$7 Million buried does not multiply! It is still $7 Million today assuming it's still there. Granted some of the bills may be worth over face value to collectors but it's a far cry from $150,000,000.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I have looked into Connecticut. Connecticut has a lot of Captain Kidd treasures. I am planning to do "treasures of Captain Kidd" that will include several Connecticut treasures. There are also others that will be covered in separate videos. That is what I have planned now.

I’m the beginning of the video he said it was $7,000,000 which was equivalent to $150,000,000 of today’s money. By the end of the video he was saying it was $150,000,000 instead of $7,000,000

7,000,000 then, 150,000,000 now. There are links to the references in the description.

I think.... When you stash @7,000,000 CASH, in the 1930's, in 2021, UNLESS that cash GREW IN QUANTITY, $7,000,000 CASH is STILL $7,000,000 CASH !!! Unless you stash Gold or Silver, then the value would go up...SMH

Yes, 7 million then is 7 million now. Quantity doesn't change, value does. The point is that the value of a dollar was more then than it is now because of inflation. So, having 7 million then would be equivalent to having greater than 7 million now. It's actually exactly the same for gold and silver. The quantity of stashed gold or silver doesn't change. The market value does. However, the market value for gold and silver changes opposite to cash. That's why you invest in gold and silver during periods of high inflation.

i have never seen this before now . my dad was a Mafia bootlegger in the 40 and 50 ,ran shine from Bollix, Mississippi to Northern NY .. .. and... i know what this means .. you wont believe what it really says "A boy has never wept...nor dashed a thousand kin.
You can play jacks, and girls do that with a soft ball and do tricks with it.
Oh, Oh, dog Biscuit, and when he is happy he doesn't get snappy." he is telling you where his stash is ...in shiner's bootlegger's code ...lol

@@HiddenTreasuresMysteries i already know what it says ..i will give you a good hit for your site .. OK . the saying was put in a story book 3 years after Schultz Death by Robert L May . the early wording is not "a boy has never wept." the wording sounds very close to that ... the saying was . " A Toy is never kept " it shows up in the early drafts of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer that came out in a booklet in 1939 . distributed by Montgomery Ward that's where my father worked as a repair man ,all over the new England area ..the story back then was more about misfit toys ! my father was a Family man and i wont add anything beyond this point . but hope you enjoy the feed back ...

If there was a map and that map was taken, then that money is long gone. You'll probably find that money with Meyer Lansky's stash cause that's probably who took the map.

First off all these stories have been passed around for so long that it has not become a whole mixup.
There never was a map ever and good ol' lulu never opened his mouth.
That safe isnt in phonecia ny (common sense, he would drive all the way up there and bury it where he does business)
And all the blabbers who supposedly knew him are full of shit he had barely any friends and the people close to him were scared of what he was capable of doing to them. He trusted no one not even his 3 girlfriends. That safe is right there in westchesrer county ny and i guarantee its there but the area is not accessable and private.
