You can place the OCO once the trade is filled.

Hello Dale. The 6% of margin (6% of $1k in this case or $60) sounds good. In the video you talk about keeping an eye on the $506 price level. The price started at $518. I don't understand how the $60 relates to the difference between $518 and $506. Can you explain? Thanks.

So using your 6%/10% rule, if you have a five point spread, your stop loss would be set at a $30 loss and your profit target would be set at a $50 gain. Is that correct?

No, it would still be 6/10% of a five point spread or $30/$50 per contract.

a thesis .. the thesis on spreads ... your loss is locked in at open .... you can change it you can close the spread if it goes against you .. by the numbers doing that ( not letting the spread work on it's own ) have shown you defeat yourself as the math model " says" that the trade will go against you at some time ( alll things being equal ) FWIW
