    Alot of shade tree mechanics have no idea that the vehicle is controlled by the computer and sensors, modules etc. One guy, argued with me about a throttle body. Had to relearn.he was very rude and said he'd never heard of such bullshit 😮. He said it would not idle down because of the gasket 😊. I just rolled and handed him the GM throttle body lol . He kinda ate his words. Couldn't get original GM throttle body so I installed a Hitachi after market one. Only way ECM would relearn it was through my scanner 😅. 😂 Thank you for helping me learn more about New systems 😊

    I just had a 24 promaster same condition, but was brought in with the harness missing. I poured over powers and grounds and bus resistance. Had the Pico scope on it. Load tested and ohm tested until I was completely doubting myself. I knew it was the missing harness and was arguing with the body shop but your vid helped seal the deal. Great vid 👍.

    I think because the ignition node was never able to switch on and off the codes were never able to erase but everything was good just the codes were active and never changed status. But once you got the adaptive cruse control back on line and the ignition node started working the codes were able to erase and the rf got the correct key info ,now i dont know what the adaptive cruse control and the key node share but it worked mabe its tied with the stearing system and without the adaptive cruse control the ignition node wont work .thats all i can think brian thanks for sharing ur videos

      @@BrianMann216 ⁠ Hey I was wondering what I would need to tune my 2012 Toyota Avalon I’ve called a lot of places and drove there to see if they can tune it but they all say they can’t nor do I know why they can’t. Is it even possible for me to tune it?

    I was working on a chrysler adaptive cruse plug did not seat . No start had to disconnect batter to to turn off . Same symptoms. .sqeezed plug solved everything

    Brian first off you amaze me how you come in to troubleshoot a problem with that total mess. My concern with a vehicle in that condition could you cause another issue by plugging in modules you have no idea why they are unplugged . I probably would have approached it the same way you did by checking the schematic but I think I would have wanted the vehicle in a state of reassembly more representing a vehicle. Did they need that issue resolved before any of their reassembling could continue ? Do you know why they needed that portion of the repair done at that time ? Thanks for sharing and oh get that hair groomed Lol 😊

      Hi Arthur, thanks for watching! I had no idea that the front end was off this vehicle when I had received the call! I think the bumper was off so they could used the frame straightener to pull out the crash damage. We can discuss more at next meeting .

    This diagnosis is very interesting, but why does the PCM not communicate if according to the diagram the PCM is connected before the i283A connector and not after? I think the diagram has an error and the PCM is connected after the I283A, that is why the network is restored.
    Muy interesante ese diagnóstico, pero por que no comunica el PCM si según el diagama el PCM está conectado antes del conector i283A y no después, yo creo que el diagrama tiene un error y el PCM esta conectado despues del I283A por eso se restablece la red.

      It's is interesting,, note that connections for the acc is just like a pigtail extension, the scope pattern at the ecm for can c looked proper( not like when there is a open in the network).

    Any signs of broken wires causing the fuse to pop?

      They replaced the fuse box due to the hit, they were missing , not sure if they had blown previously.

      In the last few years I was using cardaq 3 , however there have been many issues with any j box so now using mdp
