Love the VENTRAC. But I think that backpack blower was. the real star of the show in this video. puts my crappy little hand held one to Shane Another awesome video And. job Well done.
Sugestão: procure fazer a limpeza sempre dos fundos do quintal para a frente da casa...porque se você limpa primeiro na frente...quando vc passar com as folhas da parte do fundo da casa...vai sujar a frente novamente.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I did it this way on purpose. I wanted to get the bulk of the leaves in the front piled up by the driveway before I ran over them with the Ventrac too many times. They tend to break down pretty quickly when you run over them and then it takes more time to move them to the curb. Hope that makes sense. Appreciate you watching!
Thank you! So many leaves to clean up! I try to tackle this one before it starts raining on the Winter. It makes it 10x harder once the leaves get wet. Appreciate you watching. 👍

Thank you for that word. I appreciate it. Had a nice sunset at the end of a hard day of work. Can’t beat that! Thanks for taking the time to comment. Have a great week!
I love leaf videos. I made a combination leaf Blower/ leaf plow this year for my Steiner 430 max. I mounted an old 7.5 horse power leaf blower on a Steiner hitch years ago, and I cobbled together a leaf plow using my 8 ft aluminum loading ramps and some spare hardware cloth, and scrap wood. I held it all together with clamps and a ratchet strap.
@ oh wow, that’s awesome. Whatever works. I have a friend that made a leaf plow for his Ventrac out of an old bed. It did the trick. Thanks for sharing!
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouriI like to a blower like that but they weigh too much for my back. I bought an Echo that was the lightest one I could find. Being 74 years old and 5 foot 4 inches and 112 pounds and 3 issues with my back and using the blower 5 to 6 hours at a time it was my best option.
Hello Cameron! Great job on this yard and that was a powerful lot of leaves!!😊. Take care and God bless you and your family. I pray you had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year. Sincerely, Diane a fellow Missourian. P.S. I used to mulch all the leaves; but this year there were so many more, that I used the blower and bagged them up for the city to come by and pickup! 😊
Hey Diane! 👋 So many leaves on this one! I’m glad your city still comes by and picks up the leaves. Makes it very convenient for the homeowner. Thank you for the blessings. Hope you had a great Christmas. Have a blessed 2025! 🙏
@ Yeah I do. Some of the townships do leaf collection but the areas that don’t I just load them in the back of my pickup truck. Some of my properties have woods I can blow them in too. You can fit more in the truck bed when they’re wet. I just use one of those big green landscaping trash cans. I’d like to get a setup like you have eventually haha. Having a leaf plow or something to pull the tarps would help out a lot. How many years did you have to do leaf removals with just a blower, rake, and tarp until you got all this equipment?
@ oh ok I gotcha. You can make a lot of money just mulching leaves up. Just focus on the properties where mulching makes sense. Same thing with blowing the leaves into the woods. I’ve been in business for 22 years. I bought the dump trailer and leaf vac back in 2018. So I’ve been offering curbside pickup leaf removal for the past 7 years. Before that, I mulched them all with the zero turns. Every year I just try to get a little more efficient. One year it’s a new blower. Next year it’s the plow. Next year a dump trailer. Next year a leaf vac. Etc.
Ohh yeah !!! Bring on the leaves ! I'll comment after :) I was looking for the old video with the guy working on the car again 🤣 Couldn't find it ! Anyway you definitely needed all the tools to make that a one day job !! Looked so much better as usual. Happy New Year !!🥳🎉
NEW subscriber here 🖐🏻😎. Excellent job all the way around. That backpack blower is no joke. And the blower on the mower is impressive as well. I’m loving the content. Great work !!! Looks fantastic !!
Awesome! Thank you for subscribing. The backpack blower is unbelievable. So much power! And yeah, the blower on the mower is next level! Glad you’re enjoying the content. More videos coming soon…
All of my leaves get blown into the woods on my property so they can degrade by Mother Nature. Thankfully I have enough acreage to enable me to dispose of them in this fashion.
Wow! That’s a lot of work! You’re doing this solo!! Not 4 or, 5 people helping. That cuts labor costs. Still, a lot of work. But, the customer got the job done at a reasonable price.
Lot of work for one person, for sure! But the equipment really makes all the difference. I wouldn’t be able to tackle a job like this without the leaf plow, vacuum, and blowers. I’ve decided to spend my money on equipment rather than employees. So far it’s been working out. Thanks again for taking time to watch. I appreciate it!
Nice work from a guy who does it for a living, i rum a echo 9010 rest of crew uses Stihl 600-800. Tried to talk boss into getting a leaf pusher. I’m in the process of fixing/ rebuilding a toro with a large blower on it I believe the blower is 20k CFM not the biggest blower but I think it with move a leaf or two lol
@ it’s a older toro groundsmaster 217D. Had a 2 cylinder diesel engine in it but the injection pump is bad and they don’t make those or the parts to repair it, I’m putting a 23 horse kohler in it. The blower is not a turbine blower just a old school fan type about 30 inches tall
When i lived in town every body raked them to the street I did not I ground them up with the lawn mower as I farm and the leaves are nutrients also and I never fertilized the lawn and my lawn are greener than the others and in 3 years every body was grinding them up and leaving it on the grass and they also stopped fertilizing the lawns
If you have a good stand of grass, mulching the leaves into the ground will definitely be the best fertilizer for the lawn. But if the grass is pretty thin, it will hurt it more than help. Appreciate you watching! Keep that grass looking GREEN.
Excellent work Cameron. That was a heck of a pile of leaves. One or two more sets of hands would have been nice to have had. With all of the walnuts I saw on the ground there should be some fat squirrels around the. Lol. Nothing like a good meds of squirrel or rabbit for dinner. You did an awesome job brother. lol. Keep up the great work man. Bruce in Wv!!!
Hey Bruce! Thanks for the continued support. It would have been nice to have one person running the blower while another person manned the Ventrac Leaf Plow! Definitely could have sped things up for sure. I didn’t see any squirrels 🐿️ around, but there’s always deer tracks in the front yard where those hickory nuts were laying. I’m sure this place is one of their favorite stops to fill up!
Great job curious how much does something like this cost I pay to have mine blown once a year $80 for 100 ft section not picked up just blown into woods is it too much?
Thank you! Appreciate you taking the time to watch. This particular job was around $450 to get the leaves to the curb and haul them off. Most companies around here won't show up for anything under $85. We just have too much overhead to show up for any less. I think $80 for any manual labor work is definitely worth the price! Thanks again for watching.
A little time consuming, but not too bad. I finished late and by the time I went over to his house it was too dark to check it out. I planned on going by the next week, but it’s been raining non-stop here…
Most people around here will wait between Thanksgiving and Christmas to have their leaves removed. The majority of the leaves are on the ground by that time. I don’t have a blower for the Ventrac, but I sure could use one! Although, the Leaf Plow is by far the better choice compared to the blower for the Ventrac. You can just move so many more leaves with the leaf plow.
Cameron awesome job and your equipment and leaf rig is on point. My ventrac business pretty much shuts down from Dec to Feb in North Texas as I don’t do leaves unless they want mulching. I wanted to know your thoughts on the ventrac blower and leaf vac system. Would it add any advantage to your current system?
Thank you!!!! It has turned off rainy here in Mowssouri, so this Winter things may slow down a little bit. It all depends on the weather. Sometimes it will stay dry enough for us to work through the Winter. Other times, it’s just not possible. I think the Ventrac blower would definitely be beneficial. But the leaf plow can actually move more leaves over a bigger area quicker. Once the blower piles the leaves knee to waist high, you can’t really push them further without the leaves wanting to come back on top of you. That’s where the leaf plow can quickly take a big pile of leaves and move them out of there. I’ve thought about the leaf collection system, but I think it would cost too much to get into it. I would have to get the leaf collection system plus a finish mowing deck. On top of that, I don’t think it would make it much more efficient with the setup that I have. Hope that helps!
Lol in 22 years of running the lawn care business, I’ve never worn one out. It’s not as drastic as it sounds. The video was sped way up. Appreciate you watching. 👍
Happy New Year! Maybe that the guy next door is using the car thing as a shield so that he can stand out there and make sure you don't blow anything into the street that may end up on his lawn. Maybe though, you working makes him want to come out and do something. There is an older man across from the church I mow that almost always comes out after I show up and start working and he has done that for years now. He'll putter around in his garage or driveway or start edging his drive etc.. Almost always in black shoes of some sort, white knee high socks, black shorts and no shirt. It's comical.😆
Thank you! Haha yeah I would say that you are probably right. The neighborhood watch dog. Gotta make sure that there are no outsiders coming into the subdivision that are up to no good lol. Appreciate you taking the time to watch. Have a blessed week! 🙏
The guy down the hill is either checking out your equipment (which is awesome) or he is looking to see if any leaves comes his way. That was a huge job and you did a great job doing it. I'm glad you wore your mask. I am a lady and I blow up all my leaves and rake some too. I can burn in my neighborhood so first half of the day is getting them up in the pile and usually still out at dark burning. It is relaxing to sit and burn with a big glass of sweet tea. Just so I know, how much did this cost the owner?
Haha...very possible! What type of blower are you using on your lawn? A handheld or backpack blower? Nothing better than a cold glass of sweet tea at the end of the day. 🤠 This one was around $450 I believe. Thanks for the support. I appreciate it!
I really like that leaf blower, that was a lot of leaves. But that leaf blower was spectacular. I would like to know how much it is and where i can purchase one. It sure would be nice.loved this video, Happy 2025 to you.🙂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ohhh yeah! The Redmax EBZ9000 is so powerful! It retails for $799. Definitely not cheap, but worth every penny. Saves me a lot of time! Appreciate the support. Have a blessed 2025! 🙏
Seems like the back can be blown into the woods, even without clogging up the evergreens. And why clean the front first, if you still push everything from the back to the front?
It’s hard to get behind all of those shrubs with the backpack blower. Just not much room to work. And there is a lot more leaves there than it looks in the video. As far as the cleanup process goes, you want to minimize the amount of times you drive over the leaves with the Ventrac. The leaves are much easier to blow when they are whole leafs, not a bunch of pieces of leaves. The more you run over them, the quicker the leaves break down into pieces. So you move the bulk of the leaves closest to the dump site first and then work backwards from there. Then do a final sweep once the bulk of the leaves are gone. Much quicker doing it this way. Appreciate you watching! 👍
Absolutely not! They used to come by neighborhoods and suck up the leaves at the curb for the residents, but they stopped doing it years ago. They couldn’t keep their vacuum running. It was always broken down.
When the leaves are packed tight we use a small three or four finger curved hooked. Imagine a hoe. With just fingers it will help break the pile of leaves
Oh yeah, I know exactly what you’re talking about. Thanks for the tip. I’ve been using the mulch fork and it’s been working great. But with this many leaves, it’s just going to take a while.
@ yeah I know we clean out cemeteries. It normally takes a crew four or five about three weeks to clean it completely. It’s all done pretty much by backpack blowers and then if we get too many leaf, we will use a mower and just use the deck at 1 inch but you’re right it works
With power, comes decibels. Definitely a loud, but very powerful blower! Legend has it that my beard never stopped growing after that leaf removal job. But I did hear that the leaves stopped dropping once the Ventrac left out of there. The trees may or may not have been shocked by the equipment tackling all those leaves. Appreciate you taking time to watch. 👍
looks to my like your method is incredibly inefficient. doing to to three times the work is not a good way to make money. mulch and bag them or just put a vacuum attachment on one of your implements and drive around the yard sucking the leaves up then dump them. who am I to question a "professional" though???
I guess this is one of those times where “looks can be deceiving” on camera. It’s very efficient moving those pile of leaves with the blower/plow combo. In the past I tried bagging them and dumping them at the curb, but it took twice as long. Now if the customer allowed me to mulch them and then pick up what’s left over, that would have sped things up some. But the customer wants all leaves blown to the curb and nothing mulched on the lawn. Every situation we get into is different. Thanks for taking time to check out the video. 👍
Very Impressive If that were my home I'd be super happy with that service .

Your back pack blower seemed more powerful than most brands.
It’s the biggest, baddest, backpack blower out right now. It can move a LOT of leaves!
@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri I wouldn't expect you to not have the biggest and baddest. How is the weight compared to the other inferior models?
It’s actually weighs about the same with a full tank of gas. It weighs a little less empty though. Around 26lbs
Looked Good for sure and I can only bet time consuming. Were you able to help the neighbor?
A little time consuming, but not too bad. I finished late and by the time I went over to his house it was too dark to check it out. I planned on going by the next week, but it’s been raining non-stop here…

Est ce que la ville vous indemnise?
Absolutely not! They used to come by neighborhoods and suck up the leaves at the curb for the residents, but they stopped doing it years ago. They couldn’t keep their vacuum running. It was always broken down.
So did you work till after sunset?
Always…
It really would be much easier if you have a helper or two.
Always nice to have help! Thanks for watching c
Is this done every week? or has it been a month? That's a lot of leaves and if it's been a month I don't think the city needs to pick them up.
The leaves haven’t been touched all year. Most ppl around here just let them all drop before they mess with em.
I mulch them up in my yard.
Good fertilizer! Thanks for tuning in! 💯
This sure be a big paying job
It works out pretty good considering the time I spent on the job. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
How much you charge for something like this
That one was around $450 I believe. Thanks for watching!

Leaves for days! Thank you for watching!
Car guy neighbor is probably just making sure your not getting any leaves in his clean yard Or he's got the hots for you
Haha 😂. I just cleaned up this yard, he better not blow any leaves over here on me!
1. Holy crap that blower is loud.
2. Your beard grew 4 inches by the time you finished the job.
3. That must have been an expensive job.
5:53 maybe he likes to watch you.
Haha maybe so
Wish I lived closer to you, you could dump all of the leaves for free with me. I will compost them.
Makes really great compost! Thanks for watching!
looks to my like your method is incredibly inefficient. doing to to three times the work is not a good way to make money. mulch and bag them or just put a vacuum attachment on one of your implements and drive around the yard sucking the leaves up then dump them. who am I to question a "professional" though???
I guess this is one of those times where “looks can be deceiving” on camera. It’s very efficient moving those pile of leaves with the blower/plow combo. In the past I tried bagging them and dumping them at the curb, but it took twice as long. Now if the customer allowed me to mulch them and then pick up what’s left over, that would have sped things up some. But the customer wants all leaves blown to the curb and nothing mulched on the lawn. Every situation we get into is different. Thanks for taking time to check out the video. 👍
