Every Brazilian knows this melody, but not because of its original lyrics (which are beautiful), but because of the genius of Silvio Santos (1930 - 2024), the greatest presenter in the history of television in Brazil, owner of a business empire and an intimate character among the people, present in Brazilian homes every Sunday for generations! The melody was the theme song for "Show de Calouros", a traditional program led by Silvio, loved by Brazilians and who entered immortality that year!
