as much time and money solving other crimes as they did this one which, again, symptom of the all the same problems.
So kiling a father of young kids is going to change it. Bull. He wanted to be notorious. Famous. He could have used his ivy school education to change Healthcare. If she was denied it was probably experimental. But if your doctor things you need it you will. You got to get approved and it's a pain but it will get approved. My Mom is on Medicare and medicaid.. we have alot of hoops to jump but it does get approved if it's a known treatment
It was denied because it was experimental or she did not have the diagnosis that would justify the treatment. It is a struggle but I've not been denied after damaging my S1/S2 nerves. Tgeblastc3 years I've broke my sacrum in 3 places and broke my hip with 2 failed replacements. Its all about having the proper diagnosis code which your doctor documents in your medical files. Sometimes you really have to work at and changes have to be made. But what company is gonna pay out 100,000's for 12,000 in premiums? Killing a father isn't going to get his mom approved or change insurance.
"GoFundMe’s Terms of Service prohibit fundraisers for the legal defense of violent crimes. The fundraisers have been removed from our platform and all donors have been refunded."
OK, well I’m just gonna go ahead and say this while I think insurance is the biggest rip off and basically I was paralyzed after my second Covid shot which pretty much ruined my life about three years ago the bottom line is he did murder him in cold blood and that’s not acceptable. That’s not how we’re supposed to seek justice in America Just my personal opinion. I mean, and I really feel the same way about the sheriff in Kentucky. He shouldn’t have done what he did. He’s supposed to represent the law. He’s not above the law.
Also, I mean those were totally different from Richard Allen. These are the videotaped assassinations. And yeah, I just had to take a break after the verdict in that case. I really do want to go to the sentencing.
Note I can walk now, but I have a permanently bruised spinal cord in my neck. By the time they figured out what it was, but spinal cord was completely crushed and could’ve been severed by a fall
Schizophrenics hear voices this is major depression if you ask me prayers are with his family, the frustration of being told he's an adult and is allowed to go missing and I can't discuss his mental health because of HIPPA laws .
@@Lisa-r6u1wA diagnosis of schizophrenia does not require hallucinations. Someone might have delusions (paranoia, grandeur, etc.). What we know, thus far, is that this is a young man who comes from incredible wealth and privilege with remarkable access to services. He spent his time listening to right-wing and libertarian podcasts and read libertarian texts. He was reported missing one month ago and had sustained a back injury with ongoing back pain. He presents in a similar way as the young man who committed a mass shooting in Santa Barbara years ago. Manifestos should never be shared with the public, as they are not a window into truth, but feed a storyline that serves the role they want to play in their plot of infamy. There is often a lot of narcissist themes behind these acts.
I think it’s plausible he has no mental health problem. He was tired and in pain and saw this as a method to be heard. And he succeeded. I also don’t appreciate armchair diagnoses from the impartial and uninvolved. It’s fine to say that maybe you hear traits like lack of empathy or maybe you hear a manic tone but even those traits don’t always mean diagnosis. Especially when all you know of him is 260 words and what’s in the media.
Your channel would be 100 percent better if you got rid of all the nasty mods you have that allow only their own beliefs to be posted. Your mods are some of the worst on you tube.
Putting aside the morality of his murdering ways- his manifesto is not unreasonable and is based upon facts.
I concur

He did this for his mom. She lived in horrific pain and crawled to the bathroom on a regular basis due to health care being denied.
Heartbreaking to hear. He must have felt his life is over anyway without his mom.
@@DucoHall0205 his parents are millionaires ffs

He is like Ted Kasinski 😮
I thought the manifesto was 3 pages long?
Just gotta say, I prefer Chuck Mangione.
Hi Bob! This guy sounds schizophrenic. What do you think?
Just decide not to use the mic??

Your channel would be 100 percent better if you got rid of all the nasty mods you have that allow only their own beliefs to be posted. Your mods are some of the worst on you tube.
I have seen mods sabotage channels. Owners should check how many blocks/mutes/time outs are given. Most commenters are not naughty.
Can you give me an example? I’m adamant about not having this channel be an echo chamber as long as people are civil.
