- In this video you will see the ignition coil mounts are finished and the bulkhead / firewall is finally sealed on the Fisher Youngster.
My videos are not intended to be instructional for building aircraft or the kit, they are to share how I am progressing and my methods. You may get ideas and tips for building an aircraft. My methods are those I have learnt or developed over time with aircraft, cars and boats. IF YOU USE MY METHOD ON YOUR AIRCRAFT, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Feel free to comment and give advice or ask questions, I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Whilst watching this episode the thought came to mind that Boeing could do with some of your help. Regards Michael
Ha Ha I love it, the problem is they have their design engineers miles away from the production area.
Decent looking seals and yes I'm sure they will do the job well enough.
I hope so, it is based on the method seen used on other aircraft types.
That’s some nice work mate. Good to see you contemplating some weight reduction too! 😉
I have been contemplating weight reduction on the plane all along.
@@flyingkub I know you have! Was just teasing!
Well I have started a diet so a bit tender :-)
I really liked the cable seals, they look just the job and better then grommets. Can I see your finest speed tape application there Algy ;)?
Thanks, I do think they with do. Yes a bit of good old speed tape to maintain the edge seal wrap on the fireproofing.
They look excellent to me. I did wonder if we were going to bump into you at Priory Farm at the weekend.
I did plan to go to Priory but was told the day before that it would probably be off due to water logging so ended up do chores.
