I'm glad you addressed magnet safety. I'm just thinking about getting into this and I didn't even think of the damage of getting a finger caught with one.
He's very interesting and a worldly man. Quite a traveler too. Once you start watching his videos you will be hooked. He finds the nearest stuff. He's a walking history book. Lol. I've learned soooo much. I metal detect and magnet fish as well. I'm hooked now. You will be too. Have fun watching......
Thank you thank you thank you so much for picking up stuff trash and non decomposable material out of the river!!! When i see you pick stuff up that shouldn't be there i get to happy that someone like you who is out there because he want to be takes time out of his day to do something for earth.
@aquachigger i just wanted to say i had lost my passion for detecting after i lost my detector . but watching your videos has renewed my passion out of all the youtube detecting channels yours i watch every new video you post and have begun watching the older ones i have learned so much just by listening to your videos. and i wanted to say thank you for re inspiring me to try and get a new detecor and start hunting again. all the best in future hunts. cant wait to see what your gonna find next
Thank you for the wonderful "time" spent on the river! I so enjoyed looking around... I can't get out on the water anymore..it was so nice spending time with you! Thanks again!
Don't worry about being exciting, it's just fun to hang out with you with these videos and see what you're doing. Sometimes you go to an interesting location, or find something great, but even if you don't it's always nice to go with you. Must be true or so many of us wouldn't be doing it
In the '70s I worked at a sport fishing marina. There was a gas pump out on the docks. When people stopped there they sometimes worked on their boats. We had a guy who magnet fished for dropped tools and hardware. He got some good stuff.
Cool video, giving me ideas for this spring when the rivers thaw...been viewing other magnet fishing vids where the people stand on the riverbanks throwing the magnets and dragging the magnets to shore..covering and picking up a lot of interesting stuff....
Reminds me of hooking Stingrays. They suckered onto the bottom and it's like you have a heavy weight with a magnet until you jig it a little and they let go.
Love your videos you have taught me a bunch about artifacts,i could listen to you all day. Please keep the videos coming. I would also like to see a video of your artifact room it has to look like a museum,
You could use a flat head machine screw up from the bottom of the magnet, nut the top then use a coupler nut to attach the eye bolt.... just a thought and thanks for the adventures.
Was in the general vicinity around the same time this video was put up and found a spear point the size of the top of a soda can as well as a triangle scraper the size of quarter.
The blue buoy thing is a bumper for the boat I believe. It will stop the boat from hitting the rocky side. I never really liked the idea of them because they always seem to be in the way when you are not using them.
+Aquachigger hey man your videos are cool ...hey do you think that if you have a couple of phones that you find that no longer work that i can have them ..it would awesome
Really enjoy all your videos ! My all time favorite is when you found all those silver coins in that creek! Wow I had tons of great treasure dreams after that! I've watched those 2 videos dozens of times!! Thanks for your contribution to entertaining all us treasure hunters all over the a World!! You are great- you have a hit tv show for SURE!!!;) have an awesome day
i love ho they re did that part of the c and o its kind of funky because of the angles of the curves... well there not really curves, but its good fun and it look good.
Beau....looks like the broken point was Kanawha chert.......I was in Maryland and West Viginia looking for Native American artifacts about 4 years ago in Romney...love it there
Great! Another hobby. Just what I needed...LOL. Can't wait. I have some kayaks and this seems like a natural hobby to migrate to along with metal detecting. My wife thanks you. How long before you think the state will require a magnet "fishing license"?
To avoid the problem with the magnet nut sticking out a bit, first measure the depth with a plastic depth gauge (or just a bit of plastic strip you can mark with a pencil), grind the nut to suit, then have the usual total nightmare getting the bolt in.
I've tried a few boat docks without much luck I've had good luck at fishing docks and piers. most of the places I have access to are saltwater so metal doesn't last long in it
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one, as I do a lot of fishing/camping stuff in the summer, and it will be fun to remove some of the crap in the water...
Last time i tried doubling magnets... Well one was an earth magnet like the one you have but a bit smaller and the other was a regular magnet, the regular magnet actually flew out my hands and smashed into loads of pieces against the other and actually cut my hand (not badly but could have been a lot worse) so just goes to show how dangerous these things are
Thank you so much for posting a video about your boats! After watching the video I went to the Mokai site and I see what you mean, the jet sticks out like a stinger! Too bad, the older classics were the best! Lord bless you! Your friend in Christ, Carl Covey.
chigg, I used the same magnet except I went with a 3/8 inch counter sunk allen head bolt with a threaded eye acting as the nut on top. all came from home depot. works sweet use lock tight threads.
I saw those same magnets and went looking for a flat head machine screw...NO luck, BUT...I found a socket flathead cap screw in 1/4-20 that should work.
Man, good stuff here. Would love to follow you around a couple weekends and "learn" and explore new stuff. So cool. Would really enjoy anything like magnet fishing, metal detecting and arrowhead hunting. So cool thinking about a piece of history found 50, 100, 150 yrs later. Wow!! Enjoy your videos.
I dont know how strong this would be,but since the magnets are counter sunk, how about a counter sink bolt, then put a coupling nut on top with threaded eye on top of coupling, lots of threads involved but if thighten right i think it would work.
Beau, after a 10hr day behind a keyboard, bosses and insanity it is wonderful to go river hunting with you weather you get something or not. Those arrowhead pieces were awesome and that closing shot with the bridge was.. well I already used awesome so ultra uber-awesome? Whatever please keep on doin'-watcha-do. Really appreciate it.
+Aquachigger okay lol I know there's a trail for the bicycles that's like 1000ft long that I went across It's been many moons since I've been on it so I forgot what it looks like across
We used to use those magnets at our sign shop... And I know alll to well about the strength.... I have been pinched before.... And it didn't feel to well.
***** No probs, your channel is a welcome retreat from the madness in your country and mine sir, the US and the UK has to get away from the politics of hate and divide, and your videos provide that escapism. The sooner we all unite the better, we are all in the same wee motor powered boat....
Visualize if you will for a moment a time in the future where you Chigg, are the head of an organization called "I Am The River Janitor". Imagine a flotilla of volunteers in kayaks you lead every weekend that are emblazoned with ' The River Janitors" on their sides, and everyone wearing the T-Shirt "I Am The River Janitor". Everyone magnet fishing and picking up old boat fenders and , nylon rope and what have you, making the whirled a moar better place. Ok now, you can stop visualizing.
I love your vids and you have inspired my to dive around the rivers around me :) i bought a diving mask with go pro mount. Keep the vids coming they are addicting to watch
I'm glad you addressed magnet safety. I'm just thinking about getting into this and I didn't even think of the damage of getting a finger caught with one.
Never a dull adventure with Beau, thanks for another great video
+Aquachigger did u ever get the air chair?
man this guy is a really good dude. Makes me want to be a better man.
He's very interesting and a worldly man. Quite a traveler too. Once you start watching his videos you will be hooked. He finds the nearest stuff. He's a walking history book. Lol. this dude would be a great dad
Great to be back here again, I forgot how much I loved your videos!

Beautiful scenery and you did discover an artifact or two. Enjoyed coming along.
Don't worry about being exciting, it's just fun to hang out with you with these videos and see what you're doing. Sometimes you go to an interesting location, or find something great, but even if you don't it's always nice to go with you. Must be true or so many of us wouldn't be doing it
I like that you stop and show us the wildlife and other points of interest! I really enjoy your videos. 😊
You are a nice guy. I still watch your videos about 4 years now! Good luck.
In the '70s I worked at a sport fishing marina. There was a gas pump out on the docks. When people stopped there they sometimes worked on their boats. We had a guy who magnet fished for dropped tools and hardware. He got some good stuff.
Always an adventure Thanks Chigg!👀
Cool video, giving me ideas for this spring when the rivers thaw...been viewing other magnet fishing vids where the people stand on the riverbanks throwing the magnets and dragging the magnets to shore..covering and picking up a lot of interesting stuff....
Awesome! I've been watching your videos since 2014 and I just love your content! Congrats on your success so far!
Mr. O, you are awesome. Great video. Living vicariously through you, sir.
I am lucky enough to live 30 mins from CMS. They are great people!
i think all the people should like aquachigger vids it takes him a lot of time and te vids are high quality and good edited
I enjoyed myself, watching this guy enjoy himself.
Reminds me of hooking Stingrays. They suckered onto the bottom and it's like you have a heavy weight with a magnet until you jig it a little and they let go.
The possibilities of finding something is always fun.
Love your videos Beau! Your channel is definitely one of my top 3 favorite channels!
Eye-Bolts, Dead carp, and 130 year-old bridge abutments! Very cool video! I love old bridges!
Love your videos you have taught me a bunch about artifacts,i could listen to you all day. Please keep the videos coming. I would also like to see a video of your artifact room it has to look like a museum,

Was in the general vicinity around the same time this video was put up and found a spear point the size of the top of a soda can as well as a triangle scraper the size of quarter.
Awesome video keep up the amazing work!
Also did you know the fastest fish in the water is a motorpike with a sidecarp 😁
Has to be the Potomac River. We used to put in at Paw Paw WV and canoe to Little Orleans.
Too funny finding a civil war bullet at the last moment on top of the mud .Good going!Enjoyed the whole video Thank you
The blue buoy thing is a bumper for the boat I believe. It will stop the boat from hitting the rocky side. I never really liked the idea of them because they always seem to be in the way when you are not using them.
Nice trip nice arrowhead that broken one looks like the base to a point, nice bullet.
it looked fun, by the way the musket you pilled out of the mud looked like a 69 cal 1842 Springfield.
I have one like it
+Aquachigger I love your videos I can watch them all day
your content is such a nice break from all the other crap on this website. Keep doin what your doin Beau, love ya :)
You're great watch and learn for grandson and I. Thanks!
Your videos always help me wind down at the end of my day. Keep up the cool videos.
Thanks for blessing us.
That was a boat stanchion.the flat part was where it bolts to the deck at an angle.
Love your videos! Thanks for the great channel. Looks like the artifacts are both made from rhyolite. Neat!

Really enjoy all your videos ! My all time favorite is when you found all those silver coins in that creek! Wow I had tons of great treasure dreams after that! I think it's fun and exciting. I never get bored watching your videos.
Your welcome. :)
This definitely makes me want to get back to the outdoors. I would enjoy doing that even if I found NOTHING.
i love ho they re did that part of the c and o its kind of funky because of the angles of the curves... well there not really curves, but its good fun and it look good.
I love the motorized kayak.
Near the bridge, my old fishing hole, haha. I did find a few Civil War bullets in the bank, up river. Good place to treasure hunt, indeed.
To avoid the problem with the magnet nut sticking out a bit, first measure the depth with a plastic depth gauge (or just a bit of plastic strip you can mark with a pencil), grind the nut to suit, then have the usual total nightmare getting the bolt in.
Good artifact vid, don't just watch people go out and experience your own adventure!
thanks Beau for the adventures
Your videos make my day, keep them coming. Thanks.
Love your videos. Thanks for the information on the magnets in regards to the strength of them would not have even thought of something like that.
Your videos are never boring, and dare I say you could make folding socks interesting.
I am not bored..that's so fun looking
I've tried a few boat docks without much luck I've had good luck at fishing docks and piers. most of the places I have access to are saltwater so metal doesn't last long in it
I love the idea of using the Powerade bottle top to keep the magnet from hooking on branches.
Finally got myself a lifting magnet and some strong paracord so I can do some of my own magnet fishing
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one, as I do a lot of fishing/camping stuff in the summer, and it will be fun to remove some of the crap in the water...
if you do a bar with several magnets across it to cover more ground, you might have more success.
Last time i tried doubling magnets... Well one was an earth magnet like the one you have but a bit smaller and the other was a regular magnet, the regular magnet actually flew out my hands and smashed into loads of pieces against the other and actually cut my hand (not badly but could have been a lot worse) so just goes to show how dangerous these things are
I've spent the better part of 62 years in the woods and fields and rivers. I've never once found and arrow head. I'm so jealous! Fun vid though!
Oh it's fun. Nice and relaxing!
AquaChigger... It contents my heart to know I'm not the ONLY one who clicks at squirrels! :-D
I bought a 6' grabber for janitoring wherever we go kayaking
I enjoy all your videos. Don't stop.
Fun little video to watch River Janitor.
you can run a machine screw threw the hole and bolt some sort of fastener to that for your rope
even if we didnt find much its still fun to watch you work
chigger your the man!!!!! I learn something new every video
Thank you so much for posting a video about your boats! After watching the video I went to the Mokai site and I see what you mean, the jet sticks out like a stinger! Too bad, the older classics were the best! Lord bless you! Your friend in Christ, Carl Covey.
You should get one of those claw arms for reaching stuff. It would be pretty useful and shouldn't take up much space to carry.
chigg, I used the same magnet except I went with a 3/8 inch counter sunk allen head bolt with a threaded eye acting as the nut on top. all came from home depot. works sweet use lock tight threads.
I saw those same magnets and went looking for a flat head machine screw...NO luck, BUT...I found a socket flathead cap screw in 1/4-20 that should work.
Great Videos mate look forward to your clips after a bad day at work . Thank you
I went magnet fishing the 1st time today didn't find much found several hooks
cool video....enjoyed it....the magnet fishing looks really fun......
I've fished on that bank before right over top of that area where the baots would come in at that barn looking place
Wow!! Enjoy your videos.

another good one,,,, amazing what you can find just using your eyeballs.
My brother, you're amazing. PLEASE keep do what you're doing!
He's your brother
19:55 that's the bike path right? If it is that's not too much of a ride from the trail in my city
+Aquachigger okay lol I know there's a trail for the bicycles that's like 1000ft long that I went across It's been many moons since I've been on it so I forgot what it looks like across
I bought a magnet fishing kit today. I can't wait to try it out and catch my first fish!
It would be great if you would do a bit more videos on arrow head hunting. Looking forward to it! Thanks
We used to use those magnets at our sign shop... And I know alll to well about the strength.... I have been pinched before.... And it didn't feel to well.
Chigg we don't need MOAR in the title, we need MOAR videos!. Cheers man.
***** No probs, your channel is a welcome retreat from the madness in your country and mine sir, the US and the UK has to get away from the politics of hate and divide, and your videos provide that escapism. The sooner we all unite the better, we are all in the same wee motor powered boat....
you need to mount your camera on your head. free up your hands.
Maybe a mount on the side of the boat that he can adjust the angle of by turning it?
Visualize if you will for a moment a time in the future where you Chigg, are the head of an organization called "I Am The River Janitor".
Imagine a flotilla of volunteers in kayaks you lead every weekend that are emblazoned with ' The River Janitors" on their sides, and everyone wearing the T-Shirt "I Am The River Janitor". Ok now, you can stop visualizing.
Pete Seeger started a similar org. years ago. I think it was on the Hudson river.
Yes, it was done with a River Sloop called the Clearwater. Info here: www.clearwater.org/about/the-clearwater-story/
I think the whirled is moar better already. The whirld is a wonderful plaice.
And now, I must find more kayaks and people who aren't afraid of death water.
Oh, no! I am stuck visualizing!! Help. . . . I am seeing things. . . .all over. . .
20:48 looks like a good Spear point?
The videos with your boats in them are great.
I love your video's greetings from from Slovenia!!! our country is next to Italy
Dang what kind of motor do you have on the kayak. That looks like a cool set up
I enjoy all your videos. Keep up the great work.
I love your vids and you have inspired my to dive around the rivers around me :) i bought a diving mask with go pro mount. Keep the vids coming they are addicting to watch
Whenever I go magnet fishing people always ask what I'm doing and I love explaining it to them haha
Im glad i found your channel..you are such a good-natured man...☺thanks....CHEERS
