Hi Deepthi, I founded and head Amura. People put on weight for many, many reasons (e.g., thyroid deficiency, iron deficiency, stomach acid deficiency...). Most common among them being insulin resistance. When the weight gain is due to insulin resistance and nothing else, it is usually easy to lose weight through DIYs (do it yourself). When someone has multiple reasons for their weight gain, it usually requires someone with deep medical knowledge to dismantle them. One example that comes to my mind is "low stomach acid leading to low iodine, iron and zinc leading to low thyroid and iron deficient anemia leading to weight gain (due to thyroid deficiency), binge eating (due to iron deficiency) and further depletion of stomach acid, leading to insulin resistance leading to further weight gain.... It usually takes a doctor with specialised training to even diagnose it.

Amura doesn’t respond to people. They’ve celebrities and only focus on them. A lot of them have commented about their unresponsive attitude on their insta posts, I’m also one of them. Tried reaching out on WhatsApp, email and call, they don’t pay any heed.
