beautiful fall fellah's - talking wedge bangs - ganges hits his wedge - buckin follow's suit. it's simply amazing watching these two grow as father and son, also as business partners hitting the tree work together. I can only wish and pray one day I can so so with my son, whatta dream come true that would be.

Working with your son is priceless👍👍 all my sons and daughter worked with me plumbing but they all went back to college but I enjoyed all of our time together. Now they have finished college I think the two oldest ones are going to take over funny how that works out!! Thanks for sharing your video👍

New member of Buckin's "be kind" brigade here.
First cup, tree beast, chip off the old block, with a little pucker factor thrown in.
Gets the juices flowing for the new day.
    Ya'll are a blessing.
    That's what it is.
I know a blessing when I see it.
    Be safe.🤠👍

As an experienced faller you do a great job Buckin', but you seriously got to love this kid. He's so freakin' eager to work and so eager to learn. We all know falling trees becomes a total different ballgame when you see the tip of your bar disappearing into a big tree, but Hogan did an awesome job there.
And thanks for all the explaining, by the way. As a trucker I'm still hitting the road every day for the simply reason that supply's are also needed during this (semi) lockdown in the Corona crisis. I there for don't have the extra time to watch stuff on UA-cam, but simply do it when I can. It's pretty simple to pause a video and watch another part later, so no worries about the length.
    Stay safe you guys!

Talent is demonstrating something that is or can be very difficult and making it look very easy. I have been addicted to your channel recently as I have taken over as a helper for timbering very large ranch in Colorado. Most of the trees are not very big (aspen) but some can be quite tricky being on steep hillsides. Your tips and videos have helped me greatly, Thank you Billy Ray!

Hi Buckin I came here via the Morgans and as old as I am I am learning stuff. My team is a bit more aged than yours as I am 78 and my son is your age at 50. We don't cut em down much any more and get our firewood by the triaxle load 26 feet long. We cut, split and stack every spring and this year it feels like we are doing it in a spring as it rains most days. My son has a critical job so he is not laid off. He fills medical oxygen cylinders for local hospitals and nursing homes and those at home.

Hi BB Ray, just joined from here in California. In the Sierra Nevadas where some huge trees exist. 77 years young and had to sell the 288 XP last year. Too much to handle. Doin' OK with the 268XP and 24" bar. Learning a lot in your videos, seems you live like I do. Think about the other person BEFORE you say or do anything. Be kind. Seems like you inspire a lot of sober folks. Keep up the good work and stay safe in these terrible times.
Thanx to you I have the sharpest chains in the woods.

Folks may get tired of hearing me say this but................these videos of you and Hogan reducing shade are most favorite by far pal!!!! I would've given anything to break in behind my ol man on a hillside before the economy brought him out of the woods and he hung up his hob nail shoes (caulks). But he helps me cut firewood a few times a year, he's now got a simmington grinder that I need to learn (as we both know silvey grinders), so I can still cut with him just not in this type capacity like yourself and the gangolics haha. Keep these coming when it's part of the plan and safe cuttin BC fallers!! All BC fallers in general but especially our two favorite Smith timber fallers

On the 5th of this month here in Tennessee we had ONE Covid-19 case.Today, just 23 days later, we have 1373 and except for the four larger cities, it's pretty rural. Lots of trees, but none as big and beautiful as yours except in the national park. Be careful what you touch out in the world, like at the gas pump, and wash your hands. In '71 or '72 we cut and split cedar rails from a USFS windfall @ 5,000 feet elevation....to put in front of a State Fire Station. The fence still survives. The rot you guys see is very interesting...must be the altitude and moisture...not to mention the bugs.

WE have 60 acres to work for thinning and a lot of tight bunches, Your techniques are very helpful I would like to see more of how to handle hang
ups in tight places where you can't cut a saved tree. We have oak, ash, poplar, Hawthorn, of which most are less that 50 years old. The forest density is such that you can not avoid hangups.

Shame those beautiful trees were rotting. Atleast theres work an father and son time together. To learn more is essential. An a high energy person BBRS gets to work some of that coffee off. A chance to teach an learn an bond is invaluable.
