I think Lola had every right to give that POS a piece of her mind...He never made any effort to do what she claimed he said he would do...He took her for granted and earns the POS title...She was never able to vent her concerns, so I guess it all piled up and came out in one go!...However, she should have paid the rent, regardless, or saved funds to be able to move into a better home for Destiny and herself...She didn't help her situation by planning ahead!...It's very sad but it is what it is!
There might be reasons that she didn't save the rent money. Maybe she struggled being a single mom in a country where the cost of living has become inhumane for people in the lower income brackets. I say this as someone from a real 3rd World country - South Africa. We don't know the full story, we only know what the producers of this show want us to know. As the child of a single mother who brought me up alone - it touched my heart to see how much the lady loves her daughter. Sometimes, it is easy to judge someone else. Yet, we do not understand the full tapestry of their lives. That little girl doesn't want to change schools and lose her friends. She is sick in that house. They both are. That home is a health and safety hazard, but when you don't have a vision of you deserve better, you get stuck in what is familiar. My heart is with that beautiful little girl. I really honestly hope they will be ok. All Im saying is we don't know the full story.
Maybe she is just bad with money and has a history of not paying rent and making landlords go through expensive eviction proceedings to get her out. This would account for why, in 5 years, she didn't absolutely nothing and lives from bags and boxes. At the end of the day she has a child to care for and she needs to try a lot harder
Minute 6.11 those landlord need to get sued, wow that's mold over and it is toxic, they should hire a lawyer and sue the held of him, since repairs haven't being done all the rent she paid need to be refunded
If the landlord had to evict them after living there rent free for 18 months, she stayed there of her own will and wouldn't have left except the eviction order.
