Gameboy Interface for GameCube

Today we will install the #GameBoy Player on the #gamecube that we modded with the #picoboot and also works with the #kunai so you can play Gameboy and Gameboy advanced games on your big screen TV!
And best of all we don't need the rare and expensive GameBoy player DVD, anymore!

Nice! I love the GameBoy player. I have to check out the "no disc" way of using it. The GB player is one of the very few things from back in the day that I kept and still own (incl. the disc). The prices are crazy!

That’s so cool Wolfgang! I’d never heard of it until 2 weeks ago. And set off on a retro hunt for it.
I’m now staying with friends and yesterday evening we played on it and had so much fun. Yeah those prices are insane! You can sell your disk alone for 90-100 euros overhere 🤣

Oh cool! Thanks I didn’t know that. That’s a super cool feature. I’m even amazed how well the color palettes are selected. They differ per game. I found out that there are files here describing them. In the GBC that must have been part of the ROM.

It should work. Piboot is supported on Japanese versions but only the DOL-001.
