Oh yeah and like someone else said you can use the value of the second card which really helps avoid getting the figments when you dont want them. Plus when you move the cards down the top card can be moved to anywhere in the stack that is moving down which helps get your binding stones adjacent to same value cards and getting 4 fairly easy points
You may have noticed already but with Balgrands beard the card that you use to exceed 13 have to be the cards that move with balgrands beard to the bottom. BB doesnt have to be the top card i think, as long as it is one of the cards moving to the bottom and the total is 13 or more you can rotate it.
I think as you said, this is my "sign" to officially try out the game. I've heard a lot about it, but haven't tried it yet. Pretty cool design. I will say "Loot the Loop" has a similar feel with a standard deck of cards -of course there are some major differences, but it's worth a try if you are interested.
Same. I saw on BGG that there's going to be a physical release. But thanks to this video getting recommended to me by youtube, I'll go print the PnP now and buy it physically later.
Thanks for giving me another recommendation! I'm currently making my way down the BGG 2024 Solitaire PNP Design Contest that's going on right now. I should be filming some playthroughs of the game entries soon!
If galdor’s grip is already face up in your deck then it should be rotated the moment you reveal the 4th binding stone (lightning symbol means that effect should happen immediately) so when you got to galdor’s grip near the end it shouldve already been rotated and the game should’ve ended there.
Looks like you’re playing it wrong - you can use the cost of the 2nd card too. At the end when you said you lost, you can choose to trigger the wildcard cost on the 2nd card (Galdors Grip) - so just choose another number!
Gee, I appreciate the recommendations!!! The Creatures and Caverns reminds of me Galdor's Grip - which means i'll probably have a lot of fun playing it.

I appreciate you letting me know. I will have to replay the game with that feedback in mind!

Look in the rules under “Explore” you can choose A or B, I think you haven’t been considering B as an option- this is why you’re struggling
may I suggest hidden gem free PNP, sire?
-Adamastor
-Haze Island
-Creatures and Caverns
