Everything I've ordered and all the business I've done with Taco Moto has been TOP NOTCH!!! Love these guys and they are true dirt bikers that care about each customer. I wonder how much that bike weighs now with all the upgraded components vs. stock. Thanks for the great vid. Will be ordering some of those foot pegs from you soon.
Mike, thanks for another awesome "ultimate bike build"! More details on the suspension and that oil filter would be outstanding! I am most of the way through setting up a KTM version of the same bike and am very curious about those two aspects!
Love these big bike builds especially the R’Idaho/TOI builds 👍🏻
I truly love my 501, even w/out these upgrades. Hard to beat.
I'd love to see the radiator guard comparison. Thanks for loving bikes so much!
Very sweet Mike! I'm not going to let my wife watch this video. She'll want everything you described on your new fe350
I just picked up a 22 FE501s and I am fully overwhelmed by this video. So much good info tho.
My friend had a mid-70's Husky 250 with a chrome tank that we thought was all the rage. Every time I think of a Husky that's the vision I see. This one, is of course, way nicer.
I basically copied this layout on my FE501. Except my local Susp shop dialed my bike in for me. And fmf for exhaust and vortex ecu. All the taco moto fuel connections were a must.
Hard enduro dual sport. I like that it's what I ride only a ktm 350 excf done just like that
You build amazing bikes
Mate I love your reviews on the bikes you have kitted here on the East Coast of Australia it would cost you a body part to buy half that stuff I really like the Clake setup and the pipe it actually looks similar to the Wings muffler very similar and they're great with different optoins for super quiet and spark arresting thanks heaps for the totally in depth reviews fricken awesome builds
Dang Man is that my 22 KTM-500 in the background, that you wouldnt give up from renegade sports about a month ago! 😅😂!! I picked another one up about 3 weeks ago! I Love it! So light and smooth power! I just preodered your tailtidy/enduro plate last night! probably get in touch to have you do the get ECU and get the graves exhaust and bar stabilizer this winter! Ive been tearing up the mountains here i north utah every weekend! Great videos and content!
amigo! that 22 behind the 501? that's our new 350. we had a few 500's on order, did you want to snag one? i'm sorry if we ate your milkshake amgio (movie reference). sounds like nando hooked you up though i guess. make some videos of your braaaap and share links. stay rad and never die.
Haha yea nando was going to give me a 500 they had in the back for you and give you the next one that came in! but i guess you already had it for someone specific! So it didnt pan out ! But i ended up finding one in provo so i snatched it up! No harm no foul! Ill definitely be giving you some business soon! And looking foward to that tidy tail!
let's build some 501's Mike! love this build!
If this guy ever wants to sell this bike let me know. He literally put everything on that I would have done.
So many goodies!!! Nice bike!!!
awesome detail!!!
Good Stuff Mike
Basically what I've based my build on some. Not sure yet on power mods. Mostly doing protection first. Then lights and seat, mako 360 bar mounts. Graphics. I'm interested in the traction control. But I haven't seen a good video on it yet.
Very nice build. It appears the fuel line is rubbing against the cylinder. But that's just me I'm picky that way.👍🏻
I love all the upgrades and mods. Having said that I've put 3700 solo miles on a 2023 fe501s with zero mechanical issues. I don't do extreme hard Enduro but I've been through some nasty rocky crap. Never had a flat either. I carry tools but haven't needed them. What are essential upgrades to make sure I don't break on the trail? Thanks
Sick bike
What’s the approximate cost for all those upgrades, say I just drop off a new bike and say I want all these upgrades, amazing work my friend
I’d guestimate 4-5k
Spoke to soon 5-6k probably closer to 6.
@@chadcromell4767 Truthfully I was expecting more. Put a rally tower on it and you’re looking at a $20k dirt bike. 😬
@@chadcromell4767 I would guess at least 10k. the suspension alone has to be like 3k. The parts list is extensive! worth it though if you got it $$
I have a lot of these upgrades on my 2020 Fe501. Vortex ecu - FMF CARBON Scott’s steering stabilizer- bro mounts and fast company brass inserts , mousse bibs aceribis 3 gal, shinko fatty/ max is desert It, a new decal kit from Bike graphics. We’re at 18k including the bike. Worth every penny on the long overnight rides when we put in 100miles OFF-ROAD MILES in. Just my 2 cents.
That has to be the 3.9 tank?? With the big bulky top?
Do y'all ever ride or do you just build? :D
Hi Mike, just purchased 2023 501s and ordered the Emperor guard, will a larger tank affect install, I see the larger tank on this 501.
What a beautiful build. What is a stronger bike Ktm 500 or Husq 501?
Their effectively identical other than linkage for the 501 and the use of magura hydraulics instead of brembo. The husky uses a composite subframe instead of aluminum.
Please do a build of the beta 480 rr.
Great video who makes that throttle cable guide on the handlebar clamp?
Speaking of radiators and colorant, why don't you use the CV4 radiator caps with the higher pressure?
Reeds out on this one or did you leave them in?
Do you guys have a sort by motorcycle option on your site? If so I must be missing it.
Dam and I’d be happy with a old cb500 or kx500 for my 7 acres lmao
Hello could you send me links to the products you went over in this video? I would like to purchase some of these.
Will your drop in wiring harness include circuits for converting to LED throughout? If not, will it have the wiring and connectors included to add on an LED controller? (2021 KTM 500 EXC-F)
yes, but if you have an EXCF you don't need the harness just the lights, like our LED fork wraps 360's and the tidy tail.
Wow
Where did you get those footpegs?
Read that frame has a compoote section that is easuly broken
My wallet cries in DRZ.
Joke, I have absolutely nothing to do on a bike this capable!
Pretty sure that is the 3.9 Gallon Fuel tank, not 3.1
whats going on with the magura bicycle brake on the left side of the bar
Left hand rear brake system by OX BARAKE
Works Connection aluminum skid plate mo Better
What would you charge for all this work?
We do builds in the $3500-18k range
Do you happen to know the weight of the 500 with all the add ons?
300lbs!!!!!!
there's no way that's only a 3 gallon tank
3.9
@@TACOMOTOCO damn! getting my 3.9 acerbis tank installed on my 21 500 today. it looks like it goes so far up on the tank!
It’s not a Baja designs light?
Motominded makes the mount that is being used.
You should have better frame guards. You guys haven’t seen the acerbis guards? They cover more of the frame….. cmon, use the best……
If you ask price you can’t afford it
Super build, but that tank is positively ugly…
Interesting that you take a stock bike and layer expensive junk… you can do well with stock…. Don’t need any of this!
Nice bikes but don't call it hard enduro😂
