I did this with one contract last Friday. We had quite a pull on $SPX and I was on the call side so by the EOD I closed the trade with a $90.00 profit. I will do one this week because of the holiday and see how it goes for me. Thank you for putting these up.

Hi. Very interesting 2 DTE system. With your current membership program, do you also offer other trade ideas/signals on top of the 2 DTE trades? For example, some of your older videos talk about SPY trades that also look interesting to me.

If you are trading options that expire the next day, that’s 1DTE, not 2DTE. 0DTE = same day. 1DTE = following day.

On the options chain this is a 1dte since same day is a 0dte. But yes it is 2 days.

Entering an option 1 day before exp. is a 1dte on my platform not 2dte. Can you explain, am I misunderstanding ?

OMG! This exact thing happened to me too!!! I bought a put credit spread for google on a day when there was an earnings announcement. I was a new trader and didn't know about the earnings. I received and $80 credit, so I put a stop loss at $160, so I wouldn't loose more than the credit I received. At the last 5 minutes of the day, the price sky-rocketed, and I should have been at max profit! Instead, my stop loss was triggered and I ended up with an $80 loss. I called Ameritrade and they told me the same thing. The spread got too wide and stopped me out! So, what should have been a win by any logic, became a loss instead! Totally sucked...

If I'm understanding this correctly, the expectancy is significantly negative for this strategy. The presenter says it has an 80-85% win rate. So, assuming 100 trades, 85% winners, winners are $115 per contract, and losers are $885 per contract ($10 wide spread), we can expect the following result: (100*0.85*115)-(100*0.15*885)=-3500 loss. And an 80% win rate would be even worse, an -8500 loss. If I've missed something, please clarify and correct me. Thanks.

I took a similar 0DTE trade on SPY. One hour before close it dropped below my short strike and my broker margin called me. Lost money on the short call and long expired worthless. Funny enough it was my first ever spread and also SPY jumped 15 mins before close to add salt to the wound.

Try 0 dte. I hold my trades for 20 minutes and make over $1,200 minimum per trade.

Is there a trial to join optionsinfinity? Reason is; ive joined other groups and then its not a style that fits me. They'll be doing cash secured puts on nvda. I dont have the money to do those! Or theyll do 1 minute scalps which is also not my style

Hello Dale, I love the videos, I am taking the 12 part series. I am paper trading SPX to expiration. I trade CTM close to the money (Delta 30-35). Your trades seem far enough OTM and seem safe to let expire worthless. I'm curious, have you back tested this wonderful strategy and allowed the trades to go all the way to expiration? I wonder what the win rate would be. Just a newbie trying to learn. Best regards.

But just for your info at the end of each lesson it takes me to the home page and tells me that I can download a PDF that will backup my knowledge of what I have learned in the 12 lessons, But each time (12 times) it wassted my time taking me to the home page and scrolling down to the Pdf.. I followed that same procedure and scrolled down the home page as directed and 12 times there was no PDF at the bottom of the page... Jeesh.. what a letdown...Can you help.. Is that no longer available or only when you pay to become a member.

Good videos Dave! Looking into joining your group. I have a question. How far back do you draw the linear regression lines. I see 21 period on the daily. Is that what you use? What about if someone traded 0dte or 1dte intraday? Would you just draw the regression lines to cover previous 2-3 days? Thanks!
