One thing I found with this game is it pays off a lot to be bold. The more you hide the harder it becomes, because you wait for the perfect moment to break cover and the longer you wait the more the Director AI tells the Alien AI to terrorise you. If you keep on the move, the Director AI will tell the Alien in which generic area you are, but by the time the alien goes to scope you out, you’ve moved on, it gets easier once you have familiarised yourself with the area and your tools.
Yes thats true, except the time the alien sees you, then although you neutralize him with flametrower or bombs he'll be back and turn more aggresive and approaches you each time sooner and more accurate. In this case to be bold and go for secondary objectives pays no, but RUN staying away from ceiling air conducts and when he sees you again you can walk backwards while you threaten him (but no shooting) with the flamethrower with ZL button..That will slow him down. Thats my opinion if im wrong please let me know
Ya I used to struggle a lot with the mission with that doctor now I can beat it in minutes. It shows what a great horror game this is when the biggest issue new people have is being too scared to leave their hiding spot lol
Yes! And Corporate Lockdown and Trauma DLCs happens simultaneously. When you're on Scorched Earth scenario in Corporate Lockdown with Ransome, you can see Dr. Lingard activating the explosion on Reoperation Scenario in Trauma that causes the lab explosion.
This game never gets old I love it, I miss my first play thru it was the most terrifying I think that's why I love the DLC's because I haven't memorized them or played them all yet. Thanks for the share
@Tanner Goodman When I first played it was hard, it was a stressful experience, but very satisfying. To this day I play this game, it is simply phenomenal. Too bad it was and is extremely underestimated by the public.
5:35- I think the reason why it didn't fell for the noisemaker was because you have already used a distraction before when you secured the armory and we all know it learns from its mistakes as the game/mission is progressing onwards...quite smart indeed.
It’s s shame most who play this game are too young to have felt what the movie Alien was like back in the day... it’s a movie that can never be duplicated. This game captured the feel well... side note this game is way easier with a mouse. Jesus
If you did indeed buy all the maps than you probably need to go download the maps.. basement comes standard and the other maps need to be downloaded seperately, afaik.
Fighting and wasting time would be the choice of a stupid man incapable of escaping the AI otherwise- and not the behavior of someone who can set the Highscore in nightmare mode (which the survival alien AI is)
Lol. Well then, it's about damn time a game exists that i am good at. I used to spend all my time playing an old Battlefield game and i was abysmal. I continued to play though, and my luck always somehow got worse. 😂
Haha never really felt like i needed to. I do occasionally lean straight up from behind an object, but not in my videos i don't think. I can usually just go by sound most of the time. I know, it's a great mechanic that I neglected... oh well :/

Honestly don’t need the detector much after that
Correct assessment.

Does the same apply to the campaign?

Lmao when he just ignored the noisemaker. Like “ah yah I’ve seen this before.”
Crouching is walking for me. Walking is sprinting.
And sprinting is a death wish.
Yep
Walking made things quicker. Crouching made things 2x slower.
[Mission start: completely avoids picking up flamethrower at the bottom of the steps in safe zone]
Bold move, my friend.
Bloody hell - this brings it all back. The most immersive game of all time. RIP Sevastopol Station!
Cool
any encounter with the alien inside a vent is terrifying!
Chantit Simma actually any event seeing him is terrifying
No he’s right well at lease the vent encounters are more terrifing
That's why I refused to go into the vents whenever possible
@@cameronswain3292 first game that actually got my heart rate going
Ik the fear of that especially in crew expendable
I think everyone will agree that the design of the game is beyond stellar
The most terrifying thing is no save points 😧😨😰😱
True, and I mean, it IS called Survivor Mode
5:19 Holy shit he didn't fall for that
That really threw me off! As you could probably tell by my disoriented movements afterward.

2:30 the absolute Balls you have for pulling that maneuver
Holy crap at the end

U mean balls
@@KIRA-h1w Nope, it's Heart. It's a freaking alien that could spook you from ventilation system on ceiling and instant kill when you're spotted.
I wouldn’t last five minutes playing this, I’m so bad at the normal game lol

Now he didn't use the motion tracking device
Omg right at the very end.. 😨
Somebody help me please, I bought all the survival mode maps, and I can only play with the first one (basement)

you are playing so good°
Ur heart must have been racing alot
It’s amazing how much better this game looks on pc. This makes Xbox one look like crap.
Orkin vs the xenomorph
You got a death wish..
A true Legend plays among us.
Sus
🔥🔥🔥
So I have no internet connection but play my alien iso on my 360 and I don't know where the nightmare mode is or where to play other characters
You need to have the connection to have the dlc
You have 6 Bullets and weapons yet you dont kill Androids. Have some balls, FIGHT ON!
I think he does have ball simply by not fighting them 😮
I guess you also forgot the fact that he made the hole run without the flamethrower.....thats some balls of steel ill tell you that !

Bro, it’s so scary after you collect visitor registry data in first map
For some reason the xeno has that hallway on lockdown once you go in that room.
So you have to die on purpose at the end?
That was just a clip from one of my attempts prior to making this video. I should have let the screen go black for a while before playing it though.
