Yeah it's crazy I don't hear many fans talk about Forever Knight maybe because the show is so old I mean it came out in 1992 so 30 years ago and it's been off the air for almost 30 years so a lot of people including even fans of the horror and supernatural genre have forgotten about Forever Knight, also yeah as far I can tell you can only watch Forever Knight through dvd print copy, it's on Amazon Prime, and all of the episodes of the show are uploaded on UA-cam too surprisingly

Very good show, wonderful and at times, sad music. Forever Knight was never a super hero type of show, nor was the character one. The reasons? First, Natalie made it clear that Nick cared whether or not he used his vampire powers, implying that he either often tried not to use them or had caught criminals without using them. Second, the show had many ways of implying that vampirism wasn't a good thing, while also giving the opposite viewpoint. These two things, I believe kept many viewers from seeing the show and character as the super hero type. Whenever we saw him using his powers, many viewers minds likely went back to where Natalie said that Nick cared about how he caught the criminal and many times episodes focused on how Nick suffered for his choice he made.
Season 2 was mishandled by USA Network, even after the cast complained. But some episodes were good. Season 3 was massacred because the new owners never intended to keep the show going, so they really put no effort into making good episodes. The creators wanted the show to continue. They did not feel like, "hey, let's wrap it up". The creators, cast were ready for a 4th season but were told halfway through the 3rd season that it was being cancelled despite the huge following and interest the fans had for the show. The shows owners(network?) decided it was through. I also heard that the creator of the show tried to get someone else to continue it, but he couldn't find anyone who would stick with making the show more like its first season and second seasons and some did not want it at all.
You mentioned the episode, The Fix, but you forgot to mention the episode, The Human Factor where another vampire did, in fact, get cured. Also, in one episode I believe Lacroix mentioned to Nick that there were rumors that some vampires did get cured, but he never believed them and urged Nick not to. I wondered whether the writers did that to get viewers to ponder whether Lacroix was being truthful or lying to Nick. I do disagree with you about a cure not being stressed. I think it was a main point of the show. I disagree with you, again about the episode, Blind Faith being a weak episode. It was very heartwarming and yet, very sad and carried a very important message of not missing out on getting to know and showing love to those who are disabled. Maybe you need to try caring more about characters and how an episode relates to real life, then you would find this episode to be a good one. The breaking away from the Bram Stoker/Stephen King supernatural model was what made the show so unique. I think this show was closer to some of what Richard Matheson's idea of what vampires were.

Dude! Why not Toronto? Why always New York or Los Angels? Or London? They aren’t human and have their own preternatural reasons I would think, plus I might add Toronto did have a few Vampire inspired bars, one was called The Vampire Sex Bar, the other if I remember was The Velvet Underground, spooky that one was, anyhow good show and keep up the good work! Cheers!

It’s available on Amazon Prime. If you liked the Highlander tv series, this follows a similar “series engine” with the flashbacks and character development.
It’s especially fun to watch late at night.

I'd say it is very heavily implied, the only thing they wouldn't let them show was Nick getting staked.
