Google Meet does this so that people can see the video preview as they see in the mirror without it being too jarring for them. ... This means that even if text and items in your video preview might appear to be flipped to you, they are shown in the correct orientation to your meeting participants.

I've reinstalled it multiple times, and I can't find ndi output settings in tools.
OBS has a new feature called "Virtual Camera" where you can do all this natively.
As long as you don’t want audio.

Does this setting allow to Share a (video with sound) from a source other than a Google tab, such as an MP4 from my hard drive?
Currently, Google Meet doesn't allow sharing a video (with sound) unless the video comes from a Google tab, such as UA-cam or Google Drive.

Thanks for this video but I'm having some kind of difficulties.
Audio Source and Media source working correctly but when connected to Google Meet for streaming, Media Source did not make a sound but audio sound (mic) working perfectly.
Can you help me figure this out ?

You have to actually install the NDI files from NewTek

Yes you can use one camera in as many scenes as you want in obs.

On the video no, but the audio you will have to use a virtual cable to replace de Line NDI option to route OBS audio output to the input (microphone) of Google Meet.

hello i wanted to know that since obs has a built-in virtual camera now i have option n the video setting of google meet that obs virtual camera and I used it and if ur doing a vlc video file on it it doesn't make sound in google meet
Virtual camera does not carry audio.

You can use stereo mix as your audio in g meet settings
Your instructions are clear, but outdated for NDI 5. The NDI interface doesn't populate the Tools menu and as a newbie I'm stuck.

Used OBS in Gmeet. All good during live meeting. However, when I ckecked the recorded video from Gmeet, there is no audio. How to fix it without installing additional software? Thankyou
You must route your obs audio to gmeet the ndi plug-in in this video should be listed in gmeet audio. Select that and your problem is solved.
i followed and installed 3 times but the application did not show on windows but rather show uninstaller and obs-ndi on the web only.

I use obs virtual camera to output to zoom. Every time I try to open google meet and use obs virtual camera, obs crashes. Do you have any ideas about this? Do I have to download the NDI thing just for google meet? I have searched everywhere for a solution.
The latest obs seems buggy to me. Rolling back a version or 2 may help.
Would I be able to stream to UA-cam using this setup?

oh god the intro scared me
its fine but, do you know or some one in the chat... i need the output of OBS as a screen, so i can share screen or app from google meet. The virtual cam dosent work for me due to when there are a lot of people in the meet my cam will be small and i cant say everyone to pin my cam... instead, if i can share my OBS output, automatically, every person in the meet will see my output in big picture...
I have no idea what you mean. The size of your image in meet for others will be the same either way.
HI, thanks for the informative video, but after setting it up the day before, the camera failed me today and even though I reownloaded everything and redid everything, obs still did not recognize my usb camera
Maybe the problem is within your machine?

what I ask myself is: what is the ultility of passing OBS on MEET, if the image is mirrored and therefore the texts and graphics of a typical videoconference are unusable? doesn't make much sense, does it?
That only what you see. The audience sees up correctly. As I state in the video.

You can install video mirror add on to ur chrome to mirror urself to normal

as of June 2 2021 dont bother doing this, OBS will not allow the tools to show up. you can read other comments also.
What tool won’t show up?

That's true. But it gives a warning and mic doesn't work...and finally it quits the meeting
