Just saw it in ABQ last night. When I checked the setlist for AZ and saw that they opened with TNDNBTG I knew they had to close with Euclid. I definitely cried.
Well, I don’t think that was it in the first place. We all know Vessel is an EXTREMELY emotional dude. He often cries during his performances. He is a VERY raw individual. Like he seems like he wears his emotions on his sleeves essentially, and I honestly think it had nothing to do with he wasn’t ready to move on. I think he had to emotionally steel himself to be able to sing that tune live. Just my thoughts.
Been slowly getting into their stuff and their lore gives me COD zombies vibes with all the Easter eggs and lore that’s ingrained but you have to look , if that makes same. Their music tho is gorgeous and an ear worm
Interesting thoughts. I'm of the opinion that One, Two, and the singles as well as Shelter (From The Room Below) are all part of the story and even go so far as to think that Vessel's pre-Sleep Token musical projects are also part of the story. There are recurring themes and motifs in the pre-Sleep Token songs that appear in Sleep Token songs! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
As you guys have said, this aged like milk😂 Sleep Token have finally debuted Euclid live and here's my reaction ⬇️ ua-cam.com/video/iMTax7sOJZ0/v-deo.htmlsi=rqxsXJSzCaYUgIwz
I think that Bloos Sport simply has a very personal meaning to the vocalist itself, hence why they played it. Though I agree, Euclid would've been such a better song to close off Wembley
@@Slip0824 Guess what!? I actually was at that Austin show too, I got a pit ticket and could not resist and it was AMAZING wasn't it?! The whole night was magical, the only thing that I would ever complain about was the couple that was both so drunk and she both altercations attacked the man first,
Went to The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri. Absolutely beautiful performance with just that at the very end. Euclid couldn’t have been more perfect to end it all of with. Even got a recording of the entire song. Absolutely love Sleep Token. Looking forward to more albums in the future.
There are a lot of songs they have not performed live and there are heaps of valid reasons for that. Some to do with ‘what fans want/know’ some to do with technicality of the song, some slower/with longer silence moments are simply not suitable for a mixed ( with fans of other bands at the gig) audience and some personal choice. Perhaps Vessel would consider going again shows such as the one from the Room Below where he strips the songs to just him and piano. I would love that and I am sure he wont be playing the Summoning there.
I don't know about fans not knowing songs. I think they've proven how immersed they can get. I'm sure there's a couple of tracks that are unpopular, but many of the songs they haven't played yet don't belong in that category and have been requested too. I know some songs have parts that would be difficult to pull live. Maybe the setlist is too big. I mean, these guys only have two or three fillers on their entire discography. 😂 As for a second room below show, I would love to see that.
And here I am, wishing that they performed “Gods” live but I’ll manage. It’s definitely different from their other heavier tracks but just the one time would have been something. That middle section with the choir and Vessel’s vocals gets me every time.
@@NimrodRodriguez absolutely this. The first time listened to "Are You Really Ok?" I was driving the work van and I had to pull over. Man, it absolutely shot me out of nowhere.
With The Night Doesn't Belong to God as the opening and the ending being Euclid with Missing Limbs in the middle, I was sobbing. Seeing them live is life changing.
you realize they aren’t going to debut euclid at wembley when he isn’t in condition to sing? and every show they’ve played so far on tour is a festival so of course they aren’t going to debut it when the audience isn’t there for them. just wait for the actual shows before you jump to conclusions. people need to stop theorizing EVERY SMALL THING and realize MAYBE it’s because they aren’t ready to play the song yet physically
Blood sport is very personal and very sad. It's about having a love that isn't healthy. I don't think it would be fitting to end an entire concert with such a sad and personal note. But nonetheless, that is one of my favorite sad sleep token songs so it's a bummer they didn't perform it at all. Maybe that'll change in the future.
Euclid also mentions songs from their 1st two EPs. Why do people only mention the only 3 full albums they did? I am not going to mention which songs they were....do the deep dive and you will know. BTW i have only been listening to this band for 3 weeks now.
London December 3rd is the last show of the year/tour/album cycle for TMBTE…..my money is…..final song, of the final show for this album cycle, that’s where they’ll play it live. Makes too much sense.

Well this aged like milk lol
I swear they played Euclid
I remember crying while they played it
Currently ending the shows with this three-song progression:
Ascensionism
Take Me Back To Eden
Euclid
Saw it in Pittsburgh and it was SPIRITUAL!!!
thanks for letting me know. This video is click bait!!
The apparition needs a live version
Seconded
Just witnessed Euclid live in Arizona. Amazing.

Same with me in Austin last night, the perfect ending!!!
I can’t believe they blessed Phoenix with the live debut of Euclid. So amazing! We are part of Sleep Token history!!
They've also never done High Water which was my favorite song from TPWBYT. So hauntingly beautiful I yearn to hear it live.
I love that one too. Strange.
+1
Agreed, my favorite as well!
They haven't done The Apparition yet, either
yeah, saaame!! The Apparition for me as well, i would love to see the live versions of these songs!
Just listened to Euclid live tonight in ATL. Absolutely incredible song!!
I was there loved the show

They never play The Apparition either =[
☹️☹️
But why??? I’m confused.
Why do they NEEEEEEEEVER play it! 😂
THEY PLAYED IT TN
Wait I’m sorry they played ascensionism mb
I need to see "Apparition" live ASAP.
@@Kitkatterr I talked about it in my most recent vid. I might've figured out why they haven't done it yet.

GUESS WHAT
If you know, you know :)
@@thesunnyroad I mean everyone knows now lol
WHAT
HEY
I DON'T KNOW
@@mindintheclxvds they have in fact played this song live
omg I would give anything to see Euclid live.
Well, they are closing with it now 😂
I just saw it a couple weeks ago in Austin TX. It was amazing. I'm sure there are videos if you haven't already seen it.

They've never played Descending which would be INSANE to hear live ❤
PHOENIX AZ APRIL 30 2024 EUCLID WAS PLAYED LIVE!!!
I was at the tour where they debuted this song. Easily my favorite moment of the concert i didn't know it was coming.

just saw this song live at Red Rocks a couple of weeks ago, it was awesome.

I have a feeling due to Vessel not feeling well and having vocal issues that maybe it was scrapped at the last minute.
Euclid closer at Red Rocks was maybe the best live music experience I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of.
I'm going to see them live at the salt shed in Chicago on May 15th I hope they play it because it's my favorite song off the album
I'm here because I swear I've seen a short of them playing it somewhere man, I hope they play it in the future the song is beautiful
Send it my way if you find it please
Why they don’t play Are you Really OK?!?!?!?! That song is soooooooo good!!

They closed with Euclid here at Red Rocks on Sunday and it was beautiful!
They played Euclid at every North American tour stop
If they do Blood Sport this tour I'd be happy to ditch Euclid. Blood Sport is just so heart wrenchingly beautiful.

update: i told you so
this might sound silly but i think euclid is difficult for vessel not because of the technicality but because of the emotion
They didn't play "MINE" in AUSTIN. It was the first one I heard from them. It woke up my soul. WHY DIDN'T THEY PLAY IT????????
I need to hear High Water live
Me too
Uuuummmmm I just experienced this song live….. like, tonight….
They played Euclid at the end in Philly ❤

Played it live in Australia at the start of April
They close every show with Euclid now. Not a single dry eye in the entire arena
Oh, are you running it back? Should we give you 5 whole minutes?
Less
Saw it live in Asheville and it was AMAZING

Great thoughts though.
They played Euclid in ashville on the 8th
Ended the show in ABQ with Euclid.....
i was there… probably the best show on the tour due to the size of the venue!

Uh… depends on context, friend. Be careful when speaking on the meaning of songs you didn’t write. What it means to YOU is different.
It would make more sense for it to be the last song at the end of this tour.
Aged well 😂
You’re not gonna believe this but…
I knoww...
@user-hq7js2wf7h they finally played this song live recently on tour
@user-hq7js2wf7h they did play it live
I thought you were gonna say gods 😂 another song they haven’t performed live yet 😢
Not a big fan of Gods but it's strange they've never played that one either, even in the Sundowning era.
Saw it at Red Rocks!
That what they end the tour with now
Now make a video that they won't play jericho live 🙏
Why not? 👍
Update: I just found a video of them playing it at St. Pancras old church in London.
Well this video didnt age well. they played it to close their whole NA tour :)
Okay now record why they don't play Gods so maybe they will start playing it
