Tip: never exchange at the airport. You’ll loose money on the fees and exchange rate. You can always find a bank in the city at considerable savings. Another alternative is to use an ATM, but be sure to withdraw away from tourist areas and the airport, where the fees will kill u. Also always say “no” when asked by the ATM to accept the exchange rate from the ATM. Your bank’s exchange rate will be much better. Keep on trucking amigo.
Greetings, You have just scratched the surface of the reality within Mexico. Especially Mexico City, and places like Toluca. Toluca has grown exponentially over the last 20 years alone. Zapopopan is another interesting place, ans is Merida, Yucatan. Yet the insecurity makes it dangerous at times. There is so much more that you can imagine hidden away in little garages, and buildings in Mexico. Especially in the areas that were once rich with natural resources specifically. PAX ET LUX
What a nice impression of Mexico! 🥰 A completely different picture than painted by Mr President Trumpeteer, the world press and mafia stories. Ohhh ... and the cars were nice too 😀
Every time we go to Mexico people are excited about the food. It's kind of like Italy, whee the pizza was thin and crisp and good, so were the tacos in Mexico, served flat, then fold over and what a taste treat. We were only there 2 1/2 days this trip.
Mexico has alot of sweet classic rides , I went to Cabo Mexico back in 2017 and I saw a bunch of 70s broncos/and a few 50s chevies including other classic cars you wouldn't see around in my part of the USA(Kentucky), in great condition too might I add, over here they're all rusted out in some baby boomers back yard because they won't sell them😡. I'm currently scoping a 1996 OJ bronco but I want it white with a tan bottom trim, I'll be looking to Mexico for my truck. Beautiful trucks, can't wait.
That was because Mexico required commercial vehicles like hearses and school buses to be manufactured in Mexico. Most of these were used for transporting children to and from school.
Something like that I'd wouldn't dare modify to that degree since at least that particular B/F100's way too nice as well as being too rare. OTOH; using 1973-79 F series parts with a newer motor (5.0L Coyote) would be cool, especially it'd be easy to put back to stock down the line.
@@biglakebulliesadamg.8715 For a rare vehicle like that, which is also in decent condition, if it involves cutting up the body for the 7.3L and 38" tires/wheels on the original frame, wouldn't be cool IMHO. In Spanish most of the words are spelled how they sound so the person that typed up that invoice did it like that. I hope she was taught the correct way after that.
All of these trucks were made from strip models. If the green, previously white, truck had factory air, it would have been on the original invoice, which it wasn't If you didn't notice, somebody was playing around with the dash and the instruments so it looks like somebody put an air dash in the truck for whatever reason.
The $124,350 Mexican Peso price in 1976 for this vehicle works out(at the 1976 exchange rate) to around $9955 USD, which when adjusted for inflation is approximately $43884 USD today. I don't think you can find any new, full-sized SUV today for that price.....
My 1970 Boss 302 had a shaker hood and four speed ....yellow , boss strips , rear metal louvers and spoiler ....sad to say I let that one go ....dumb dumb I still beat myself up over that trade . I’m sure my high school had a truck like the two you bought ....300 six with four speed ...a little high than these but not so you could stand up in it 9 passengers single rear wheels made by Carpenter or BlueBird it would be a very close second to these and of course yellow with flashing lights they called it a bus but it was a truck conversion.
The 4 door bronco centurium edition does have 4 doors all the way around, I call them 70s,80s, and early 90s Ford expeditions or Ford excursions for the diesel versions cool 😎 rare classic SUVs👍

This is the problem with Mexican vehicles, They have been through so many hands, which shows on the original invoice which is the only ownership document that is valid, that people have made changes to them over the years. Where did the original seat go? Who took it out? Who knows, but it is going to be almost impossible to replace and I hope they figured that in to the price when they bought it. I hope they also figured in the rusting roof.
The first night in Mexico City we had not eaten dinner and it was past eleven o'clock. We went to this really nice restaurant, very busy, where they served tacos that were small and open faced that you folded and man were they good.
Yes sir, it was, and the weather in August was cool. Some people wore light jackets. Did you notice the lack of traffic signals , stop or yield signs of any kind on the street corner as drivers criss cross through intersections? This was also toward the end of the video.
My next door neighbor (house in front and to the right of me) here in Guanajuato has a gray B-100. It's his daily driver. I hadn't realized until your video that it had two doors on the pass. side.
The Ford B100 is a very cool truck i would imagine that would sell pretty fast in America mostly because of its uniqueness although i usually like red vehicles I like the Green one better out of the two you featured in the video it was interesting to see Mustang Enthusiasts outside the United States i would think it would be a little more challenging to obtain as much as they have The Dodge was very unique as well i liked the lines on that one very much

They are no different than the u.s. market selling mustangs, Camaro, got, etc to the Europeans. Can’t put anyone, no matter their heritage, down for trying to find their pot-o-gold. Great video, thanks for sharing!

There are two of those B100 in Tijuana, one of them seems to be in decent shape and the other one is junk, all rusted, broken glass all around, it has been sitting in a lot for the last 20 years.
