To acctuly look trough all the regions u need a whole lot more than 2 weeks, though u can take a day for each and atleast get a taste of it. And your accomodation should be near the capital Ljubljana so that u have the minimum travel time to all the parts.

Went to Slovenia about two years ago and did a trip around the county. Lake Bled, Piran, Postanja, Novo Mesto, Maribor, Ljuljlana. Beautiful.
We had a great time visiting last year....would love to live there someday.
