I don´t know what it is but your charismatic approach to conveying the way a car behaves and handles makes your reviews simply the best. It is difficult not to smile while watching you enjoy the experience, it almost feels like sitting next to you on the passenger seat !
As always, the commentary for these videos is excellent and keeps me coming back, but the portion from 6:22-7:15 from behind the cabin, overlooking the road ahead, with no dialogue, and only the engine purring away, now THAT was some vblog magic 👏

The pista in general is what the original 488 should of been. I'm surprised no coupe has come up with the idea of lowering the back window. I'm sure it can be engineered to work
I have said this until I was blue in the face. All my cars are convertibles! AMG SL55, Audi RS4 and other top optional machines. Ferrari, and other high performance manufacturers, brag about their F1 accolades and how what they learn from racing filters down to their road cars. You know what else is "filtered" down and no one ever mentions it? I pose my answer as a question. Have you ever seen an F1 race car with a roof? The closest way to feeling what an F1 driver feels, hears (and smells) is to drive a car that has no top just like his car! Having a car that can let the smells, the sound, sun on your face and wind in your hair is just more fun than any coupe IMO. It's all about the experience and bliss not the track times or perceived loss of structural rigidity. Most people who scoff at convertibles have never owned one and experienced what he is trying to explain. Bravo.
I guess I now understand better why someone would buy a track focused *convertible* 🤷🏻♂️ Up till now I really didn't care about 488 Pista Spider, Huracan Performante Spyder, GT R Roadster, 458 Speciale A, 675 LT Spider, 600 LT Spider... they just didn't make sense to me, thanks James for opening my mind to those cars, great content as usual 👍🏻
