A ton of people were asking me about that lovely Nori Green color on the new GX so here we go. I got quite the surprise with the two tone interior which I am a fan of.
Lexus needs to paint that wheel well trim and rocker trim in gloss black on these 2 tone models. That would be absolute fire!

The one thing that bothers me is that you're forced to get the green suede interior accents and getting the overtrail models. It looks good if you're getting Earth or Nori green but any other color and it just seems very odd.
I mean it’s noticeable but not overpowering.
Hey Mike, can you show us the RX wrapped in violet metallic purple from the SEMA show? It was lined up in the background. It’s gorgeous with the wrap and 22 aftermarket wheels! 🤤

Excellent video, I was torn when buying my LX, I liked the green, but the Maganese Luster with Peppercorn and black wood was just too ridiculous to walk away from, and just as critical, my lady loved it. Early this year, when I was buying some were taking whatever color they could get AND paying well North of sticker. I was fortunate and got the combo we wanted, and the Ft. Myers Lexus dealer was excellent, although that was the first time I ever paid sticker for a car and felt ok about it.

Nori green is very good paired with silver accents and grill, when pairing with black it’s looks too dark. I like the road presence of Nori green Lexus ES, it enhance the grill and whole car itself.
There's a lot to like about this new model, but I'm not a fan of the tail light that spans the entire distance of the rear as I really wish they offered a split tailgate option. Factory off-road bumpers would also be nice to improve approaching departure angles.
Mike do you know whether two tone black roof will be available for luxury or luxury +? So far have only seen on overtrail but assume it should be an option on luxury trims
Seems to be exclusive to overtrail. Things can change by production or it can be wrapped.

In this video I heard -- “That’s one thing I think every review and UA-camr- most of them I think don’t know what their doing but they get the views”…--as this UA-camr shows the wheel and comments on how great the brakes are with no supporting info simply says ”as you can see the GX is no different” The green suede you were so surprised about was discussed / viewed by the UA-camrs who don’t know what they are doing back during the reveal.
I’m not a youtuber. This is for fun and helping people is of interest. It’s far from my actual career. No one can provide driving impressions of the GX yet. Historically Lexus brakes have been superb.

Plus the hybrid powertrain is way more CO2 friendly during idle compares to the V8.
@@MikeForsytheexactly. Towing capacity and performance rip the old model while still getting better gas mileage. Fucking accomplishment!!
They should have added chrome accents and chrome front grill especially for the nori green paint. Chrome would have stood out a lot against a darker color like nori green. Beige interior would have been great too. But maybe Luxury appeal is for the lexus lx 600 while the gx is more overlanding focused. Still they missed out on enhancing the looks of this car.
The website says the Overtrail has the option for the Chateau interior with green accents, so someone agrees with you at HQ. Honestly I wish they had offered the saddle tan on all the trims, I think it looks more luxurious but too each their own.
Those running boards have to go. They would be useless offroad.
The ones on the luxury grade retract. I think that makes more sense.
