  • It's been some time since I've run the Axial SCX10.2 with the Proline VW Bug body. I usually use this rig as a spare crawler for when my primary truck fails or times when someone wants to come out and crawl but doesn't have a truck. It's a pretty capable crawler and I like to take it out once in a while!
I took it out to Mini Moab and tried it on some of the hard lines that the LCG trucks do and it did really awesome!
Thanks for checking out the video and be sure to come back for more Cactus Crawlers RC!

Forgot to mention in the last comment... I used your salt method on my 66 Chevy, and it looks totally like yours! Excellent reference 👌

The beetle looks right at home! Brother what is the wheelbase? It doesn't look like you had to trim much keeping the body in tact. All my rigs are 313mm. Thanks man, nice job 👍

I just measured the wheelbase and it's about 310mm so not far off of the 313mm of your rigs. I did a little trimming on the fender openings to clear the bigger tires but not too much, I wanted to keep that class 11 baja bug look! Thanks for checking out the video I'm glad you liked it!
