Thanks Mark! I had a shop teacher that had an old blue Scout and used to take a few of us out and let us take turns driving it out in the desert! It was one of the coolest things ever I'll never forget! I'm really happy with the color, the extra silver flake really gave it a lighter tone! @@rcarty419Hi Arty, it would have been an awesome save if I had pulled it off! Yes they are the predator compound and broken in pretty good! They’re not as good as the Ruptures but they are legal for competition.

Yes I scratch made mine out of styrene and got the Axial interior parts tree that comes with steering wheel, door handles, window cranks and gear shifter. I put bulges on the sides so it snug fit into the body's shape, that pretty much kept in in place. If you didn't want to do all the scratch building you might be able to make a generic lexan interior fit by trimming of the back passenger area. I hope all this info helps you out!

@@CactusCrawlersRC big problem here is a place to go that you could set up something like this in Australia there's always a Karen lurking "your not allowed to do that there" I'm secretly planning/hoping to do something like this on my property the rc community need a private place they can have an event without the nonsense I'd have a lot of work to do and I need some ideas to make good trails and accessible for people as much as I can my kids say I'm part mt goat lol so not everyone can climb where I can but it's totally on my mind to host or help the rc community have these events

@@rcuintheshed6981 that’s too bad we also get the Karen’s, usually hikers or bikers saying “you’re in the way”. I once had a ranger tell me that I couldn’t trail run because I would “scare the horses “ when there were no horses around! Maybe make some obstacles that you could put in place but box up when done? I think it would be an awesome idea to set up something on your property!

@@CactusCrawlersRC lol they're literally everywhere 🤣 a ranger and horses is pretty extreme, I can promise you rc cars don't bother my horse one bit he's curious more than anything they're intelligent animal.... we had a group of Karen's in those beach vids I did tell us we were to old to be running crawlers and we shouldn't be there I told her she was to old to wear bike shorts and shouldn't be there ..... reaction to that was priceless 🤣

Since the filming he's changed out the carbon fiber wheels for something with some weight to keep that rear end down on the descents. I'm really loving the paint job he did, that guy's got talent! Hi Shawn, The FXC24 has impressed me since I've swapped out the tires and put a lighter body on it but I still think the SXC24 is probably the better truck. It also has a bigger aftermarket than the FCX24, I really do like them both! Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked the video!
